I’m from the south and this place rivals any bbq place I’ve ever been to! the sauce they use for the bbq has a nostalgic old time flavor and they have a vast array of top shelf beers on tap that rotate weekly. I was honestly stumbling around looking for a great place to eat and ended up finding this jewel. I highly recommend this fine establishment to anyone who is looking for great food at a great price with an even better environment.

Decent BBQ. It’s good if you’re craving BBQ but it’s nothing to write home to mom about. The prices are OK, you get a lot of sides with your entrée but the actual entrée is a little disproportioned — I’d rather have a slightly bigger entrée and smaller sides. We ordered two entrees and got 4 sides. The 2 containers were filled up but the container with Mac and cheese was only filled about ¾ and the coleslaw was only filled ¼. The BBQ sauces are a bit tasteless.

Percy’s is the kinda spot the folks who’ve been to great BBQ spots elsewhere in the US would deny liking out of embarrassment, because everything is kinda heavy-handed but kinda enjoyable because rather than despite it. This corner space is proudly a Mizzou establishment, and I arrived to an empty space on a weekday afternoon for a pickup(I was a bit leery with no food terms in the top mentions). The Double-Out($ 18.00) scored me my choice of two of their smoked meats(plus their delightfully greasy, corn-studded cornbread), and it was a very nice portion(at predictably NYC prices for BBQ). Creamy Mac & Cheese — so standard I wouldn’t be surprised if it were mass-market boxed Pit-Smoked Baked Beans — just smoky enough to cut the sweetness Brisket — no Mighty Quinn’s, but certainly enjoyable, though the pre-sauced approach is questionable Pulled Pork — better than it looked, though the pre-sauced approach is questionable

I ordered on seamless. Food arrived much faster than estimated, which was impressive since we just had a blizzard. They were flexible with my alterations to the order, which was awesome. The sides were large. The baked beans were really good — soft, sweet, and with diced smoked pork in the beans, which is very authentic for southern cooking. The chicken was okay — could have had more flavor. The cole slaw was average. The corn bread was curiously a corn muffin lol. I would probably order from here again just because of the beans and the decent price.

I’m a fan of this bar. They had pretty good specials and a decent variety of beer on tap. Came here on Saturday to watch the NFL playoffs. Personally, I don’t care much for football but I was excited to see a place with reasonable prices and wings. My friends and I ordered 60 wings, nachos and pulled pork sliders. The wings were big! Unfortunately, they could have had more flavor in them. Nachos were alright but the pulled pork sliders were good! For the price, i’ll definitely be back. $ 48 for 60 wings is about as good as you’ll get in NYC. They also had darts(duh) but the bar was packed so I’ll definitely have to play a game or two next time.

FUN place to be, everyone is so nice and the food is fantastic. The mac and cheese and cornbread were both superb! Definitely coming back!

I threw my fathers 60th birthday here, and let me tell you, it was the best place on the planet to do it. The manager, Colin, worked in my budget to throw an amazing party with great food and drinks, and the ENTIRE staff was an absolute dream the entire night. They even put on my dads favorite kind of music, and made sure we all had everything we wanted. I cannot sing the praises of this place enough. If you ever are looking for a place to throw an event, I highly HIGHLY recommend Percy’s.

The music is spot on, the drinks are reasonable, and it’s great especially if you are sick of the line at fat Buddha next door and just want to have a good night with friends.

This DJ and these bartenders are some of the best on the Lesbian(L.E.S.) Forget that overhyped-ass Obese Bodhisattva and come to Percy’s instead. As a matter of fact, have a free shot when you check in!

Came here for dinner and to watch the Met game and might have found a new favorite pub. The service was great… Julia was fantastic! The food was great. If you like crispy fries, you’ll be in heaven. They have tons of TVs and it’s a great place to catch a game. Will definitely be back!

Excellent quality menu and quite big without losing the Irish pub feel. Great place for darts and TVs galore. Very friendly staff and obviously a great place on game days.

Met up with a friend here. This is your typical Irish pub, and during football season, you have your sports fans taking over the joint. As any bar, some can get a little obnoxious. It’s super chill and a good place to meet up with friends for beer and food.

Went to Percys for opening day of college football season to watch a Mizzou game and it was packed but still received great service! And they’re new BBQ was great!

Percys is a great hangout spot, maybe I’m biased as a Mizzou girl. Their food menu is awesome and game day drink specials are great. If you check in and buy a drink you get a free shot special! They have darts boards and TVs in every direction you look. Definitely one of my favorite bars in the city. No Kansas fans welcome. But seriously.

I haven’t tried their new menu. I found this place because of my Mizzou affiliation. For bar food it’s ok. Wish they had boneless hot wings. However their service is friendly and prices are pretty good.

I call a lot of bars to organize large groups coming in, and I can instantly tell when a bar has their stuff together. I wasn’t disappointed when we came in! Everyone I spoke with over the phone and dealt with the day of was amazing! Excellent service from the managers to the staff! Nice beer menu, and I had some wings which were good. Will definitely be back with my group and hope to come back on my own to try some more items on the menu.

Came here yesterday with my fraternity brothers and was impressed. BBQ smelled amazing. Great beer selections and we were taken care of. Very large space and a lot of cool games to play while you’re drinking. Very attractive and nice staff too.

I came here for the first time last night and this might now be my new go to bar. The bartender, Colin, was extremely nice and and talkative since I had to wait nearly an hour for my friends to get there. He even let me sample the corn bread which was really good. What I didn’t expect was the amazing BBQ which I was told is a new thing they are starting. I highly recommend the pulled pork and mac and cheese, which is relatively priced low($ 12) considering the area and how big the serving is. They also have 16 beers on draft, which didn’t help my indecisiveness but my friends enjoyed. They also have a dart board area, which we didn’t use, but seems entertaining.

If you like playing darts, this is your spot. Conveniently located in the East Village, Percy’s has the most dart boards I’ve ever seen in a single bar. Drinks were reasonably priced and service was friendly. Like most pubs, the standard macro brews were available, along with a few more interesting choices, like The Plunge(Coney Island Brewing Co.) Standard bar food was available, I tried a grilled cheese sandwich. It was decent. I wouldn’t mind going back, but if I’m looking to play darts, this is the first spot on the list.

Percy’s — your standard Irish joint where you can watch sports, enjoy a Guinness, and munch on familiar bar bites like nachos, wings, etc… I sat here thinking of how I’d pen a robust, wordy review of this Alphabet City pub, but it’s a really tough task. Then it hit me — sometimes bars don’t have to be anything more than what meets the eye. They’ve got booze, TVs, and food… and if you’re even mildly interested in enjoying any of those three things in an easy, casual environment, you’ve just met your new favorite neighborhood bar. *Mic drop*
