Rocky will fight its way into every pizza lovers heart!
In joint when you walk in you will see a long pizza display case with a few tables but don’t fooled by the small front because there is a huge room in the back perfect for a big group of friends/​pizza party etc.
The best slice at this place is the pesto slice mmmmm it’s the perfect mixture of peso sauce and fresh mozzarella the is just perfection. Their next best slice is the chicken bruschetta which just hit the spot with those fresh tomatoes.
If you are in the area of looking to order in food in midtown east this is a great spot!

Don’t order the chicken parm. It should be a staple for an Italian restaurant but it was so tough you couldn’t cut it. Very bad. Would not recommend

Solid spot for a great variety of fresh pizzas. Large groups of students and young adults seemed to prevail. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. The NY style slice I had was quite good — Pepperoni and Chicken. The Sicilian slice was less so. Overall a good value for a quick bite, and the variety make this place worth a visit.

Hands down the best pizza I have ever had in my life. My boyfriend and I were itching for pizza at 2 am in Murray Hill one night. We had a less-​than satisfying, overpriced dinner earlier that evening in another part of town and we needed a quick fix. He found Rocky’s and we walked there, grabbed a bunch of different slices, and went to pizza heaven. I got the Ravioli Pizza because it just looked irresistible. Honestly, I don’t even like eating pizza but this was just the most phenomenal thing I’ve ever tried. It was decadent and filling and generous and stuffed with soft cheese and just… AHHH. I cannot even describe. The bbq pizza is delicious too. And the pesto. And the cheese. Okay so we ate more than one slice. Whatever. :)

Ordered an XL pie delivered and first off this joint took like an hour to get to me, and second worst pizza i’ve ever had. Im talking cardboard no taste what the hell am i putting into my mouth bad. got a bit high and really just needed some bomb cheese pizza to hold us over, and this was def not the spot.

I’ve only gotten the Penne Alla Vodka pizza and let me tell you it is amazing. Probably wouldn’t recommend it if you’re on a diet, but if you’re looking for something unique and undeniably tasty I think you’ve found it here.
I’ve heard good things about some of their other food as well, so i think I might have to branch out soon!

I stopped by Friday after work to order a large mushroom pie to go, and ended up with a large cheese pie to go after they got my order wrong, thus «saving» a dollar in the absence of my preferred topping! New York in style, Rocky’s pizza is delicious, thick crust and all. How can anyone go wrong with that?

Unilocal’s PROBLEM OR WHATEVER.
I ordered and waited for 2 hours. They said they did not get my order. Have called customer service like 9 times but nl answer. Thank you for the starving night! Well, too bad. Not ordering again from here again.

Their pizza was so good! I will never look at pizza the same. Rocco’s pizza is octave charts delicious! They deliver and we didn’t wait long. I definitely recommend them to all the foodies out there looking for a really amazing cheese pizza!

Ordered a penne a la vodka pie at 12:30 am. Delivery was fast and the price was extremely reasonable. The pizza itself was some of the best pizza I have had in NYC. Garlic knots are also very good. Great late night pizza place.

This is pizza heaven. There are so many different flavored and interesting toppings! I stopped by last week to have pizza since Tom Y. and I didn’t want to cook so we went on a pizza date.
This Rockys is on 2^nd and pretty tiny from the front but actually has a larger dining area on the back. Most people are here for take out and it gets VERY busy. We says near the back and ordered 3 slices. Order first and grab a seat. Love that they have a whole array of your pizza sprinkle toppers – oregano, pepper flakes, salt pepper and parm!!! Thank goodness for having knives and forks avail because the slices are HUGE!!!
We ordered 3 slices to share – the caprese, the vodka cheese ravioli and mixed veggie/​meat. Added in a Snapple and it was almost $ 18!!! When was pizza so expensive? This better be good.
Caprese – fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and evoo – beautifully done. Tasted like caprese salad on pizza dough. Loved it.
Vodka sauce Ravioli – carb on carb deliciousness – pizza that fell straight from heaven. Whoever thought of this you are a mad genius. So good!!!
Medics meat and veggie supreme. Fix in of all the veggies plus pepperoni and sausage. Actually the most underwhelming one in terms of creativity and flavor.
Crust – too doughy, should be a little thinner.
Foldability — Brooklyn style fold — pass only for some. Eat it with a fork and knife because it’s almost deep dish.
Final verdict – get something crazy!

We ordered a pie, two sprites and some fries at 12:51 pm. they made a small mistake. They corrected it the way a good place should. They were polite about and more than fair. They pie is amazing and the amount of cheese and sauce is exactly right to the ingredients. Great crust, too.
Great people, because I know this matters most.

This review is for takeout from Rocky’s. In general, this is a great place to get a large crowd-​pleasing order with pizza that is interesting as well. For their veggie pizza, the vegetables are real. Like large chunks of broccoli and spinach. Not sure if there is much cheese on this pizza but maybe I just had a weird slice.
There is also a really interesting pesto cheese pizza that has TONS of cheese and really great pesto flavor. It just works.
As for the crust itself, the dough is chewy but quite thin which is nicely balanced with a tomato sauce that is not overpowering.
Overall, decent pizza.

Ok, so you love New York style pizza right? Who doesn’t? I’m from Chicago and while I love Chicago Style Pizza, I also love New York Style Pizza as well (why choose one over the other when both are great?). But, have you had New York Style Pizza with Ravioli on top with vodka cream sauce and covered in mozzarella? Unless you’ve been to Rocky’s before, the chance is you haven’t. Which is why you need to stop everything you’re doing and come here. They have a ton of other types of pizzas too.
Some may think it’s pizza sacrilege what they’re doing here, but as long as the pizza is good I say why not. And it is good here, very good. I came here after a good friend said I needed to try it. I’m grateful that I did despite feeling like a whale afterwards. These slices are no joke (especially the ravioli one) and this is the place to come when feeling indulgent. The ravioli slice isn’t one with just a couple of pieces of ravioli on top either, there are freaking layers of ravioli on the pizza. I also got their bbq chicken slice which is great too. They have so may others that sound and look great I can’t even get into it. Just come here and see for yourself. The best part may be when they hand you the box or plate and you realize how heavy the slice is.
If you’re worried about being too indulgent, just remember what Julia Child used to say, «Everything in moderation, even moderation.»

Come hungry! These slices are HUGE and really heavy with toppings! I’ve never even seen some of these options so it was fun to see so many new combinations.
Although i had never been here before, I brought some friends from out of town to experience New York pizza. 10 year old Nikki, the picky eater of the family, says «That pizza was so good, and I don’t even like pizza!»
The pizza was delicious and there was a nice air conditioned room in the back with extra seating. Service was prompt and friendly.
Now, from a New Yorker perspective, this isn’t necessarily classic NY pizza. My slice was a little light on the cheese and sauce with a very fluffy crust, however I didn’t try the plain or pepperoni slices, so those are probably more «New York“ish.
Anyways, definitely recommend! Plus there’s a bar which is always a plus ;)

I sure miss Rocky’s, living in Nashville. Once I tried their good pizza I ordered from them frequently. Their pizza crust is their selling point, deliciously crispy. But the massive Italian hero is the best I’ve ever had and will be hard to beat. Its many ingredients are so generous the sandwich doesn’t fold, it’s more than a scrumptious mouthful. I doubt you’ll be able to finish it in one sitting, but I guarantee if you try it you’ll love it!

Takes the New York pizza crust one step too far, and is so floppy and soggy in the middle that it can’t support its own weight, even when folded. A quarter of the toppings are lost just getting slices out of the box.
The thing is that the flavor are actually pretty good. Specifically, the margherita pizza explodes with flavor and the barbeque chicken is no joke four pounds of food. Too bad the crust doesn’t come close to supporting that weight.
Use a fork and knife. Like a European would.

The pizza options here are unique and I can not name most of their toppings. We had deep dish, and chicken salad (pizza). The chicken was very tender and the lettuce was fresh, over the dough. I also had a slice of margarita which is also very nice. I would be much better if there is a mane or list on the wall so I can try everyone on it.
The layout in the back is interest and there are extra seats in the basement.

The name plays well into my ensuing review — as «#2» was a not-​too-​unfair metaphor for our delivered pizza.
We had a late lunch at Piacere’s and so, understandably, we were a bit «peckish» in the room (we’re out-​of-​towners here for the marathon) and Unilocaled to find decently reviewed pizza delivery outfits close to us. Rocky’s came up and so we called. We ordered a large spinach and mushroom and expected non-​canned mushrooms and cooked-​on-​the-​pizza spinach. Alas, it wasn’t to be.
Rather, we got what was likely a «on-​standby» pre-​fabbed cheese pizza with canned/​sliced mushrooms AND what seemed to be cooked/​canned spinach.
We’re certainly not complaining about the volume of food. There was ample spinach (think seaweed strewn across a beach of pizza — with the occasional conch shell (mushroom) interspersed. Look at the picture and judge for yourself.
It’s also possible that dine-​in fares fare much better!
