One and only home of the New York Gooners! Great bar. Fantastic people. Incredibly friendly bartenders(you don’t get many in NYC).

Very cozy little Irish bar. We had a drink before heading right across the street to a performance at the 14th Street Y. They have a tiny cocktail menu but the bar is well stocked so that’s not a problem. It’s right off the subway stop at 1st avenue, so it’s convenient to pop into on your travels. Reasonably priced, would come back to have a quick drink.

O’Hanlons is one of two ‘official’ Arsenal bars in Manhattan(the other being the Bling Pig). While Blind Pig usually gets pretty packed, O’Hanlons is SO much better! More seating, variety of TVs set up(the typical ones over the bar and then the projector screens in the back). The bartenders are super nice and the place is really mellow. Drinks are reasonably priced and the house beer on tap is a good deal. Two small downsides: 1.) they don’t serve food — which is inconvenient when you’re there for an early morning game, BUT they do allow you to bring in your own food so its not a big deal; 2.) really small bathroom — single stall bathrooms just don’t cut it when there’s a crowd

O’Hanlons is THE Arsenal Bar of NYC. I’ve been coming here for well over 2 years and the fans that pack the bar on the wee hours of the morning are amazing. Being packed with the same people every weekend screaming our lungs out Outside of the Arsenal games, this is a pretty chill bar. Cool playlists, good prices on the drinks, darts and a pool table out in the back. Plenty of TVs to catch a game and spaced out seating. The bartenders are pretty awesome as well. I will miss the old O’Hanlons but the remodel looks real nice so good for you guys!

Friendly bartender, friendly prices. Well drinks are on the stronger side, and I’m definitely not complaining. Happy hour is between 11 – 8 during the week. Because I’m drinking in the middle of the day, it’s pretty much dead, with a few old men reading newspapers and eating gluten-free chips. I hate crowds, so this is definitely a good place to drink — for me, at least. Music choice is on point, too!

Chill place if you want to play some darts or pool and grab a beer. There is a young crowd and it is not overly packed. They play 90s music if you like that.

Nice place — good darts and friendly service! Good beer offering, friendly people chillin’ at the bar and waiting to challenge you for darts or pool(both are free BTW!) Beware if you are not an arsenal fan!

This place is good if looking for a quick drink and its cold and cant find any other bar around 14th and 1st like how my unlucky a** was today! Walk down the steps and open the door. At first entrance it smells like vomit(EWW!) The only times a bar smells like vomit is when someone actually vomits… or when they use the same nasty rag to clean the counters!!! After about 5 mins you kinda get used to the smell(strangely enough) Long island is good and strong and moderatly priced(Did i mention i was in stuyvesant town?) Not bad. It got me drunk! HEHE

Great place to watch an Arsenal match! I’ve never been here for anything besides Arsenal matches, but for those, the atmosphere is warm, friendly, and cozy. Everybody is familiar with everybody, and of course it’s great to get the odd out-of-towner on vacation and they get welcomed in automatically. The ‘Stache and Cristiana are the best bartenders in the city. Will never go anywhere else for an Arsenal match in NYC.

This is your perfect end of night bar! Although the location is much diff than most bars(on 14th and 1st), the bar offers a clean, open environment which provides patrons great service. The bartenders are friendly and always make sure nobody has too wait too long. Beer selctions is solid, from basic american lagers, to irish stouts, to craft IPAs. I continue to come here near the end of night to grab a beer with friends and play either darts or billiards. Cool place, definitely check it out!

What can I say about O’Hanlons? I typically go there to have a beer with a buddy when you want to get away from the crowd or shi-shi type place.(Yea that’s right, I said shi-shi. Look it up) It’s a 3-star overall, but as far as my favorite neighborhood Dive-Bars go… It’s 10 of 10. They don’t serve food there however allow you to bring in anything you want, including the worlds greatest(and arguably smelliest) halal food truck that is a block away. Admittedly, I’ve done this in the past. The drinks are reasonably priced and it has a very friendly vibe. After going there a couple of times, the bartender will know your face and they’re super friendly. There are usually seats available at the bar, which is nice and they have plenty of stools. This isn’t a bar that you have to worry about standing in. On Friday and Saturday nights, it will get crowded though. It’s a really great place to watch a sports game and although I wouldn’t consider it a big time sports bar, it gets a lot of points for playing all the noteworthy games one could ask for. It’s also nice to have a seat and friendly atmosphere during said games.

I love this place! Just a regular, no-frills bar where you can hang out, mind your own business, watch a game, talk to the regulars and friendly bartenders. They get a pretty diverse crowd depending on the hour, and I am always glad I came. Highly recommended.

I came here to watch Chelsea v Arsenal while I was over on vacation. Kick off was 08:45 and I was half expecting to be in the bar alone yet the place was packed with Arsenal fans loud and proud! The result on the day was awful, we suffered a 6 – 0 hammering yet the fans in the bar kept on singing the whole way through. I’m the check in Duke of The Emirates Stadium and I’m sad to say there was more atmosphere in here than there is in the actual stadium for a lot of the games. If you are a Gooner then come on down, you will feel most welcome! COYG! FOYS!

This review is based primarily on my experience of coming here for Arsenal matches. I have a great time and we are very well taken care of as Arsenal fans in there. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and a nice beer selection. Devin and Christiano are very attentive. I go here for all the Arsenal games now.

I go hear to cheer-on the Arsenal and have a rowdy good time with me Arsenal mates! You have free hot dogs/meat patties. The Stache makes you feel at home.

Traditional Irish pub on 14th. Warm and calm. Hot cider with dark rum but you can find Irish coffee, Irish whiskies and beers. Good place to stay when it’s freezing outside.

We’d just finished swapping my buddy’s fridge in the village and dropped off his ZipCar. Anticipating a long search for a suitable bar on account of my beer snobbery, they mockingly suggested that this bar was as good as any, and I called their bluff. So, O’Hanlon’s may not serve anything fancier than a Peak Organic, but it’s a cozy kinda place. There was hardly anywhere inside on a Tuesday night, and a couple of good-looking dartboards in the back. The only thing off-kilter was the crowd: loud, older, and several of them somewhere on the border of quirky and shady. At some point a girl stumbled in and a sketchy man with a wedding band, who was pacing to and fro checking her out, sat down next to her and started playing some sort of game with her – either harmless flirtation or light seduction. There were sports on and loud Lakers fan in the house. One guy yelled really loud upon entering as if he were a nerdier Norm from Cheers. I don’t know.

Uhhh… Really? 4 stars, Unilocal friends? This happened to be one of the only bars we could find on a Saturday eve that wasn’t packed. I found out pretty quickly why that was… *It smells *Beer is not cheap. High Life is $ 5 or $ 6 a pop *Clientele is kind of creepy… old, drunk, and either overly friendly or angry There are pool tables and dart boards which likely makes it a cool place to chill if you’re a group of folks looking for entertainment. But for me, no thanks.
