I have known Eddie forever and he has been giving me great haircuts forever… after all the years, I am proud to call him my friend as well as my haircutter and greatly admire his professionalism and attention to detail. Additionally, we always trade info about new music or restaurants and the time seems to fly by when I’m sitting in his chair. The salon itself has a nice, relaxed vibe to it that adds to the overall experience. I see Eddie 10 – 12 times a year and every visit is worth it!

I love Linea. Marina has been cutting my hair for several years and I consider her a friend. She is truly one of the sweetest people I know and happens to also give me great cuts each time! It’s a relaxed environment full of nice people who work there. I’m happy to spend a little money on things like hair cuts, so while they’re not the cheapest place their prices are very reasonable. I enjoy the time I spend chatting with Marina during my leisurely appointments and look forward to my visits!

The worst haircut just gets worse! I had my hair cut here a few times with Osvaldo. He did a very nice job the first time — decent color, and a nice cut — though once his boyfriend showed up, he got completely distracted and wanted to get out of there so badly that he left me an unwanted«rat tail» in the back. I eventually forgave and went back. Every time, he gets distracted and has bad very time management skills — he will literally keep you there for 5 hours and spray down your hair with water repeatedly while he is «processing» your color, washing out individual highlights and basically playing with your foils so much that they bleed into your roots and you are left with splotches everywhere. On that of that he doesnt even care if your roots are all them same length… or even close… and this makes your hair color look muddy and dirty and just very unprofessionally done! If another customer walks in or his boyfriend shows up, you are definitely going to get short changed with Osvaldo. Dont have him do your highlights. He clearly doesnt know what he is doing and even if you get lucky one time, the next time you will end up with severely underprocessed hair and he will just charge you whatever he feels he can get away with. He did such a BAD and HORRIBLE job on my last color AND cut, that I called back to complain. Eddie was really great over the phone and had an excellent bedside manner with me promising me that they would fix my hair and that no one would tell Osvaldo I called. The next day Osvaldo calls me because the owner, Roberto, opened his big mouth and told him! I wanted a horrible hair cut and orange color fixed — not more drama! anyhow, they set me up with a very nice lady, but she too gave me a really bad haircut — really really bad! I mean Tabitha needs to come and take this place over because they CLEARLY have not been keeping up with their training ATALL. The haircut this very nice lady gave me, doesnt even go with my texture, and I have pretty great hair that the TOP stylists in NYC have loved cutting. Good Stylists always know that they will get a referral from me and I am a really great tipper too! I come in to have my hair fixed and listen to Roberto and the woman who fixed my hair agree how horrible my color looks and talk abut Osvaldo being unable to manage time and how orange my blond highlights came out and also that the cut is really bad too. Roberto ACTUALLYCHARGEDME $ 120 to have the mistake corrected! Are you kidding me? Bad hair cuts, and really unscrupulous business practice too. who charges their customer to correct a mistake one of their people made. That would be like a restaurant charging you when you sent back a steak for having a rat turd on it. Anyhow, I would have been okay spending a total of $ 400 plus tip if my hair had turn out good at all, but even the new cut is a disaster! I think the lady who was cutting it was afraid she wasnt going to get paid and just decided to not put much effort into it at the end. Went back to my old and very expensive stylist and he LAUGHED at the style. He’s making me wait another month to correct everything because he wants my hair to grow more first. I wil NEVER go back here and neither should you… though Eddie sounds like he might know what he is doing — he sure had the best customer service in the place!

I have been going to Linea for at least 14 years. Roberto is a master, I am endlessly pleased with his haircuts. They grow in really well so I can stretch the time between cuts. He is a genius when it comes to blow outs too, my hair is never straighter or flatter and he never uses and iron, just his magic. Isabella does a great updo. The hair for my wedding lasted all day and all night, not one hair got out of place.
