Sometimes I skip biryani, figuring, eh, it’s just rice, but I strongly recommend a visit to Biryani Express. This steam-​table spot had numbered combinations so I wasn’t sure if this precluded the any meat-​plus-​any vegetable setup of similar places. I asked for whatever was spiciest and got the biryani topped with some curry chicken.
The biryani itself had a decent mix of flavors and textures, but the sauce on the chicken was phenomenal. It was incendiary but had more going on than just heat. The samosa was good though not as memorable as the main course.
