I’ve gone into this store a couple times to try out new sunglasses. I never ended up purchasing a pair from here but regardless the gentleman who works there is super friendly and welcoming. I don’t know his name off the top of my head but he’s been there both times during lunch hours on the weekdays. He was honest with me and the style of glasses and recommended new pairs too! He definitley helped my decision and I would go back anytime.

Insane incompetence, all the way to the top level employees. I had to go here FOUR times to make a basic return. The first time, I was told their computer was not processing returns. I was told to come back in about a week. I followed instructions, but when I returned, I was told that the computer still was not processing returns. I then tried to return the sunglasses via mail but received them back in the mail about two weeks later sans original packaging. So, I returned to the store a third time. An associate stopped me in the front to grill me about the return instead of bringing me back to the counter to get it started. I stood in the front digging through my briefcase to find the sunglasses and receipt while I answered her questions before she permitted me to walk through to the back so she could find the manager. The assistant store manager Julissa came out, asked me for the original packaging which I no longer had, then spent about 25 minutes trying to process the return. I was the only customer in the store throughout all of this. It was becoming increasingly uncomfortable because the door was open, it was a hot and humid day, and there was no air conditioning in the store. After I asked a few times, she called the store manager who tried to walk her through how to use the computer, but to no avail. She said she would call me later that day when the manager made it in to the store since she could not figure it out. Since she did not call, and the telephone number on the website is a non-working Arizona number, I went back a fourth time. Julissa acted surprised when I confronted her about not calling and said that the store manager was supposed to call me. This time, store manager Teo was there. When I asked him about the call, he blatantly lied. He said he called and left a voicemail, but when I pressed him about it, he said he must have dialed a wrong number. All the while, I was following up with the Sunglass Hut call center. I spent a considerable amount of time trying to complete this return in a reasonable way. The call center had no record of where my sunglasses were when they were in Sunglass Hut’s possession. They could not explain why Sunglass Hut kept the original box even though original packaging is required to return sunglasses. The call center tried to follow up with the Broadway store location to school them on how to use their computer… but could not reach them because the telephone number on the website is an out of service number from Arizona. The moral of the story is: avoid the headaches. There are a lot of other stores in the area that sell sunglasses, train their employees on how to use the computer/register, and have a basic level of professionalism.
