This business has the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. I am not the type of person who typically writes reviews but the way this company treats its customers deserves to be known. I have personally witnessed a Metro PCS! OWNER! verbally and physically assaulting customers who were trying to get refunds in their stores(video can be found here: youtu.be/zK4WkbbQ_DQ). I contacted metro PCS multiple times and showed them the video. Nothing was ever done… this guy owns over 7 stores so stay away from Metro PCS unless you want to get attacked by their unhinged staff — Metro PCS does not care and the police will not do a thing about it! ** STAYAWAY**

The Scam — So you go into your Metro PCS Dealer looking for a Phone and Wireless Plan. You find the phone, and wow it is only $ 38. Cool, you think. You get to the Register and the guy at the counter rings you up… $ 138.00. «Whoooo…wait a minute» you say. It said it was only $ 38! «That is after the mail in rebate» he explains. Ok, not so bad. You will at least get $ 100 back in a rebate check. Don’t hold your breath. What you will get back is some postcard telling you you were not eligible for the rebate. The same post card everyone who bothered to mail in the rebate gets, I assure you. It’s an age old scam. Metro PCS counts on you not to bother to mail in the rebate, but if you do they send you the post card figuring you won’t bother. And if you should bother, good luck trying to get a hold of anyone to dispute it with. They send you a phone number which will go to an automated system of which you only have a few choices, to check on your rebate status and to join of change your Metro PCS Service. We even tracked down the Metro PCS Corporate office number and tried that. Yep… Another automated system with no possibility of getting a hold of a live person. Why you may ask? Due to the volume of people this company screws over and rips off on a daily basis, the staff necessary to handle the call volume would be tremendous. Did you know that, if you want to upgrade to a better and even more expensive phone(meaning more money for Metro PCS) they want to charge you a $ 10 upgrade fee! Outrageous right? Guess what else is in-store for you. That«Free» warranty on the phones is not so free. There is a $ 10.80 servicing charge. Moral of this story? Buyer beware. Metro PCS Sells inferior equipment manufactured in a 3rd world country. That $ 10.80 charge more then likely pays for the entire new phone! Do not trust this company or their promised rebates. You will never see that rebate check!
