Revolver Salon

Jason is AMAZING! I used to go to a salon in Soho for color/​cuts, but Jason has won my love! I originally was a bit skeptical getting my hair done in Ricky’s, but last minute needed to get a half head highlight and cut, and decided to take what I thought would be a risk with Revolver.
I am a blonde, and he nailed the color I was looking for… very natural look with some lighter face framing highlights to get me in the summer state of mind. He did a great job with my cut and blow out as well. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!

This is an overdue review for Jason, who deserves so much love! A few weeks ago, I decided it was time for a hair cut and do something fun. When I went to Jason for my idea of getting a layered cut with the bottom colored manic panic purple (something I had never done before) he loved it and was totally on board. I am blonde, so we agreed my hair did not need bleaching. As I waited for the dye to set, he gave my boyfriend a wonderful cut too (we didn’t set up an appointment for him, but I was the last customer of the day and he has short hair-​it turned out great for his egg head). Both of our cuts and my coloring turned out beautifully. I’m usually one to be uncomfortable in salons, not being able to really continue conversations or feel out of place. Jason was wonderful and I have never been so excited to come back…
Which I had to do a week later since I didn’t do my homework and get the right shampoo so all of his beautiful work came right out. I called and he was more than happy to redo it (for free!) and educated me on proper color care with a recommendation on other colorings. I would ¹⁰⁄₁₀ recommend to anyone I know.

Got a blow out at Revolver Salon by Erin and she did an amazing job. I have coarse and curly hair that a lot of stylist actually complain about blow drying. My hair never came out this straight, and Erin didn’t use a lot of heat. And to top it off she was extremely friendly and professional. I really recommend her! I never write reviews but she did such a good job I had to create a Unilocal account!

I brought my daughter here to get her hair colored for the first time ever. She has very thick, dark, wavy hair. Carly came very highly recommended and took good care of us. She was very patient and proficient through the entire process. She offered opinions and options but was never pushy. She offered tips, products and recommendations for proper upkeep. We were so happy with the results and with Carly that we came back to try another color. I highly recommend Carly and the Revolver salon.

Let me preface by stating that I am a bit of a hair snob :) Used to be a drybar regular (unfortunately the constant heat killed my hair) and alas, I have searched for an alternative to get my hair back to health. I am now officially a Revolver convert. Carly is my GIRL! I moved back to the neighborhood recently and am so happy to have found an amazing stylist. I have VERY particular hair (thin curly hair that’s been over-​processed) and she is so gentle with my hair — and yet she somehow manages to transform my hair every single time so that I leave with a full voluminous head of hair. On top of that, my hair has become noticeably healthier since I have been seeing her. I know she does amazing color as well, and would refer her to anyone in a heart beat. On top of that, she is the world’s biggest sweetheart. GO SEE HER — you will leave very happy!
PS — I have seen Erin too, and she is fabulous as well! Bottom line, everyone who works here is extremely sweet & super talented!

Got my hair done at the Revolver salon by Erin and it came out amazing! I came in frustrated from another salon where the stylist argued with me about what color I should make my hair (told me I wouldn’t look good blonde cause I’m a brunette) but Erin was super friendly and professional. She knew exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job. I have a lot more hair than average and she was more than willing to take on the challenge. She spent hours coloring my hair and even did a trim and blow dry and it came out nicer and cheaper than a lot of the other salons in the area. Recommending her to all my friends in the area.
