The owners of these stores are crooks! You can get the same items elsewhere at a better price. The owners(if you meet them) are rude and/or ignorant. I can’t believe they’re still in business!

Considering I’ve never actually seen anyone purchase anything in this store, I can’t figure out why the salesgirls are unable to provide any sort of service. Perhaps they are too preoccupied with fixing their floppy bangs? Fluffing the $ 40 headbands? Not sure. I work in the WFC so I have limited shopping options nearby, but if given the option I won’t spend my money at Montmartre. I’d rather trek to Century; at least I know that there, if I’m going to be abused, it’ll be by sales staff that’s actually working.

Bloomingdales. Everyone goes there. You may find that while getting price gouged, you’re also getting physically elbowed in the gut in both the Flagship store and the Soho locations. If you want to avoid the shopping TKO, go to Montmartre. With sister locations in both the Time Warner Center and on the Upper West Side, this smaller location provides a personal shopper boutique feel. Although you’ll still feel some bruises in your wallet, there are also ample opportunities to find rare designer pieces at a discounted price. You also won’t have to worry about the tourist rush and paper cuts from the big brown bags zipping past you.
