This place is nearby, so that’s good. It’s like all the other McDonalds except that there are sometimes weird people here, if you get what I mean. Especially, in the early morning hours, it can be kind of eerie. The food is good and cheap. Like any other McDonalds. Good place to stop by and get a snack or a bite to eat if I don’t have food or I’m craving some ice cream.

Sadly I have given into the McDonald’s Monkey on my back far too often after a long work day. Something about some chicken nuggets and a cheeseburger just makes a bad day a semi-okay one for me. This is extremely close to my workplace so I often frequent it on said had days. They usually are pretty busy(as most McDonald’s are) but the staff here is probably the WORST out of every chain I’ve been to. They don’t listen to your order half the time, or they just stare at you kind of dumbly. I realize I have an accent but I NEVER have to repeat myself more then 2 times for someone to get what I am saying. Here it is a constant battle of trying to get the proper order. On more then one occasion they have either shorted me money or given me too much back.(and I have to tell them they gave me too much back — they don’t notice). They appear to be more into yelling obscenities at each other rather then taking proper orders and paying attention to their jobs. The managers, do they exist?

I usually don’t complain about big companies like McDonald’s but I was really disappointed in the quality of service this place offered. First thing was that caught my attention was the lack of cleanliness and condiments, there was wrappers and crumbs pretty much all over the counters. No napkins or ketchup! :( Second was the unfriendly service, as soon as it was my turn to order, the lady on the register just completely cut me off, told me to hold on, then went to chit chat with her friend for quite a handful of seconds… I’m the type of guy that just want’s to get in and out in these types of places. Third…they messed up my order. 50 piece mcnuggets to split with my friend and they forgot 10 of them. We went back they did confirm and gave us the correct amount. Maybe it was a bad day for this McDonald’s store but first impressions do make a mark.

This McDonald’s has 2 levels and is open 24 hours a day. However, when I got there, the 2nd floor was closed. There is a bathroom conveniently located on the first floor. I really like the seating area, particularly the cute lounge-y red seats in the left and right corner when you first enter. There is free wifi which is great for staying connected, though there are no visible charging locations.

This has to be one of the worse McDonald’s Ever in the City besides W3rd st. This comment is based on the Night Crew! they have no since of customer service. the use of foul language is another issue they have. they need to be re-trained!!!

Sometimes I need some McD fries and a burger too! I was running an errand at lunch time using the crosstown M23 bus. I did not even notice the McDonald’s on the ground floor of the residential building until I stood right next to it. Nothing wrong with getting a snack while waiting for the slow MTA bus.

EXTREMELYDISAPPOINTEDANDDISGUSTED! This is the time I seriously wish I could give 0 star. I ordered a chicken bacon wrap before going to the airport around 4AM. Since I was in a rush I asked how long the wait might be, and the employee said nothing but looked at me like I was crazy. When I opened the paper package on the car, it was NOT A WRAP. There was no tortilla wrap! The lettuce, tomato, chicken and sauce were stuffed in the paper package without an actual wrap. As I was opening it expecting a regular wrap, the loose stuff fell onto the car seat and my clothes. ITWASDISGUSTING!!! I couldn’t eat it because I couldn’t tell where the food was coming from or whether it was cleanly prepared. I don’t think the wrap part was easily forgettable. Honestly I have to say that the employees purposely did this because they did not offer me a receipt at all.

Passable, but like all but one NYC McDonald’s, overall disappointing. Stopped by the East 23rd Street McDonalds(they deliver?!?) to climb the gastronomical mountain that is the 50-piece Chicken Nugget box($ 10). Unveiled in the midst of a nugget war with Burger King in the era of drought-triggered beef scarcity, chicken is being hawked like it’s going out of style. What I really wanted was a 50-nugget box. Unfortunately, just like the Dollar Menu is a myth in Manhattan, so was the nugget box. Instead, nuggets were packed 25-tight into two 20-nugget boxes. While not shortchanged any chicken, definitely lost out on selfie-impact of the big five-oh box. Overall, this McDonald’s beats that on 3rd Avenue at East 33rd Street in that there are no panhandlers accosting customers outside the front door. However, serious questions regarding the wisdom of installing automatic doors without the benefit of a breezeway — whole restaurant goes into a deep freeze anytime someone walks by the storefront! Reason #74 that Manhattan lags America.

Thanks for popping those hash browns in the fryer at 3am. You made my inebriated-self and tummy really, really happy… And I will never forget that night. :)

I’ve been thrown out of this McDonald’s twice now. I’m not proud of it. I just needed to get on the excellent free wi-fi(it’s quite fast!) and I didn’t have money to buy anything. Yes, I know. If you’re too broke for McDonald’s, you need to rethink your life choices. It’s a very stylish McDonald’s befitting its location in the Gramercy Stark building. I guess even well dressed and non-smelly bums such as myself are still to be kept at bay. But when you have tables conviently next to outlets… us technically proficient but cash strapped people just can’t stay away. Why can’t you be as cool as Starbucks, McDonald’s??? They don’t have«Customer Only» restrooms. They let you soak up free AT&T wi-fi until your ass falls asleep. Fine… your coffee is better & cheaper, but you hospitality is lacking. Shame on you, McDonald’s. shame on you.

Service: 2⁄5 The line to the registers is always a mess, its like a free for all Ambiance: 3⁄5 — nice, new, renovated — dirty uncleaned tables — shady characters frequent this location Food: 3⁄5 — All food items are marked up significantly compared to other locations, no 1 $ menu items here, but I guess most of manhattan is like that — Spicy McChicken — patty was cold and slightly cardboardy — ive had much better at other locations — Fish McBites — suprisingly delicious if fresh, served with tartarsauce

A truly exquisite Manhattan dining experience. I highly recommend the Hot Mustard Sauce, out of this world.

I didn’t think I’d ever write a review for McDonald’s until I wandered into this location, I mean, it is after all, just McDonald’s. However, this location made enough of an impression it merited a review. I stopped at the entrance looking for the doors to push open, instead sliding doors opened in welcoming. Eyebrows perked, looked around, I was a bit skeptical… McDonald’s, sliding doors? Honestly the impression was mainly the appearance of the place and the cashiers. Very modern looking furniture and very clean. A Sony t.v. at McDonald’s?! I chuckled on the inside as I thought ‘that wouldn’t last long, not in the hood’ As opposed to other locations where most cashiers seem to be a bit hard of understanding or simply don’t care, these people were alert, sharp, and on point.

This review is based on me eating 20 chicken nuggets, a double cheeseburger and a McChicken at 2AM while pissed ass drunk. I hadn’t eaten McDonalds in close to 3 yrs. Despite their food being made entirely from corn-based materials and leftover animal parts, it was quite tasty. I will be back again but definitely not while sober.

Automatic sliding doors? At a Mcdonalds? I’m not one to write reviews for chains unless their exceptionally good or bad but this place really made quite the impression on me. I know Mcdonalds has been on a massive remodeling of all their locations to make them look super modern and it really is working. The renovations look amazing and for this location in particular, it’s extremely welcoming and cleaner than you’d think. I had a pretty good experience here. Ordered and got my food fairly quick(it is fast food after all) and the food tasted and looked just fine. People were pretty nice too! Imagine that. A pretty big step up from what use to be here!

An American staple. If you never ate at McDonald’s before then you might as well be in the boondocks of Alaska. Grabbing a number two. With their sweet ketchup, not exactly crisp pickle, slightly sweetened bread, with cheese that is practically imitation wrapped in plastic sheets yellow is perfection enough to bring back memories of my childhood. And chicken nuggets with hot mustard sauce or BBQ? Big Mac? Come on now, we are talking about that 90’s rap they came out listing all their menu. And while all McDonald’s aren’t equal, you are going to get a similar flavor profile wherever you hit up a Mikkey D’s. Just don’t bother grabbing a large, as usually you get only a few more fries as the box is mainly longer than thicker, unless you a big soda drinker.

I can’t believe I’m reviewing a McDonalds, but here goes — this spot used to be rather unattractive, but with all the yuppies and frat-boys/sororoty-girls and medical-students/interns/residents and others which have recently populated the area thanks to gentrification, it’s now actually a very modern and clean and efficient place — I really like the automatic sliding doors as you enter — and they take credit cards! — and they’re open 24 hours… I don’t eat at McDonalds often, maybe once a year, and I usually only order a strawberry sundae(with extra peanuts) and/or a cheese-burger(there’s just something special about those little onion chunks, the pickles, and the mix of ketsup & mustard), and perhaps if I’m starving or extremely drunk I’ll share an order of french fries with a friend… The staff here is very friendly, maybe even flirty — and the space is so cozy I have actually been comfortable enough to try a few new things: the«Angus» Burger with either Bacon/Cheese or Swiss/Mushrooms or Lettuce/Tomato is actually rather tasty for a mere $ 4, the«Steak» with egg and cheese on a bagel gave me heartburn and I won’t order it again, the sausage biscuit was a little too greasy for me, and the filet-o-fish was interesting but not really my thing… I’ll be back.
