Other then the salad I won’t be dining there again the pasta was not worth the name I give it a 1 star only because I couldn’t give them half of one

Gross food. Nauseous. Microwaved. Horrible dressings and sauces. Stay away. New York has amazing Italian food. This is not the one to visit.

Decent food but extremely slow service. I think they completely forgot about our order. They’re short staffed.

It’s been 7 years since I been to pasta lovers, but the food here is great! The service was great as well. As you know when you dine in the city the wait to many restaurants can be long, but when I walked into this spot I was sitting within minutes and enjoyed an amazing authentic Italian dinner. I will defiantly be planning to go into the city just to re-visit this place very soon!

The good: The people that were with me enjoyed their meals — the pizza special with broccoli rabe, sausage and hot red peppers and the lasagna bolognese. Had a pre-theater reservation and our table was ready when promised. The bad: Stale rolls. Disinterested wait staff. Nobody took a drink order. Seemed more interested in getting us out even though the place cleared out as people left for their shows. Had the pasta with chicken and broccoli. Chicken was rubbery. Tasted like it was frozen and reheated. Had better at our local pizza place. Overall this was an average meal and bad service for above average prices. With all of the options in midtown Manhattan, we’ll avoid this one in the future.

Nice atmosphere, great service, and clean, including the ladies room. The calamari and Caesar salad were excellent. The sauce served with the calamari was wonderful so we were really disappointed when the spaghetti sauce wasn’t very tasty and the lasagna didn’t have enough sauce and believe it or not, too much cheese. We won’t be back.

The pizza was really good, fresh ingedients, sauce tasted great as well as the crust. However the crust was a little. thin in the middle and could not handle the sauce and was very soggy. Was really dissapointed to be charged for a refill on my iced tea, 3.50 should certainly come with a refill.

Uuuuuuuh… Really, by American standards, not that good. More like frozen food. Quantity, fat and sugar, no taste at all. I think I got pastas. Place ok, service ok. Prices: too high for what you get and about the price a regular meal in New York. A few of my colleagues went there for the happy hour, but I think you can go somewhere else. Or try it just once, but not for food.

If you’re looking for good Italian food and a menu that has something for everyone on your party than this is the place. Located on 49th street near Radio City Music Hall this is the perfect place to go when seeing I show or visiting Rockefeller Plaza with family and friends. The atmosphere is casual yet really nice for the holidays very festive. It’s family-friendly with a large selection of menu items from brick oven pizzas, pastas even steak and fish. They have a full bar and dessert menu. Prices are fair for the quality of the food and the portion sizes that you receive. During the busy holiday season it’s highly recommend that you make reservations advance. OpenTable is a great resource for making reservations advance.

The pizza is outstanding. Had the chicken parm pizza. Cooked in a wood fired brick oven. The sauce and mozzarella made the pie. The sauce tasted fresh and homemade and the mozz was perfect. Would return for the pizza. Service was mediocre at best but kind of to be expected in NY. Would recommend this place though. Didn’t try the pasta dishes but they looked good. $ 14-$ 30 price range.

We ate vegetable pasta, it was nice but not too good. And tomato sauce pasta that was really good. Pizza was 6⁄10. The service is good and an old atmosphere.

I came here for dinner by myself one night while on a business trip. I was initially a bit turned off, because the host ignored me and a waiter had to come seat me but then once I was seated, it was fine. The waiter was very nice and took my order pretty quickly. My appetizer — insalata caprese — came out very fast. It had very fresh burrata, and was very good. Warm rolls were also served on the table. They had good flavor, but maybe a bit to crispy/flakey. And then, I waited. And waited, and waited for my dinner. The people who were sitting next to me and who were seated about 10 minutes after me, order, received and finished their meal, before I even received my main course. I have never had to ask if my meal was going to arrive any time soon at a restaurant before, but I did here. When it finally did arrive — chicken parm — it was a very good sized portion and tasted good. I enjoyed it a lot. The food here was really good and the only reason I didn’t bump this up to 4 stars is for the slow food and weird host situation. There is also a little bit of a weird bar vibe here too and it makes the space very loud, as I was alone, it wasn’t much of a problem, but if I was with someone else, it might have been hard to hear them and have a conversation.

This place looked a little fancy from the outside but was nice, casual and comfortable on the inside. Wonderful food and the dessert was unbelievable. We had freshly made cannolis with a mixture of drizzled chocolates. The presentation was impeccable. Highly recommended.

Seating area was nice and we were seated right away. Salads were decent. Pizza(Buffalo Chicken) was not good. Little flavor and generally disappointing. Most of all the service was terrible. How long should it take to get a coke… Not 15 minutes when the restaurant is near empty… This happened again when it came to get the check… Come on. Soda is not free refill and is $ 3.50 a piece. I do not recommend this place.

To say that this place is a bit of a hole in the wall from the outside is an understatement. It blends in with the Thai, Indian and Japanese places that surround it. But once you step inside, you’re greeted with an atmosphere that boldly states«upscale». The front room is dedicated to just grabbing a quick slice or having a few cocktails. Once you step upstairs, an elegant dining room greets you that’s flanked by large, expansive mirrors and wine bottles in the other wall. My girlfriend and I ordered a crab cake to start while I had an extra sausage pizza and she had the grilled salmon. The crab cake was perfection, topped with a salad of sorts and everything just blended together into a masterpiece. Every bite of the food was sublime. Heaven followed every chew and it made us want more. The salmon was done to PERFECTION and the cold salad underneath was new and different for us, but very refreshing and delicious. The pizza was bliss, simply put. The fresh mozzarella that covered the pie, the just right amount of tomato sauce, the thin and perfect New York style crust, the perfectly seasoned sausage… I was just blown away. The surprise at the end was the carrot cake. It is SO rare to order a slice of carrot cake without walnuts in it, but they have it! Every bite was perfectly blended with nutmeg and cinnamon and nirvana. Yes, nirvana. We even had to take another slice home after dinner! And to top it all off, our server Miguel has to be the best server we’ve ever had at ANY restaurant. Friendly, courteous, funny, just a pleasure to be around. Ask for him, trust me! In all, I’m glad we happened upon this while looking for sushi. Yeah, started with sushi and ended up with possibly the best Italian restaurant near or in the Theater District.

A friend and I found this place by accident after staying at a hotel very close by. We just wanted a pasta dish and sometimes with all the restaurants in NYC, you can easily get overwhelmed. The hotel recommended this, and off we went. Truth is, we weren’t expecting much, but we knew we could get what we had been craving. Surprisingly, the spaghetti bolognese was some of the best we’ve ever had. I have no idea what I had been eating from childhood until now, but this set a new standard to meat sauce, it was that good. On subsequent visits, I have been back and I have yet to be disappointed. It’s a decent standby, and I always know what I’m in for. The only thing that has changed over the years is the obvious: price. My goal here is to actually finish my meal since I always end up leaving a little more than I’d like. I know people may complain how it’s not authentic Italian food, well I guess I don’t like authentic Italian food then.
