Ordered on grub hub and it arrived 28 mins late and taste is horrid. Save yourself some heartache and Don’t order from here. @Grubhub was NOT helpful either.

So here’s the story. 4:28PM: Placed my order and got a confirmation email. Seamless told me the delivery should be here latest within 45 minutes. 5:30PM: I called to make sure they hadn’t forgotten about me. The guy on the phone told me the delivery guy was out with my pizza and should be at my place within 10 – 15 minutes. 6:00PM: Walked four flights down to get some fresh air and hopefully see the delivery guy(by this time my stomach was audibly grumbling) 6:10PM Still nothing. I call again. I’m told that the delivery guy is making several deliveries at once and«should be here any minute» 6:20PM: I go back upstairs and munch on cereal. 6:30PM: Doorbell rings. At this point I’m seriously debating whether or not I should tip. But I do it anyway out of the good of my heart. I open the box, which says«Fresh, Hot, Delicious,» and I’m presented with a slightly larger version of Celeste instant pizza, lukewarm at best. I’m mostly surprised the size… I ordered an Extra-Large, and it’s maybe 13″ in diameter, and ¼ the thickness of a normal composition notebook… Now if the pizza just gives me food poisoning, it’ll be the perfect disaster story. Overall Impression: Highly irritated. Makes Dominos look gourmet. Next time I think I’ll just save myself some money and grief and just get a couple of frozen pizzas from the local grocery…

I rarely rate food in NYC because most of the restaurants in town have their act together. Using Grubhub, we decided to order one of the most common sandwiches, a Turkey Club, and see how they would take on their Indian fare with their«Palok Paneer»(I think their spelling is off on that one, and that should’ve been my cue). After the meal arrived(on time), we opened to find most of the indian food leaking out of it’s container(an aluminum meal pan with a paper top… really? for a saucy dish like this?). The dish came with the Aloo Gobi smushed and pretty much just mixed in with the Palok Paneer, making the dish an unrecognizable, disgusting mess. We tried it, and pretty much threw it out. It’s like these guys took a bunch of oil, and heated up some of their old, frozen leftover vegetables, and made us something on the fly, calling it «Indian enough to be classified as Indian food.» Now I’m gonna talk about the Turkey Club. $ 4.99, cheap for today’s usual restaurants, and I’m going to learn my lesson from today. I ordered the sandwich on Ciabatta, it came on a hero(come on, how can you mess this sh*t up.), the tomatoes were cut like thick chunks instead of slices, and the bacon… wasn’t even really bacon. They were soft, wet slabs of meat that looked like bacon. Not crispy, not even salty. The turkey? Listen folks, all you get are two THIN slices of turkey meat. Even at $ 4.99, it’s a complete rip off. Oh, and we ordered our meal with a Dr. Pepper. They just threw in a Pepsi. It’s like they weren’t even looking. I guess they can’t bear to check out what’s in the bag before they send it off, like some ugly, disgusting animal their putting down, and giving off to their customer. These guys aren’t gonna last long. Management seems to have lost it’s game. I guess that goes to show you really can make a crappy sandwich when your store seems to promote(like crazy!) that it’s called«The Pizza Guys». After reading the rest of the reviews, it seems like they haven’t even gotten that down! Burnt bread! Missing items! This place is a riot!

If you enjoy Ellios Pizza but in the triangle version for the price of $ 1 then you have found the perfect place! This place is a nice quick bite to eat and the people that work there are very friendly. They always greet you with a nice smile and a friendly hello.

This place is the worst !!! This pizza is disgusting. But you pay a dollar for it. You get what you paid for. The place next to it that sells Indian food. Tandoori is even worse. How can you order from there and they microwave the food and it is still cold !!! The combo come comes with a house salad and just watching it was sad !! The best thing i ordered was the diet coke in the can. It was very cold in the fridge !! The place gets one star because the fridge works where it keeps the drinks cold. Do not go there !!!

Dollar pizza? How can you be mad at that! I like Pizza Guys, clean, friendly people and the pepperoni pizza is my favorite!

I’m reading the reviews and, in my mind all I can think is… «damn, most people just love to complain.» I have been living in this neighborhood all of my life and have mixed feelings about the obvious gentrification that is happening in Hamilton Heights. But, either way, how can you complain about cheap and affordable pizza? It’s awesome to grab something on the go when you’re on your way to a bar, party or when you are seriously trying to stick to a budget. Also, I love Pizza Guys when it comes to having gatherings + parties at my place. I rather spend $ 11.00 + tips on a large pie, with toppings, than $ 20 + tips from Papa Johns(which I think it’s closed and has terrible service)… My point is, Pizza Guys is clean, convenient and, the staff has always been very nice and friendly. I think sometimes people get on Unilocal and just want to hear their voices and find something wrong with every establishment. Using your common sense and logic, for a dollar how can any pizza taste bad?

This pizza was like the kid’s pizza they’d serve at bowling alleys in the late 80s. My husband was okay with it, but it wasn’t for me.

I’m surprised about all the bad reviews – there thin crust pizza is by far the best pizza I’ve been able to get delivered in the neighborhood! Is it gourmet? No, but it’s tasty, and it doesn’t make me sad I bothered to order pizza, like most places around here. We’ve also tried the chicken nuggets(my kids approved) and the pasta(which I wouldn’t recommend – it was super bland). I haven’t ordered a lot yet, but so far delivery has been fast and there have been no problems. I’m bummed we didn’t discover this place until right before we’re about to move!

Ordered combo special-medium pizza, Parmesan bites, cheesy bread, & soda for $ 12.99. Took FOREVER to arrive(was a Friday night at 11:15pm). Parmesan bites were disgusting and burnt. Tossed all of them away & they didn’t even come with sauce. Cheese bread was delish & came with marinara sauce. Awesome if you have post partying munchies. Pizza came hot, cheesy, & not squished. I paid $ 2 more for stuffed crust & there was barely any cheese in crust. Will I reorder? Probably. A medium pizza is usually at least $ 14bucks. With this you get a medium pizza, cheese bread, soda, AND(burnt crusty) Parmesan bites. Still a cheapo deal. Especially if you’ve been drinking some brewskis & need a cheesy carb load. However, the only reason I got this crap is because Papa Johns was closed & Dominoes is disgusting. Price is great tho! But it’s hit or miss with this one.

Wanted to order a large thin crust pizza — they didn’t have thin crust in that size, so offered us two mediums at the same price. Good move. This has become our go-to pizza place in the neighborhood. The pizzas are quite good, although they messed up my roomie’s buffalo chicken pizza recently(no buffalo sauce, but they did send some over when she called to complain). Haven’t had problems ordering, but mostly do so online through . We’re happy so far! Loved the Cheesy bread too.

I was happy to see this new pizza place crop up in the neighborhood, but just ordered delivery from these folks today for lunch and am severely disappointed. They were rude over the phone when taking my order, overcharged us, and the pizza itself was poor quality(the $ 1 pizza shops are 10x better than this!). Much better off ordering dominos or papa johns around here.
