LMHQ stands for lower Manhattan headquarters and is a spot for meeting room classroom for client meetings and an event space. I have been here for a few events, The holiday party was the most recent. It was a success and turns out I saw a few Unilocal elite in the crowd including my company at the event. Set up was great for the event and so was the food. Bubble tea was also served from The Boba Guys. As a meeting room set up, there are plans to join. You can pick a 3 month individual for $ 600, that includes exclusive access to VIP members events and all day access to LMHQ. There is also a drop in service that cost $ 30 per day. 1 day Access is included and a conference room access to almost everything. LMHQ is the place downtown to host or attend an event. Check it out.

This is why I love my friends. Little did I know that this random, low-key Holiday Party at LMHQ is the happening spot! I came here with a fellow-Elite on a «why-not-I’ve-nothing-else-to-do-this-particular-Tuesday-night» basis and ended up bumping into other Eliters and having a blast! Free food, free drinks AND free karaōke — I’m living the dream! Oh and did I mention this is free? The crowd is amazing, my stomach was filled, the drinks and bubble tea were more than enough and I got my singing on! Yep — I’m definitely coming again and spreading the news.

LMHQ is always a fun time and tonight was no exception, with the fun and excitement that was their Christmas party. They served up delicious dim-sum, had a solid open bar flowing, and they even had the Boba Guys close up shop early because they were on site, in the kitchen, making trays of green tea for us all in different flavors. Saying that I was HYPED doesn’t even begin to cut it because the excitement was way too real. Other great mentions, are that there was a karaōke setup with a skilled pianist playing music to sing along to, for anyone that cared to rock the mic and I ran into some Unilocal Elite friends, that introduced me to other fellow elites there! I actually wondered if it was unexpectedly an elite event and I just didn’t know. I guess we’re everywhere =P

I signed up recently to receive emails on talks & open forum conversations, free and paid events. I love to attend something that I normally don’t if it will better me as a person or perspective on life. I want to a 5 panel speaker event they had a few months ago and loved it. It was after work and they had snacks and it was really informative. I’ve made an effort to attend at least one event each month. That’s not really that bad, but it allows me to open up my horizons a little more. They have a variety of different ones you should check it out.

Visited LMHQ for two events recently so far — Both this month. Had not heard of them previously. I was told they are not quite a co-working space, but a space that can be rented for meetings(?) It’s on the 20th floor & fits about 50 comfortably in the one main area I saw, to the left of the reception area & kitchenette. Annual membership fee runs you $ 1,800, or $ 30 /day. Bright & clean space.
