This Pret location is amazing! Always clean and organized, they never run out of anything — fresh food is cooked on premises throughout the day(managers are doing a great job as far as inventory and operations are concerned). Most importantly, their staff is efficient, super friendly and attentive. Their baristas definitely know what they are doing — I’m truly impressed considering that it’s not a gourmet coffee shop. Also, their almond croissants are an absolute indulgence — definitely give it a try!

Pret is a chain, so you’ll never get THEBEST bakery goods and sandwiches. But that being said, it is a very good stop for a bite on the go(think Panera Bread) and the staff is super friendly at this location, despite it always being busy right near the World Trade Center.

Today = last day a Pret. They’ve stopped wifi provisioning and I know 5 other places with croissants that have wifi. Pret, kiss my $ 10 a day goodbye!

My favorite place when I want something to-go on the quick. Nori wraps, salads, bagels, honey pots, non-dairy yogurt-ish cups, and a basic but good selection of juice. Today I picked up the beet juice and nori wrap. Both were good and both tasted fresh. Bought the coconut yogurt cup for later which I enjoyed. My BF ordered a coffee and cookie. He said they were good, too. Handmade natural food and organic coffee. It’s like a super healthy 7 – 11. Finally!

Stop in here periodically when I am in town on business and in need of caffeine or a quick bite. When I stopped in this evening the young woman behind the counter was particularly friendly and hospitable, she is a true asset to the establishment and deserves special recognition! Because of her outstanding service with a smile, I will be back, and also tell all my colleagues in the neighbourhood to visit this excellent Pret location! Good job, A+++!!!

This place is filthy and needs to be cleaned up… I had to tell the workers to have the manager cleans the register screens it was full of crumbs all of them… The whole register area is full of crumbs… Mind you this was early in the am around 7… How could the front counter be so dirty that earlier…

The food is pretty average and a bit overpriced. There is a real lack of seating and the place is very loud. Add to that the filthy tables and restrooms and you end up with a less than enjoyable experience.

I frequently grab coffee, breakfast or lunch at this location. Recently I have not had a great experience: I got a salad the other day and the chicken tastes as if it wasn’t even washed and it threw me off completely. Today I got one of their delicious yogurt and when I was at the cashier I realized that if you use your debit card to make a payment, you don’t need to enter your PIN number and the cashier doesn’t check your ID. So that made me a bit uncomfortable. I gave the cashier the suggestion to start checking ID’s and she said to me: «I only work here».

Never been to one of these before but will totally be returning! I have yet to see one on the west coast but hope they put one in the SF area! The food was really good quality for the price and the taste was better than I was expecting. The employees were friendly and managed to check everyone out really quickly so the long line was hardly a problem! Awesome franchise and nice environment.

All I know is Pret A Manger is kinda pricey for their sandwiches, soups and salads. I’ve had their sandwiches before and I was not very happy with the price. BUT… someone at work brought me a cookie at this Pret A Manger. Wowee, it was a pretty yummy cookie. Daggonit, now that I know their cookies are delicious… looks like I am going to visit more often.

pret is always changing, updating, upgrading, making things better. as a fellow businessperson, i adore that! granted not all of their food(ad)ventures are hits but you have to admire a company that is always doing their best. overhaul of the menu and even the drinks, they always hit the refresh button and it’s always exciting to see. they are my go to fast lunch place, my when i want to make a kickass impression on clients visiting my office(have you had their ridiculous croissants straight from heaven?), or when i’m having a long day and i want a crazy chewycrunchy cookie. and they’re so friendly that when you’re here, you’re family. yes, even corporate.(i have reached out on occasion for catering help.) i’ve never seen food retail where people are actually happy about their job. love.

Plenty of Prets in Financial District/Downtown. You can never go wrong with their croissants and/or coffee. This particular Pret met my expectations for a Pret; clean, fast, fresh. I spent 15 minutes perched on the window-side stool, enjoying my coffee while people-watching amidst the morning rush. No complaints with this Pret from me.

Im in disbelief at the moment, today I must say will be my last day returning or spending a dime at this place. Today is 3.3rd.2015534 pm, a nice young woman who just so happen to be of another race asked to use the bathroom and was gladly provided the password with no questions asked, I then asked may I use the restroom after the young lady to the cashier and the manager who happened to be of a lighter complexion and hispanic told me No No you have to buy now first in such a harsh manor, I said calmly that a second ago you provided the young lady who just so happen to be Caucasian the passcode without question but deny me access to the restroom, I didn’t scream or yell just simply told the manager and the cashier at the moment that what you did was very offensive and I’m shocked that this is the employees Pret hired to be of service to customers, this is an experience that no one should ever go through, It made me think of history where it was a white only bathroom where colored are not allowed, it’s not the way I would ever have imagined this place to be, I’m totally in shock that this is modern day America and companies would tolerate this. Please you be the judge, is this how any human being should be treated? my email is , I’m not here to bash anyone but the experience would offend anyone that was in my shoes, this isn’t a race thing it’s a human issue that was truly offensive and created a unwelcoming environment.

I used to come here every day when it first open for breakfast or snack. I always get the chocolate croissants, almond croissant, oatmeal, chocolate cookie, brownies and the soups(are amazing). The brownies never fail because it comes from the factory. I wish I can buy a dozen of those(and gain 20 pounds). Chocolate croissant are always yummy. But the almond croissant have been raw(inside) for the past few months. I stopped getting it. And the chocolate cookies have been burnt. I’m always afraid to get the peppermint chocolate cookie now. What the heck? Can’t enjoy a craving from Pret anymore lol I noticed the customer service hasn’t been too friendly. Only one or two people have been there for a year, and I am guessing there has been a huge turnover. I find the one in Broad Street to be a lot nicer.

Been trying to hunt down good almond croissants ever since I moved to NYC from London. Most bakeries in New York cut the the croissants in half after it’s baked and add the almond paste like sandwich filling. This is NOTRIGHT! American croissants tend to be sloppy as a result and way too much sugar. Pret is a very common in London and the Croissant is just how I remembered. Fluffy with a crispy coat and generous filling, and most importantly NOTCUTINHALF. Thumb up for authentic almond croissant in NYC(well, authentic by London standards anyway. The French may disagree).

I work in the area and found myself roaming around looking for lunch one day and found myself in the Pret location. It was a late lunch for me, around 2pm. Usually at this time of the day, most lunch spots are a bit of a mess and have often run out of certain things. Not so here. The shelves were fully stocked and the space was pretty clean as well. I grabbed a roast beef sandwich and was able to find an open seat and enjoy my lunch. This spot has now been added to my lunch time rotation.

The initial service was fast and food was okay, but literally everyone in the establishment(from vagabond New Yorkers and European tourists and every other staff member [except one lovely man who directed me to his boss in a black polo {who ignored me}]) had the worst attitude. I bought a soup and coffee for the one purpose of using their wifi, and when their wifi wasn’t functioning, all that could be said was«our IT person isn’t here.» On the receipt I was given and as advertised on websites, free wifi is part of the deal. Managers at pret, get it together.

My mom and I come to NYC about three times a year and I always have wanted to try this place when we go. I’m all about soup(yesss) and sandwiches so I was excited to stop during my solo NYC exploration. I went to order my soup and saw it said to get it at their hot bar. When I saw what it was a was a little hesitant but picked up at cup of Mediterranean Seafood Stew and headed to check out. The cashier noted that there were fresh rolls in the oven that would be done in about seven minutes and asked if he would like to bring one to my table when they were done. Absolutely! Carbs are my one true love! The soup was delicious and had generous amounts of seafood in its spicy(ish) tomato broth. I ended up with the soup, a roll, and a can of Coke for around $ 7.50. Not bad for a meal in Manhattan. The customer service was excellent. The cashier had a smile the entire time, was very friendly, and got me really excited about bringing that roll to my table. I had a very good experience and would definitely return.

Wow. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this chain. We were late for an event and needed a bite and were prepared for the usual indifferent sandwich and yucky soup. At least at this particular location, they manage the lunch time rush. The hot entrees are not the usual warmed over yuck but quite tasty. We liked the BBQ pork wrap and the Italian wedding soup. A good choice if ur in Lower manhatten and need something quick.

The best Pret a Manger I have ever, ever been to. Hands down. All the same great Pret food, but with the most AMAZING staff ever. They have fun. They have fun with you, they have fun with each other, they get it done, they communicate clearly, they joke appropriately, and I just love the heck out of them. Red hot falafel wrap is my go-to favorite here, but I also do love the nicoise salad. Yum. And love.
