I was Miss USA last year and lived close by. I can’t believe that I didn’t end up here at some point last year, but I’m so glad that I’ve found it now! The lounge is beautiful. I had a great bartender named Joey, he was fun, and outgoing, and made everyone at at the bar feel welcome! I hope he is there every time I go! He also made my drink and it was beautiful, topped with a purple flower and everything! He is great and the drink was amazing!

We loved this place! My wife and I had drinks and a bite to eat at the bar and had a blast the other night. If you are lucky then you will have Joey Russo bar tending when you are there! I ordered a drink not on the menu and usually have to tell bartenders how to make it and he knew exactly what I wanted and it tasted amazing! Not to mention we were fully entertained by his personality the whole time. Had us constantly laughing and made us feel so welcome.

Love this place! We came by recently for cocktails before seeing a show. A bartender named Joey served us and was amazing! And on top of that we recognized him. He was in our favorite movie! He played Joe Pesci In Jersey Boys! so cool! we will definitely be back soon!

Great cocktail selection and ambient atmosphere after extensive shopping. Variety of small-plate choices to choose from for the menu. We tried their cheese plate and it was excellent. Gorgeous view of Columbus circle while you relax with your drink!

Note to self: This is a «lounge» and not a cocktail bar or speakeasy. I was curious about their cocktails since their list was very long and some sounded interesting, but this place is NOT a place to have well-crafted cocktails. Not at all. The décor is fancy with bling look to it, which I translate it to gaudy. Yes, there are big windows to enjoy the nice view. Besides high stool and tables & chairs, there are many big sofas and ottoman seats. The hostesses and waitresses are nice and courteous but are all in very short, body-hugging dresses. So we realized this place was for men clientele(and tourists), which made sense for the décor, price, and lack of quality in food and cocktails that sounded fancy on the menu w/gimmicky words and ingredients.(Notice majority who give high ratings on this place are men. haha) My drink($ 19) was the worst I’ve had, and my friend’s was just OK. I don’t mind high prices for quality food and drinks, but you’re basically paying $$$ only for the view and location at this place. We were there early 730pm on Friday and it was only 30% full. The music wasn’t loud, but it was more electronic music w/thumping beat. So if it got any bit louder, it’d add it to this club-like atmosphere.(I did see a small space for dancing.) We went to another place to re-do our cocktails in a better place. We didn’t have to go far to find a more classy spot.

Had a corporate party at Parkview Tavern May 4th. Maria was one of our servers. She was the best. She was attentive, friendly, helpful, and went out of her way to give suggestions for wine and drinks as well as bringing me food at the reception area. Maria is a breadth of fresh air and one of the best servers I have had at any event.

This is the new incarnation of what was once Stone Rose Lounge. Stone Rose was one of my favorite bars in the city, and for my demographic(older 20s to mid 30s) Parkview is a step in the wrong direction in almost every way. First, the good. Aesthetically, Stone Rose represented everything I picture when I think«new york lounge». It was probably one of the most beautiful places to drink in the city. Parkview still has the same aesthetic, and is apparently being redone to make it more modern. So kudos there. Also, they still have their dance floor and DJ, which is a great touch. Now, the bad. First and most importantly, the drink menu went way downhill at the same overpriced 17 – 19 dollar price range. No more lounge-appropriate cocktails like a manhattan or jalapeño margarita. No — now you get gaudy, basic cocktails with fruit juice in EVERY option — drinks like the ‘sassy peach margarita’ or a manhattan/moscow mule hybrid(which for some absurd reason has strawberry juice in it, when neither the manhattan nor moscow mule contains ANY juice). There literally isn’t a drink on the menu that would appeal to someone who enjoys good or classic cocktails. Also, they got rid of the shuffleboard table; there was something magical about being at a super classy bar and being able to play shuffleboard. It made the place fun and appealed to a younger crowd. What’s insane is it doesn’t seem like the place is any roomier or higher-capacity for the change. All this has led to a noticeable downfall in the crowd. Back in the day the typical Stone Rose crowd was a mix of people of all ages and types/styles. I’ve gone on Friday or Saturday nights a few times since the switch, and it’s now full of old people and tourists. And full is being generous, it’s actually more like 80% empty. The vast majority of people who I would regularly go to stone rose with(think yuppie hipster 30 somethings) would never step foot in parkview again. I miss Stone Rose :(

So it DID use to be Stone Rose; I knew I’d been here before. Came for a free event with a friend that came complete with open bar & free food. We felt wealthy here. Decent looking guys but some trashy ladies with no sense of etiquette in the ladies room. Knocking louder won’t make the person using the bathroom stall finish any faster, capice? The view is awesome & I felt fine here.

My family recently went to Parkview over the holidays. During that time they are open up during the day for families. It was an amazing experience complete with aerial acrobatics and of course Santa. They had one of the most unbelievable photographers taking professional pictures with Santa. They were so patient and made sure all the kids were smiling and kept shooting until they got a great shot. They gave us a print out as well as emailed 3 digital images. It was such a special day for the kids as well as us. They even had a kids menu-grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, pizza, chicken fingers, hot chocolate and sundae bar! All so good I ate from the«kids» menu! Best part was that we could avoid the lines and mall Santas and have an authentic, enjoyable experience. We look forward to going back next year.

The old Stone Rose has rebranded, but not much has changed. The views are still good(during the day/dusk is the best time to go), the cocktails are still good(spicy margarita for the win!), and the prices are reflective of the part of the city that you’re in. Don’t go here expecting to get away cheap, but go here if you’d like a good cocktail or two, attentive service, decent people watching, and a great view.

Looking for a good spot to have cocktails near Columbus Circle, look no further. Great cocktails and a sexy vibe are the selling points here. You won’t be disappointed by the view of the circle and Central Park, they’re an extra added bonus.

Came here on Sunday afternoon but did not realize the Stone Rose Lounge had revamped so I was walking around the mall so confused and no one seemed to know where the«Stone Rose Lounge» was. Finally– ONCE I arrived with my friend visiting from the UK, I had a great time. It’s not for the frugal but the service and view are what you pay for. Jonathan, who I’m not sure was the GM or manager was so friendly and took time from his day to chat with us and help us take a photo. REALLYREALLYNICE and my friend visiting said«Best service I’ve received in NY and I will remember him». I work in hospitality and it truly is a a perception changing experience. Thanks Jonathan, I’ll be coming back more often!

Beautiful, fancy venue in Columbus Circle loaded with a lot of suits and dresses occupying the space. Drinks are expensive and people are dressed to impress. Great place to impress anyone.

Really nice waitress. They sat us in a perfect location with massive windows overlooking Columbus Circle. Drinks were good and the food was very tasty, although they were all small plates. Better than traditional bar food.

Brian Packin does it again. Seriously anything he touches turns into the hot spot and a ‘must go’ venue. Friendly with 48th lounge, another hotspot lounge, imagine the surprise when I come into Parkview(after being absent in NYC until our move here last year) and see that it’s changed from Stone Rose to Parkview run by Brian Packin. Such a small world. The drinks were strong and delicious, went down a bit too easy… the food is nicely appointed and tastes great for«lounge food». The hosts and cocktail servers were pleasant and not«business», but friendly and sweet. Take care of them and they will take care of you. Thank you Brian, so great to run into you here and we will definitely be returning! Cheers to neighbors!

Summary: This is the old Stone Rose in the Time Warner. Nice buzz so that you can talk without others hearing you. Great for business drinks or a holiday party. Atmosphere: This is a common, low risk choice for business drinks or for a date if you live on the West side. It’s perfect for business as you can get tables without too much ado. The vibe is loud enough that other will not easily eavesdrop, but quiet enough that you can hear each other. For dates, it really depends on where you sit and how dark you like your meeting spot. The bar is a bit brighter if you are on a first date and want to make sure that person looks like their picture… you know what I mean… Because most people first learn about this place because of work, choosing this location says, «I have a corporate job that occasionally involves entertaining people that will be judging me» or «I let my very competent admin pick this place.» Service: I love that the amazingly gorgeous Jamaican waitress who is a supremely friendly individual and a consummate professional who never lets on that she saw you here more than once in the last month on a date. If she could write a book. She knows the menu well and can offer up suggestions. Great vibe. Drinks: There is a reasonably good mixology selection for cocktails. Wines by the glass are appropriately pricey for the Time Warner Center and caters toward its crowd. You’ll have your Stalworth wine selections in White and Red, but nothing that makes you say«Oh…wow, they chose some unknown Portuguese or Spanish varietals.» Food: It’s bar food. Some of the better options: Roasted tomato & chorizo pizza — 4 stars. This has a nice flavor and is more of a flat bread than pizza. Meatballs — you can’t go wrong 4 stars Fish Tacos — Very average. needs some sort of kick-it-up a notch sauce.

The pros — big windows on 4th floor — so good view. The drinks were tasty The cons — basically empty at 8 pm — yet waited 15 minutes to get a drink. We ordered drinks and water and an app. The app arrives. We wait. Finally flag another server and ask for the waters at least. He brings those. Then the drinks finally show up. Waited forever to get the check — finally had to stand up — put on coats — etc. Maybe 15 people in the whole place — ridiculous. The décor is terrible. Can lights and ugly chandelier — not nearly enough low romantic lighting. The ugly chandelier casts a reflection on the windows so hard to see out. Kind of felt like we were in a cheap basement. Just ugly and overpriced and terrible service…
