First time at Patsy’s pizzeria and I have to admit it’s one of the best pizzas I have had in a while. The crust, sauce, pepperoni, and I believe it was mind went so well, so simple yet so tasty. Well I honestly believe it was that brick oven. Now, I will say that service was slow and our waitress wasn’t so attentive, she did asked us how the pizza was but before I answered she had already turned her back. Although I think that pizza made up for that. I would recommend this place.

The best pizza on the UWS! Very fresh, quality ingredients. The majority of «famous» pizzerias in this neighborhood are like a cheap Costco pizza with so called mozzarella cheese, not here! Loved the pizza at Patsy’s. Definitely stop by here. Great service too!

Great pizza, great salad, and a great group dining experience. I came here for dinner for 7 on a Saturday night at 7pm, and the restaurant was easily able to handle our party size. I’m giving it four stars instead of five because the A/C was on full blast and I was freezing, plus the restaurant décor itself was nothing special, but other than that it was a great restaurant. I definitely recommend it for last-minute group dinners on the UWS.

Patsy’s if I wanted a dry, sauceless, tasteless, effortless pizza I would’ve bought something in the frozen section. Do yourself a favor and send the pizza guy over to Fairway because we expect better from you.

This pizza serves our delivery need very well. The large size pie is a good deal and enough for the two of us. Good Italian style crust, good tomato and mozzarella base and the. Start adding ingredients if you like. We prefer to keep it simple and the large margarita is a steal for the money. Note, we never ate at the restaurant which looks spacious and family style, but nothing special to entice us to eat away from home.

Solid food, delicious artisanal pizzas, pastas and salads. We love the large cheese pizzas with garlic and sausage, Insalata Siciliana, and Penne alla Vodka. Always a winner with the family and groups of friends.

Always heard about the Harlem location but stopped today in this spot near the park. Party of 7 for lunch. Pizza was just ok I have to say. Good potential but kind of soggy. Server was also just ok, little inattentive at the wrong times, had to ask for drinks twice. Not terrible, better than your average pizza joint but nothing to write home about.

Pizza is incredible. Pepperonis are small and thick and tasty. Fried zucchini was so good: comes with a yogurt sauce that was interesting and great. Calamari was very good too!

SOGGY Pizzas. two of them, put me off of this place. The Parma with spaghetti(one of those odd combinations) was OK. The shrimp and the crumbed sole were also ‘ok’ but not worth trying again.

Pizza is oven-baked. It was good. You make your own pizza for an additional $ 2.79 per topping on top of the $ 18 – 21(13″ or 21″). Service is ok. Nothing spectacular. We also got pasta that had absolutely no taste. Also, no refills on softdrinks. Waitress made us wait over 20 minutes for our check. Thumbs down.

They have amazing food, and great service. The pizza is delicious, and the house salads dressing is very good.

I wish I could give ZERO stars! I’ve been to this restaurant once before and it was good, so I decided to have my daughters 2nd birthday there(yesterday). There were 10 of us, so we did it at 3:00pm, so they could easily accommodate us. The service started out just fine, but once our waitress went on break things started to fall apart. We ended up with 3 different waitresses who clearly didn’t communicate with the other. When it came time to clear the table from dinner, only the dinner plates were taken. We were still left with a table full of glasses, bread plates, silverware, etc. We had to ask 4 times to have everything cleared. We were sitting in the back near the restroom and that is where the manager stands to watch over everything. He saw everything and did nothing. HERE’S THEBIGONE: After the main course most of us were taking turns waiting online for the restroom. I specifically asked one of our waitresses to wait until everyone was back before bringing out the cake. I was the last to go to the restroom. I COULDHEARTHEMSINGINGHAPPYBIRTHDAYWHILE I WASWASHINGMYHANDS! Needless to say I was livid and blasted the waitress for that. Who serves the cake when the MOTHER isn’t present? Standard practice and common sense dictate that a table be asked before the cake is brought out. Not here! They just assumed and brought the cake out whenever they felt like it! Then, for 10 people, they brought out 3 forks, 7SPOONS and ZERO cake plates. That’s right, zero, as in NO cake plates… for cake that was already sitting on the table. Yes, they did the candles and singing before the table was set and then couldn’t even bring the right stuff! When the check came we gave them a combination of cards and cash(I wrote the last 4 digits of each card with the amount they should charge on that card next to it to avoid confusion). We were supposed to get back $ 10.65 cash. I was going to add to that to leave a 20% tip. They never brought the cash change. The manager looked right at me and I motioned to him to come over and he ignored me, so I said«Excuse me!» loudly so he would hear me. He finally came over. When I asked for the change he didn’t respond at all. He did get the waitress to come over and she gave me the change. In the end I left what came to a 14.5% tip(again, I normally leave at least 20%, but I’ve been a waitress and this was unacceptable). I should have let her keep the $ 10.65, since that is all she thought they were getting(and for good reason). My husband’s chair was broken. He didn’t realize that, so about 20 minutes into the meal he toppled over onto the floor into a wet spot. They switched his chair and hung the coats up in the front for us(we piled all the coats on the 3 chairs because we had one round table and 3 square tables with booth seating on one side. Odd arrangement, but we made it work). When we went to leave a few of us couldn’t find our coats initially and the manager was nasty about it. The waitress are very sweet, but need to inform one another of happenings if they take each other’s tables. They also need to think before they do things. The bus boy was too over worked, so we had ask for table clearing, napkins and water over and over to get anything done. The manager was just plain useless! NO, I WILLNEVERBEBACKTHEREAGAIN! On the back of the check I wrote: You were supposed to bring my cash change! Unless you only want an $ 11 tip. Get it together! & don’t sing happy birthday without the mother present!

Patsy’s, we love you, but what happened? You used to have the best pepperoni in the city. Now, it’s just like everyone else’s pepperoni. We are huge fans but have been disappointed in the quality of ingredients lately. Help us come be your customers again.

Patsy’s may be a chain but it serves damn good New York pizza — thin crust, good cheese to sauce ratio. It may not be the best pizza in New York, but it’s consistent and reliable. One odd tip — any time we’ve gotten the smaller pie, it’s been not as good as the larger pie — so go big or go home. The other dishes here are solid as well with a very home-cooked Italian family style vibe. I especially like the classic baked ziti as well as penne a la vodka. For a casual, classic carb fest on the upper west side, Patsy’s is the way to go.

3.5 stars is about right for this place. Their pizza crust is good, they use fresh mozzarella, a big plus, but the toppings lack flavor and beer glasses are kind a small for draft. great atmosphere. for dudes-who-cant-count-stars-in-pizzeria-reviews, 3 stars means«pretty good» and I’ll come back to this place.

Not only did the pizza arrive more than 1 hr late, but it also arrived cold. Just what I wanted when I decided to spend $ 20+ for a premium small pie. Patsy’s has really gone downhill lately. I used to be the biggest fan of their sausage pizza but now, I definitely know better pizza places in this city… ones who deliver hot pizza in a timely manner.

Oh Patsys. You are the one sit down pizza place that has managed to maintain a local patronage, tourists, and doesn’t strive to be the pizza of the month(a la grimaldis, etc). Ill echo the many reviews here and say that service is hit or miss. One time i was there it took about 25 minutes to get the bill after we were finished eating but the waitress was running around like chicken with her head cut off that she never checked with us. Another time, we had a waitress switch mid meal(shift change?). The pizza is alright. I personally prefer shredded moz on my pizza rather then fresh moz. Fresh moz is too soggy and makes the pizza crust soggy and unstable. One of the tests of a NYC slice, is that that you should be able to hold it horizontal without it drooping while hot. You cannot do this with a patsys slice unless you do some serious pizza folding. They dont offer any special pizzas and toppings can really add up at $ 4 a pop. So a large pizza(20″) with 2 toppings will run you $ 28 plus tax and tip. But if you are in the area and looking for a moderately priced meal with sit down service, grab a pie and a side at patsy’s. It’ll do the trick

Patsy’s used to be one of my favorites thirteen years ago when I first lived here in Manhattan and now it is again after trying them out recently. We got a margherita pie to go and it was every bit as delicious as I remembered. Even the leftovers that I reheated and ate two days later were damn good! I’ll have to come back here and dine in.

I absolutely LOVE Patsy’s! Everytime I go I get a pie and a large salad. Their salads are amazing, I am not a big salad guy but I find myself craving their every once in a while. The only con is that they can get pretty busy and at times service will be a little slow. But considering the food they have earned every one of the five stars I gave them.

Food was everything Patsy’s lives up to… EXCEPT the service wasn’t on point like the East Harlem restaurant. Server wasn’t rude, but I guess they were just rushing to get home. We came in at 10 minutes to 11 and were one of the last people in the place. Restaurant closes at 12, no need to rush and not give us the usually good service. Will let it slide this time. Am just thinking it was a bad day. Still love Patsy’s
