Still scouting out cheep places near the hospital where i’m visiting my friend everyday. I chuckled over some of the rave reviews over chinese fast food. I did try the orange chicken which was good, tangy and not too greasy. Fried comfort food. And the brown rice was fluffy and not oiled which was good for me. They have 3 – 4 dishes to to choose from and the left side of the counter has ‘premium’ fast food. All in all it was ok, i don’t think a good value, small portions, try Shanghai a few blocks north, takeout with much better flavors and made to order.

Slightly expensive, but really good. I got the firecracker chicken which was very spicy and delicious. I had it with the fried rice which was predictable and I got the vegetable egg roll with teriyaki sauce which was also pretty good. Overall this was a great experience and I will most likely return.

This is a review for Panda Express’ catering/delivery experience. Waited 2 hours for a delivery order that never came and eventually had to pick up the food in person. Total time to receive the food from time of order: 3 hours. My coworkers and I usually love the food from here and order for take out 2 – 3 times a week. Today we were having a lunch meeting and decided to have the food catered. I called the store at 10:30 in the morning and asked them about their catering process and was told if I wanted to have it delivered, I would have to order through Seamless. I placed the order around 11:30am and the estimate delivery time stated our food would be delivered by 12:15. At 12:45, we still had not received our food so I made a call to Panda Express to ask for an update. I was told they were still working on our order and that it would be another 15 – 20 minutes. At 1:30, we still had not received our food so I made another call to Panda to check on the status. I was told they were still working on our order, even though the delivery guy from Seamless was waiting there already. I tried to get an estimate time for the delivery, but was only told they were working on it. I decided to go down to the store in person and when we got there, our food still was not ready. We asked how much longer it would take and the manager told us about 15 minutes. It must’ve taken them another 20 – 30 minutes before our food was done because by the time we got back to the office, it was 2:45pm and the lunch meeting was well over. Needless to say, we will not be ordering for catering from Panda Express again. Let this be a warning to all.

One of the reasons why I looove traveling is because I get to have Panda Express at the airport. Now there’s one just a few streets away?! All too exciting. I’m pleasantly surprised that this location isn’t overpriced compared to the rest, since that’s what NY seems to like doing with fast food chains. And the food is as good as I remember it to be from my last travel months ago. Of course on a snowy Jonas day like today, I felt like Panda Express(it’s comfort food, what can I say?) so I walked over, only to find that the store’s not open today :(I guess I won’t be having any of it today, but I’m looking forward to the next time I do… very soon!

Living only a few blocks from Panda Express, when it first opened I was eager to add it to my weekly restaurant rotation. However, I’ve noticed a few negatives worth noting for others based on when I’ve pick up food from there. I think these inconsistencies come down to one thing: the staff. I’ve had multiple wrong orders and differentiating portion sizes. The workers seem inequipped to handle an influx of people and appear very unorganized. I’ve found I need to double-check my order with them before I pay and leave, after an incident where my boyfriend and I got home and realized they only gave him fried rice and completely left out the main portion of his plate. We’ve also ordered a plate of beef and broccoli that had two meager pieces of beef in it, and was 90% fried rice. And just tonight, I ordered a size of veggies along with my plate and was ignored twice, and when I brought it to the worker’s attention for the third time I then had to wait several minutes because they had run out of the veggies in the meantime. Maybe they weren’t trained enough prior to opening? Regardless, I seem to leave irritated whenever I choose to pick up food from there. The food is very good at Panda Express, which is why I continue to give them my business, but I’ve come to expect my blood pressure to rise when I go to order and the lengthy process that comes with ensuring you have your correct food items.

Meh. This panda is stingy on the portion size. Appox $ 8 for a panda bowl, and you barely get any protein. I say take your money elsewhere. On the plus side, the staff seems friendly.

I’ve always been a fan of quick and delicious panda express dishes like orange chicken and walnut shrimp, this new location is no different when it comes to that! In that sense, I give it a 5⁄5 for food. However the staff is really disorganized and unable properly serve the lunch crowd. They don’t seemed to be properly trained and that caused a lot of confusion when I stepped up to order my food. They were talking to each other and not paying attention to the customers. Hopefully management is reading this correct this issue, I will not be visiting this location again.

Wow wow wow is all i can say. I only know this place from mall cafeterias. On the eastside theres lots of choices but food is so pricey. This place is soooooo good. Reasonably priced, food is super fresh, you can sample anything before buying and last but NOT least the staff is really really friendly. Its a real breath of fresh air when you come across a great restaurant with really great customer service. They just opened a couple of weeks ago and the line is always out the door but moves super fast. I hope they remain this great! I look forward to coming again. You must sample anything youre curious about. I tried some things that didnt look like i would like it but turned out to be a hit. Would highly recommend.

It’s hard to give a fast food place 4 stars, right? Wrong. This location may exemplify the new Panda Express. Granted it’s a new store, but it’s well-designed with a café-like seating area, trendy lights, and stream-lined menu. It looks clean, and the food is fresh-looking, coming out in nice large pans and shiny bowls. I was impressed. It did correlate a little with price, because it’s pretty expensive for fast Chinese food! The items are the same as in other places, but the batches made area smaller and taste fresher. Even the fried rice was good, with a great texture and not overly dry. The chicken with string beans was great, and so was the mushroom chicken. You get 3 size options. I just got the Plate, which gives you 2 entrees and rice/noodles. The Large Plate gets you one small container extra of an entrée, which I was tempted to do but didn’t. $ 9.50 for the Plate after taxes and without a drink or anything else.

The reason you go to a panda express anywhere is because there is a flavor you are familiar with that, from time to time, you just crave This panda express is no exception. The food is tasty and, in my opinion, not badly priced. I went later at night, so the quality and experience may be very different from lunch or dinner rush. The space is clean and employees come by to clean up frequently. My only complaint is the lack of pure vegetarian entrees: other pandas I’ve been to have at least one or two vegetarian friendly entrees, but this one has none. So my SO got left out of a much anticipated experience, to our mutual disappointment

«Meh. I’ve experienced better» sums it up perfectly. This is very typical fast Chinese food — on par with what you’d expect to find in a mall. Nothing special here, except for maybe the high prices. Overall, it’s not bad, just not exceptional. The serving size was decent, but not worth the $ 9+ for a plate at lunch. Especially when the ‘beef’ with broccoli came with just about no beef. If you want good Asian food, check out the Vietnamese place 2 blocks south.

Panda Express is essentially the«Chipotle» of Chinese food. Pretty good for a casual, quick bite if you’re in the mood for Americanized Chinese food. The building is brand new, so interior and seating is bright, clean and shiny. Their employees are friendly and the line moved pretty quickly. I had the plate option which includes two entrees and 1 side(I got the famous Orange chicken, chicken teriyaki, and fried rice). The Orange chicken is comparable to the general tso chicken I’ve eaten at real Chinese restaurants. There’s a bit too much breading to meat ratio, but this is expected at a fast casual place. The chicken teriyaki was a pleasant surprise — tender and flavorful and was cut in front of us. Fried rice was decent, but wasn’t anything special. Overall, a filling meal for under $ 10. Also, Hospital employees around the area get a 10% discount! Plus they offer to donate your rounded change to their pandacare charity.

I am so happy this opened up in my neighborhood. It will surely be a regular spot for the hospital employees nearby too. Great food, all their food looks bright and they got down that classic orange chicken recipe that I love. I believe Panda Express has really stepped up their game in terms of using quality, fresh ingredients. I believe their food is probably healthier than the other Chinese restaurants that I have been ordering from. My faves: fried rice, orange chicken, Beijing beef and sweet chili chicken There is a good amount of seating and the employees are extremely friendly.

First to review. In NYC, this is always a rarity. Panda Express has been a long waited arrival to the big city. And this one veritably doesn’t disappoint. Expect all the usual fixings for your tasty delight. Their fried rice is my go to. Yea, there is the super authentic and amazing Chinatown. But sometimes you want good Americanized cuisine that just reminds you of home. Welcome to Manhattan, Panda Express.
