Bad: The pizza here was really not very good — too much cheese, greasier than most, crust thick and doughy. Standard $ 2.50. Good: The space was warm and it’s one of the few open establishments where you can class it down with some greasy food before heading to the Rubin Museum across the street.

I came in here hungry and not looking to spend much money. I automatically assumed I’d be eating the generic NYC pizza that is offered on almost any street corner. Boy was I surprised. There was one slice of pizza that just screamed«meat!» I am not a meat lover, but I could not resist. I asked the dude what was on the slice and he replied«bacon, pepperoni, and sausage.» My mouth started to water uncontrolably. I couldn’t wait to sit down to my piping hot slice of heart attack pizza. The first bite was intense. Sweet, salty, meaty– delicious. The pizza dough was thin and the bacon and pepperoni were crispy — how fitting given the name of the restaurant! I even ate the crust! It was that good. I didn’t even bother to order a drink because I wanted to keep those yummy flavors on my taste buds for as long as possible. I love places like this in the city– the kind of places that you stumble across and realize you’ve just discovered a treasure. I wouldnt say this is a place you go out and actively seek for a slice of pizza but if you are ever in the neighboorhood and need a quick bite, step in to crispy pizza, you wont be disappointed!

In my search for a coffee shop I came across this pizza joint.(To be fair they do have an espresso machine on the counter.). Maybe it was the free can of soda with any slice that got me, or the fact that it was almost noon and I hadn’t eaten a thing, but I ducked in to get some true NY style pizza. With over 9 types to choose from I quickly snagged a slice of bacon, veggie, mushroom and cheese to satisfy the grumblings going on in the stomach. Now mind you, this is the type of pizza you have to eat with a fork and knife. So, with a full stomach(and my free Coke) I can safely continue on my tourist way.

Open late night, no wait, great crispy pizza(the name doesn’t lie!), especially when stumbling in after a night of partying. the servers are pleasant, and not sleezy, and actually call out people when they are sleezy to you. It hits the spot if you’re nearby.

Ordered a pizza and it never arrived. The people answering the phone did not instill confidence.

walked… stumbled…by this place and decided i could use some food in my stomach to salvage the next morning. surprisingly good. the crust was not too think, perfect thickness for me, and very tasty and crunchy. definitely not as oily as some well known pizza joints(i.e. artichoke, pizza suprema). It may have been the fun beverages earlier in the night, but this place serves up a mean pizza slice for a very good price.

The crust has a nice flavor, which is good, because it is a little thick for my taste. Sometimes here I prefer the white pizzas, especially the one with fresh tomatoes. The good news is that they are only 2.50 a slice, and they have one of the best selections of slices I’ve ever seen. I think they had 8 different types at least. Definitely a bit on the greasy side, so go in when that’s what you are needing, if you know what I mean.

As mentioned before, the pizza here has a good crust and the owner is really nice. Good, reliable slice of pizza. The only thing I would add is that they have a really nice selection of toppings. My favorites right now are the veggie pizza(I’m a meat’n’potatoes kind of guy, but with the amount of veggies you get on this slice and the way they combine with the cheese, I’m sold on this thing), the chicken and broccoli(again, tons of tasty veggies and little slices of breaded chicken sprinkled throughout), and the margherita. I would definitely check this place out if you’re in the mood for pizza and are in the area.

The crust is great — different from other pizza places. Had an amazing slice of mozzarrella. Lots of small tables. And the owner is really nice.
