Called in a simple order for pick up… they gave it to someone else… Poor customer service for simple food.

Hands down the best chicken and broccoli I have ever had. If you are in the mood for good Chinese food and don’t mind paying a little bit more for quality food then this is the place for you!

Love this place! They know my sweethearts order as soon as he comes in :) I have gone with him a few times and I think the service is amazing but the food is nothing to write home about.

Good average Chinese cuisine in Kips Bay area. Lightning quick service for delivery and take away. Noodles, dumplings are their speciality. Very good wonton soup, good broth. Good crystal shrimp dumplings(Har Kow), pork ginger dumplings. The Singapore curry noodles have a healthy variety of pork, shrimp, chicken and vegetables. **The Prices climb up, and up, and up, and up very often though…**

My pad thai was a giant glop of noodles with a few shrimp not a veg to be seen, when asked she pointed and said, bean sprouts! Thick sauce, ate a little and couldn’t or didn’t want anymore. Hub had a big bowl of ramen noodles with bok choy and wontons said it was ok but we’ve definitely had better take out. The service stunk, they could care less. The veg spring rolls were tasty and deep fried so of course they were good. Never again!

I had noodles with roast chicken here. The soup was ok but the chicken was so salty. bad call.

This place is pricier than other noodle places I’ve been, but they give huge portions. The pork wonton noodle soup was pretty good. I was disappointed that though they had wonton noodle soup, duck noodle soup, pork noodle soup, AND pork wonton noodle soup, there was no duck wonton noodle soup): Complaints: there wasn’t enough noodle and the pork was too chewy. Compliments: the broth was delicious! The beef pad thai was mediocre. The beef(like the pork) was too chewy. The sauce on the pad thai was a bit too mild for my taste, not quite bland but not very flavorful. This was at the end of the night though. They seated us close to the time when the kitchen was to be closed. It was a bit rushed, but we were seated and our orders were taken and served. They even seated a family that came in a while after us.

Yooooooo the egg rolls are the most amazing things I’ve ever had. They are huge and so filling. I just ate 2 and a half of these egg rolls and I still want more. You all need to go to noodles 28 and get an egg roll. Best in NYC. Thanks noodles 28 Don’t ever change the egg rolls

Fortune cookies can be a great way to predict the future! Considering this place was too cheap to give them out… It’s safe to say they do not HAVE a future in Kips Bay. My edamame was old, soggy and not«salted». My spicy noodle may have actually been a spicy poodle. I will never know. Totally disappointing because the place is decorated really nice and your wouldn’t guess any of this from the outside.

I went to the area looking for a ramen soup. I couldn’t find the Japanese restaurant that I wanted. I ended up in this Chinese restaurant because I really wanted noodles. I saw somebody in another table easting PhoBo and order it. It was out of this world. Tasty, generous, rich broth, perfect noodles, and well priced. Will definitely become a regular.

Crazy expensive yet the food is delicious. Noodles has been famous for its dumplings for 15 years. I got addicted to their steamed veg dumplings at least 12 years ago. Back then you got 8 huge, delicious, fresh dumplings for $ 6.95. Now you get 6 for MORE than $ 10. AND…no fortune cookie for you! That’s right, they have cut the cookie(s). I love the food, but I feel resentment and that I’m getting ripped off whenever I order from them. Of course inflation has escalated prices over the years — and loads of longtime great bars and restaurants on Third Ave. in the 20s are shutting due to tripled rents — but I just find Noodles too expensive.

Noodles 28 does a great job satisfying my Chinese food cravings. I’m Chinese-American and I can say that this place has some pretty authentic dishes in addition to the usual American-Chinese dishes. Both are very good! General Tso’s chicken isn’t skimpy, comes with big pieces of white meat. Yum! Their vegetable dumplings are the best in Manhattan, a must try! A good amount of different veggies like mushrooms, carrots, water chestnut, broccoli and even mung bean vermicelli. I like how they accommodate me each time I ask for little oil in my noodle dishes, it must be tough to cook in the wok with little grease, but they are nice about it and the noodles always taste great. The beef and shrimp stir fry flat noodles are my favorite! For those craving Vietnamese food they also have great phở and summer rolls Chill ambiance and very friendly staff, five stars!

Juicy and delicious pork dumplings are a must try. The best I have had so far. The General Tso Chicken was also really good. The crispy chicken pieces and the sauce was a good combination. Friendly service and very nice atmosphere. As good as it gets for Chinese food in this area.

Noodle 28? More like«poodle 28»… Pretty sure I got deep fried dog. I ordered the general tso’s and the chicken lo mein. Just keep away there’s better out there. 2 stars for the timely delivery, that’s all they got going for them.

Good food and fast delivery. Egg rolls are pricey but big and crunchy. Their specialty dishes are your best bet when you order. You will not be disappointed with the portions.

Good food, reliable dishes — no surprises good or bad. The BEST thing about this place is their lightening quick delivery. They’re at my door before I can press ORDER on Seamless. Perfect for those day’s you order while suffering through hanger. I’ve had the pad thai with shrimp(good — large portion), the dumpling soup(no flavor really but solid broth and dumpling texture), lobster sauce dish(similar to the dumpling soup, not that much flavor but good texture and nice for a cold/rainy day) and the General Tso’s with Chow Mein.

I ordered lunch from here the other day and when I went to pick it up, I was very impressed as to how nicely the inside was decorated. There’s a tree right next to the front desk and it’s not tacky — gives it a pretty cool ambiance. As most other Unilocalers have mentioned, they have a good lunch special and I completely agree. I got a lot of food for $ 11 — hot and sour soup and the vegetarian duck. The hot and sour soup was very good — full of flavor, the perfect amount of spice, and pretty filling. The vegetarian duck was OK. I probably should’ve gotten the tofu since I’m not a big fan of fake meat, but it was tasty, chewy, and the veggies with the rice tasted well together. I’ll probably order lunch from here again.
