Well this place was a complete failure in my book!!! Delivery time 50 min. The delivery guy called me about 40 min after my order telling me he was at my building and that my apt number did not exist in my building, I repeated my apt number and address twice and he said that was the building he was at, seeming rather frustrated so I said I would come to the lobby. When I got to the lobby he’s nowhere to be found but he keeps saying what are you talking about I’m here where are you in a frustrated tone as if I was wrong. After about 5 min he realizes he is wrong mumbles sorry and hangs up. He finally gets to me I’m thinking ok let by-gones be by-gones everyone makes mistakes, then I open the popcorn chicken I ordered and find it cold and so dry it was basically inedible. JUSTDON’T BOTHER!

Kool Bloo sucks a$$. Really, this place is a gross, roach-infested hole with stains on the walls on Second Avenue. Last time I was there I paid $ 20 for a soggy wrap with rotten ingredients, and two orders of fries with about 6 fries per order. Absolutely outrageous prices and DISGUSTING to the point of the food not being edible.

I guess my biggest gripe is the price. Their prices are different for delivery and pick-up items, which I find odd, as this is not typical practice. But even more so, their non-delivery prices still feel pretty steep. I got a wrap and sweet potato fries today and it cost me $ 15. That’s tourist prices! All I was doing was getting lunch, two doors down from my job, not visiting the Met. Of course, the easiest thing to do is NOTTOGO, but when there are so few healthy, vegetarian options around, you end up going. I do recommend the sweet potato fries, though by the time I get them upstairs they’re already soggy. The rest, I can take it or leave it.

Stay away from this place. I just paid $ 15 for a cold cheeseburger. I hate Kool Bloo so much. Their name is stupid, too.

Consistently awful. Even after 6 beers. I’d rather stay hungry.

Sooo yummy. Came here for lunch one day with my friend. Veggie burger wrap was amazing and I highly highly recommend the seasoned fries. They were so good. My friend got the cowboy burger which was huge and fresh and she loved it. The menu is huge and you can basically find whatever you’re in the mood for because they literally have everything. The place was cute to go to for a quick lunch and the service was good and quick but they also deliver apparently. I’d probably also like to try some of their other locations.

Sigh… Kool Bloo is like the asshole you keep giving another chance because you swear he will change. Firstly… I see a few mentions here but don’t order Kool Bloo from seamless, grub hub, allmenus, etc. Order directly from their website because you will get 25% off your first order and 10% off any other order. Plus you get 2 scratchoff things when you order, which may give you the chance to get between 10 — 30% off next time. This chops down on the steep prices($ 5 for fries?) Second… you pretty much have to order the whole menu to figure out what’s good and what’s not so good. Kool Bloo needs to be visited by Gordon Ramsay for an episode of Kitchen Nightmares SOLELY for the fact that he says too many menu items means a whole bunch of stuff at average quality versus a few things of great quality. — their seasoned fries are very good and surprisingly stay crispy. — the milkshakes are pretty decent but then again its milk and ice cream so weigh this point as much as you want. — their mexi-blend popcorn chicken is banging. yes banging. not so eloquent but relevant. — burger is alright. way too much meat though so its not that flavorful. — —— lemon pepper popcorn chicken? NOOOOOOOOOFUCKINWAY. Don’t ever order this… they marinated that shit in LYSOL! Third — prepare to get enough menus with your order to wallpaper your apartment. It’s a little ridic. Obviously, KB, I ordered from you so I know your menu — my 400 sqft apt cannot accommodate any more menus. Geesh between them and the sushi place who has jammed my front door from opening due to all the menus they stuffed underneath. Sooo… I don’t know whether to recommend this place truthfully. I’ve had good meals and gross meals.

I gave two stars because I liked the gentleman who took my order. He was really nice. I ordered a chicken gyro sandwich and did not like it at all. The chicken was ground and had no flavor. It was overpriced for chicken gyro sandwich, fries and soda at $ 13. Blah. I wish I had just gone next door to jess’s bakery for some Chinese.

If I could give Kool Bloo a 3.5 I guess I would. To be honest the food itself is not that bad, it’s the price that set me aback. I saw that they have good lunch deals during the day, for example — $ 7.95 for sandwich, fries and a soda depending on what type of sandwich you are getting. But I didn’t go there during lunch and my chicken burger and fries were over $ 14. It’s one thing if I was receiving the most incredible chicken sandwich ever, but it’s basically a fast food establishment. The quality isn’t high — it just«gets the job done.» The seasoned fries are the best part of the meal, and I’d like to try a shake sometime because it’s $ 2 between the hours of 3 – 5 at this location.

One of the best burgers in NYC. The burgers are freshly prepared with the freshest ingredients, served at the perfect temperature and the taste is just sweeeeeeeeeeet! The food is great and the people that work there are extremely nice especially the guy behind the counter. All in all great experience. Recommend it to anyone that is craving a great burger.

This was the first time the office decided to give Kool Bloo a try and it will be the last. My order of a MEDIUM basic cheeseburger was cooked well and served on a toasted, but still stale roll. Not even a tomato slice or some shredded lettuce came with it. My co-workers beef brisket was skimpy on the beef to say the least, with 3 meager slices of brisket in his order. To top it off, we didn’t even get napkins or salt and pepper in the bag. I will give them positives on the quickness of their delivery and the seasoned fries. The fries helped keep us from utter disappointment. At around $ 10. the price isn’t bad either, but for that price or less we could have went to the local deli for a better meal.

This place is absolutely horrendous! I ordered in off of seamlessweb because the reviews were good and I was in the mood for BBQ. It was a complete mess and I will never order again. In fact, I feel like calling them and demanding some money back. I ordered for a few people and the total came to over $ 60. The amount of food that came was an absolute joke. If I had ordered from a diner, it would have cost $ 25. The pulled chicken sandwich looked like it was made by a 5th grader. The mozzarella sticks were barely defrosted, the jalepeno poppers the same and they oddly were served with blue cheese. The Mac N Cheese was a molten mess of cheese whizz and undetermined pasta bits. The food that was sent was barely defrosted supermarket frozen food sent over and overbilled for. Beware, stay away.

I wish I had read the Unilocal reviews before I got tricked into ordering here via . That’s what I get for being lazy I guess! I was craving a hamburger late night and saw all the four and five star ratings this restaurant had. The reviewers on that site should hang up their knife and fork at their attempts of being food critics until further notice. I will never take any of their reviews seriously again. My bottom burger bun was a soggy, sloppy, disgusting mess. The bacon wasn’t even slightly crisp. It was barely cooked. In fact the whole sandwich was probably nuked in a microwave and sent to my house, hence the fact that the bottom of my bun was completely waterlogged. I suspect at one time the entire sandwich was frozen. The meat had the consistency of a sponge. And they have the balls to charge me almost $ 12 for this crap?! Next time I’m hitting up Mickey D’s! Forget this Kool Bloo’s nonsense! If I want to eat mediocre food, by golly it had better be cheap! Bring on the Mad Cow Disease baby! Seriously… Who came up with that name because they’re fired too! There is absolutely nothing KOOL about the fact that you BLOO way too much money on horrid food that is so bad you can’t even eat it, even though you are starving. Never ever again even if it’s the last burger joint on Earth!

I ordered the brown rice, spinach, and tahini with grilled salmon as my topping. It’s a bit pricey, but I figured it’d be good for two days. However, only half my order came. It turns out, they’d run out of the salmon, so instead of calling me(they had my number) to see if I’d like a substitute, they sent just the rice, spinach, and tahini. The food was average at best, but it is pricey, so no value-for-money here. I won’t be ordering from them again.

I have ordered from this place two times in the last two weeks. Its mostly a weekday lunch. The place has a menu thats ridiculously long. So i was plesaanlty surprised that while you feel liek they can do ANYTHING, the dishes are not all that bad. Pulled pork sandwich — Good. Great portion. Dragon Burger: the jalapenos are great, and they add hot sauce too. If you like spice, get this one! Yum.

I give this place 2 stars, but it does get 4 stars for its breakfast wraps. THATSIT. If I were to rate the rest of the restaurant it would get about 2 stars. Do NOT let the menu tempt you, everything sounds good because it is fried and brings back a flood of childhood and late-night college gluttony binging memories, but it is NOT good. Had the South of the Border burger — Medium Rare — cooked just as I like it with lettuce & tomato amply layered in with the jalapeño peppers, jack cheese and pico de gallo sauce — YUMMMMYYY. Bun was real substantial with lots-o-sesame seeds and fresh and burger was thick and juicy. Did the job! P. S. Choco layer cake still TDF!!! I upgraded for that — sometimes you like to know something you have a taste for is exactly as you remembered!

I can not recall much of this experience, like the name of dishes involved, so not sure what it’s worth to you– but I got delivery from here using SeamlessWeb and, my GOD, it was awful. They took forever. Everyone’s food was cold(only 3 of us!). Bland. And one of the dishes was wrong. We called the place back, and they brought over the proper dish, but the new dish was horrendous as well. This was definitely a «why did we have to try something new?!» night.

As mentioned by others, the pricing here can be a little insane. It seems like they just pick an arbitrary number for pricing various items. A small side of onion rings is $ 4.50! The burgers and sandwiches are priced pretty average compared to the restaurants in the surrounding area. The burger I had was decent tasting however it’s very hit and miss. They have their on days and their off days. On an off day be prepared for your order to have something incorrectly executed.
