I’m not a bar kinda guy, but I loved this place! We came here two days in a row and both of our Servers were great. I don’t recall the blonde ladies name, but she and Diane were very nice. We got the right amount of attention, our Guiness on tap was brought in good time and always with a smile. Not too many people were there which was nice. If it’s crowded I’m not sure how that can be construed as their fault, that’s just happenstance! My son and I both got the wings which were fantastic, even before we got buzzed! Wish they had a location near my home… maybe not because then I’d drink too much… Cheers!

Food was great. Group of three traveling for busineess and each had a different dish, all were wonderful! Service was not fantastic. Yes, we always had a drinks and our food came out on time, but the server was not kind and ran away before we could request or ask anything. She never smiled and really didn’t seem to be enjoying herself at all.

Excellent chicken pot pie for the pie connoisseur! Tasty creamy thick gravy with chunks of veggies, chunks of chicken & a supreme flaky crust. Service was outstanding. We sat at the bar & «Monica» was great. Very attentive, suggested good drinks & had an Ireland accent stronger than an irish car bomb! Bar was spacious, good authentic live music. Can’t wait to go back.

My first stop on my first NYC City trip. O’Reilly’s was a fun little sports bar with a casual atmosphere. There was a lot of locals which got me convinced that their food was going to be great. My boyfriend and I split the Fish ‘N Chips and cleaned the plate. Great service from the bartender who was attentive, yet not in our faces the whole time. Also, very strong drinks! :)

Quite overpriced and crammed. The bathrooms were clean and the mood was homey and festive. Would come back for a pint but not much more.

Came here with co workers for lunch, 8 of us in total. We were able to sit right away. Service was pretty good, like they were very attentive. The food was pretty decent, I mean I don’t usually expect much from Irish pubs but not too bad: D

Great Irish pub with music playing but not too loud. Staff is friendly and authentic. Had the pigs in a blanket and it was delicious. Small menu of drinks but they had everything I usually order so it was good. Did not go anywhere but the 1st floor and it was fine. The place is cool and well kept, definitely going back.

An average bar with a kind-of-cool ceiling at the bar area — different sized light bulbs everywhere! Other than that. meh. It was surprisingly not that full for a Friday — the bar area was about 50% taken and the bartenders were attentive as well. The bathrooms didn’t make me violently hurl. But, all in all, there wasn’t anything too impressive other than that I expected a completely atrocious bro bar and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t as disgusting. Their top shelf drinks aren’t on the cheap side but they seem to start happy hour early– huge plus for the funemployed and those playing hookie. It’s so close to K town so this might be a good spot for pre gaming before heading there. I actually only went bc we had about 20 mins to kill and found parking right in front.

I’ve walked past this place a bunch of times and so I added it to my list of places to try. When my co-workers and I were planning on going out for drinks, I suggested this place. My one co-worker said that it seemed like just another Irish pub but I went to bat for this place, saying that it had more character than the average. While that is true to a degree, it doesn’t stand out far beyond that. There were a few cool things on the menu, like a charcuterie board, but other than that it’s the usual bar food. The service was great and super attentive and the place doesn’t reek of bro-ness, which is also a plus. This place isn’t bad and it’s worth visiting, but it’s still just pretty standard.

I have been here several times. O’Reilly’s is not your typical Irish, or midtown, bar-restaurant. It’s more like a gem you discover off the beaten path, and share only with good friends. Except it’s a cocoon of warmth and good times in the heart of midtown. Go figure. First, you are warmly welcomed. Second, the space — both upstairs and downstairs — is beautiful. The service is excellent. They make sure you are happy. They really know how to treat customers and make them want to return. Good selection of brews, and properly made drinks. Now to the food. Absolutely delicious. I should mention I am a quietly fussy eater who usually cooks at home. I’m told I’m pretty good at banging pots. This food is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. And it is very reasonably priced — especially for midtown. You will not gnash your teeth when they bring you the tab — after you request it. There are a *lot* of choices in this neighborhood, and this street even, but O’Reilly’s is the move. Definitely go. You’ll be glad you did.

My friend and I stumbled upon this place one night and decided to grab a drink from here. The downstairs bar area was pretty full/loud so we headed upstairs. This place is pretty spacious. There are plenty of seating upstairs and nice booths. We just wanted something to drink so I ordered a sparking one. We also tried its sweet potato fries for $ 6 and it was really good! Overall good atmosphere. I really liked its interior décor. The staff were all really friendly during my visit. I am sure I will be back if I happen to be in the area again.

This bar is a very casual, chill environment that would be great for drinks with friends or even having something to eat. The cobb salad was surprisingly good, portioned well, and a good value at $ 14. The sweet potato fries were also a surprise. I must have been very hungry that day or it was just a good meal. Prices are reasonable and the service at the bar was prompt. Has all the staples of a very good Irish pub.

Pretty good place to come for a drink after work. The staff and waiters/waitresses are always very friendly and attentive and the bartenders are good and quick. It is usually a tame crowd with dim lighting and plenty of TVs to watch the games. The food is hit or miss though. It is a standard pub menu with wings and some Irish classics. Usually everything is hot, fresh, and flavorful but when my girlfriend and I came earlier this week, the food was overcooked and bland. Overall this is a great place to meet up for a meal or drink after work if you are in the area so we will be back.

On a recent trip to NYC, my friends and I found ourselves looking for a place to spend a couple of hours whilst waiting for our nearby hotel room to be ready. Normally, there’d be a plethora of activities to engage in around the city but given the falling snow and influx of people in the city for New Years, finding a bar for a couple drinks and food seemed the best option. On deciding this, we stumbled upon O’Reilly’s Off Fifth… a cozy and inviting Irish pub on West 35th Street. I presume this place has quite a bit of competition with the bar next door, but having visited both on my trip, I much prefer this place to the other. The pub itself is a sea of rich dark wood, interesting lighting(see the photo I posted), and mostly high-top seating. Having frequented this establishment on two separate occasions, I was able to sample a number of beers and plates. The Chicken Caesar Salad was crisp and tasty; a large portion of seasoned grilled chicken adorned the top layer of the salad. There were tomatoes in it… which I’ve never had before in a Caesar Salad. I also had the O’Reilly Burger which was a large Angus beef burger with apple wood smoked bacon and american cheese on a Kaiser Roll; served with french fries, this was a fulfilling, juicy, and delicious meal. The staff here are quite attentive and responsive to customer need. My glasses of Blue Moon and Magner’s were never empty for long. When time was of the essence before an evening show, our bill was presented promptly despite a growing crowd. Speaking of the bill, prices were average for pub grub. A couple more expensive options but most of the meals are quite affordable. Best of all? We were seated near a TV showing the Patriots game! Something I figured we may have trouble catching in the city. Between that and the Journey tunes emanating from nearby speakers, I was thoroughly entertained throughout my meals here.
