This is your standard Irish pub that has happy hour. It was clean. I have nothing more to say.

Passed by this place and gave it a try since I was starving and didn’t feel like walking anymore. The service was okay. not spetaculaor nor was it horrible, just average. Ordered the chicken parmesan, I found it a little pricy for the portion I received. At least they provided free bread.

Burger was under cooked, then a little over cooked. Restaurant is very nice inside and waitstaff was down to earth and friendly. I would go back, but wouldn’t go out of my way to do so.

Great food on the coldest day of the year, staff was very welcoming, very accommodating, and the place had a wonderful atmosphere. Very clean, and authentic. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, the prime rib sandwich, crab cakes, and chicken skewers. Looked like gourmet food, tasty! Warm! Wonderful! Will be coming back soon :)

Really decent! We got mixed up and couldn’t find the place we wanted to go for my sister in laws birthday dinner and somehow on a very cold night we ended up here instead. It’s a small bar with a restaurant in the back. We had the stroller(with detachable car seat) and they managed to get us into their only corner booth which worked perfectly. We kept the stroller up front and took our boy inside. The Christmas décor accented their Irish pub set up and it looked adorable. There were a lot of families there even at 9pm. The food was really good. A delicious burger(too small for hubbys taste), cooked to perfection. We added jalapeños and jack cheese which was great. My sister in law had the filet mignon with polenta and my mother in law had the vegetable burger. They both enjoyed their dishes. For an appetizer we shared the crab cake(they claimed it was good, it was only one) and the chicken skewers which were a decent portion and just okay. Chicken was cooked perfectly but they were bland even with the sauce. What shocked us in a good way was their dessert. They had 4 options(not a good start), and we chose the chocolate moose cake. It was actually really good!

My gf & I needed to use the restroom after a long day of shopping so we came in here. But after all we decided to rest & have a drink since we got nothing to do. So we order 2 martinis and I got the dirty one & my gf got the fruited one. For some reason hers came out really artificial sweet & nasty. So I decided to tell the waitress that she didn’t like her drink & the waitress said«oh we can exchange you for a different drink«. Long story short we would think the word exchange means we shouldn’t get charge for the 3rd drink but instead they charged us & the bartender(so called the manager was being super rude to us). it’s not our fault that drink taste like crap & maybe they shouldn’t use the word exchange & took away our full drink & charged us for the 3rd drink. Totally tricked us ! I don’t appreciate the way how the management handle the situation. It’s not even about the money it’s all about the principle. The worst costumer service ever ! I don’t know how this place would let that man manage this place. I usually hardly write bad reviews but I’m really upset with this situation. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Unless you want nasty drinks with bad service & rude management.

Great place to pop in for a drink! Bartenders are friendly and great selection of liquors and lagers! Be warned! It gets packed!

This place isn’t the best but also isn’t the worst of NYC pubs. I wondered in here with my best friend on the same day as the H&M X Balmain Press Release. We had to use the bathroom really bad and figured hey why not go to that pub. But once we stopped in the staff was so friendly what we decided to stay. I was hungry and best friend convinced herself she could use a glass of wine anyways! I asked for a menu and wasn’t impressed by the options. Our server convinced us that the Spinach and Artichoke Dip was tasty so we put in a order of that and 2 glasses of wine. We enjoyed ourself but probably wouldn’t return.

Nice clean Irish bar. Great food and drinks. Owner met us at the door and daughter had been the waitress. I would go back.

Exceedingly overpriced, this restaurant adds insult to injury by serving bulimic portions. The cube of steak on my plate looked as if it were a butcher’s afterthought! My accompanying french fries were haphazardly strewn onto a garage-sale plate and elicited as much excitement as a public school lunch! This pub is an awful tourist trap which, I imagine, has only existed this long because of the authenticity lent by an Irish waitstaff.

Hard to find a good eatery in this part of uptown that’s not over priced or just burgers. We loved the food and atmosphere. Service was also excellent and priced well

Eh, the food here was just decent. We were served quickly but the waitress did not seem particularly invested in informing the chef that we had a nut allergy in our party. The vegetarian options are pretty limited so I ended up ordering the pasta with garlic cream sauce and vegetables(without chicken) and it came with a few florets of steamed broccoli and some shaved carrots on top. The sauce was incredibly bland, really just tasted like a plain white sauce over pasta. Not something I would order again. The atmosphere is decent but our waitress seemed really cranky and we could hear her arguing with other waitstaff. Definitely way overpriced for what the food is.

Service is awful and slow, but what’s worse is the food. Ordered a tuna melt and received the most disgusting thing I’ve seen in a restaurant. Wouldn’t recommend this place even to my worst enemy.

Normally, I do not write reviews. However, I had such a terrible experience there a couple of days ago, I decided that I need to warn people. First of all, the service was rude, and they have this stupid rule where every person must buy an entrée, and if you want to split one, you have to pay $ 6 for no extra food — just to split an entrée. Furthermore, the food was decent at best. I was in a party of 6, and only one person actually got something they thought was good. We paid $ 20 a meal for food I would be unhappy paying $ 10 for. Do not recommend. In fact, I recommend against going here.

Since my initial review this place has become a frequent place to stop by for drinks. Depending on what time u Stop by it can be a bit crowded specially on days when there is some sort of major sports event going on. Any other time it’s usually not terrible to find a place to sit or stand, u can always just take a regular seat in the back. Decent Apple Martinis, Raspberry vodka & Cranberry not bad sometimes can be a bit too much with the juice depending on the bartender. Jack & Diet ok & of course can’t go wrong with some Stella beer. On the food Fries are not bad, kinda of a small serving. Wings & Things good to share, comes with Chicken wings good, Good Mozzarella Sticks & Potato skins w bacon & cheese. Decent beef sliders & Bacon cheeseburger. We usually sit in the bar area, service is good prices id say are a bit pricey on the food. Best part Glad they offer a happy hour now, makes for more frequent visits.

Traditional Irish pub in the middle of Manhattan. I had a nice experience here. I popped in for a quick drink while waiting for my girlfriend to run some errands in the neighborhood. The atmosphere was nice. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the beer was cold and fresh. It was a bit pricey($ 8.00 for a Smithwicks & $ 11.00 for a couples of sliders) but not outrageous for the area. I liked it and would be back again if I was in the area and craving some Irish pub food.

Hold on. Wait. Do you mean to tell me that a $ 15.95 burger doesn’t come with cheese? That for a slice of cheese you must tack on an additional $ 2.50? Over $ 18 for a cheeseburger with a handful of fries. I know what you must be thinking: this burger was prepared by a celebrity chef and is one of those«when in NYC» things. Negative, my dear readers. Those 18 bones are for a typical«nothing special about it» pub burger. I understand that I’m in an Irish Pub in midtown, but come on! That is sheer robbery. And if you maybe wanted to share a dish if you’re not that hungry, prepare to drop another $ 6. At least I can get a cold draft beer to wash it all down. Sure! Unless you wanted any Sam Adams, Hoegaarden, Blue Moon, or Harp. They’re out. I’m leaving two stars instead of one simply because the atmosphere was nice, the staff friendly, and the burger wasn’t bad(but again, no where NEAR $ 18). Hey tourists and locals trying to feed tourists you’re attached too! Keep going east to 2nd avenue. Don’t fall into this overpriced trap.

Two of us walk in from sightseeing in the snow to get warmed up. It’s was busy last Sunday night & we get the last two open seats at the bar. Real Irish bartenders at this Irish pub, nice touch. It’s pricey due to its prime location, I’ll post a pic of our receipt! The soup was good, I think we had the minestrone. They had three tvs along the bar, I’d guess 32−36″ w football playing. Service was decent, prices above average & the soup was good.
