Love my haircut! Kristeia worked her magic to add some lovely layers to add volume and fullness to my otherwise flat and limp hair. She also made sure that it is easy for me to upkeep everyday, i.e. I don’t have to style it or do anything, just wash, dry and it is good to go.
Kristeia gives you the utmost attention. Not only that, Kristeia is super fun to work with. She’s friendly, personable, and has lots of funny stories to share.
The salon space is very comfortable — clean, spacious with really high ceiling, and artfully decorated.
I would definitely visit Kristeia again soon!

So happy I found Kristeia! First, she is a lovely person with a great sense of humor. Second, I LOVE my hair. I can honestly say that I have not had this great of a cut in years. My hair is thin, long and wavy (frizz city when I let it dry on its own), but this cut somehow tamed those fly-​aways. I don’t know how she did it! I completely trust my hair in her hands.

Second trip to Kristeia and this time I was ready for a hair STYLE rather than my usual trim. Kristeia and I had shared a few ideas earlier in the week and she was ready and I was willing and I am so happy with the result. Similar to last visit, the studio was clean, quiet, and personal. Kristeia is decisive, supportive, and efficient. Hope you others will meet her!

Kristeia was just wonderful! My friend saw her for the first time for some highlights a few weeks ago and recommended her. So, I gave it a shot and was very pleased. Funky, boutique setting and one on one attention. She’s does it all from start to finish. Very personalized which was nice! She was quick and knew what she was doing. Bonus she is super cool and makes you feel 100% comfortable.
I had highlights and an ombré effect done by someone else 5 weeks prior at another salon in NJ. I decided to see Kristeia to freshen up and «fix» the things I didn’t like about the color. I was very happy with the results and will be seeing her again in a few months for a touch-​up… Or maybe a new look!

I’ve lived in NYC for almost 10 years. I spent the first few years bouncing from salon to salon, looking for the right stylist. Someone that could not only style fine, short hair, and make it easy for me to style it daily, but also someone that is a joy to spend time with. I finally found that person in Kristeia! Have been her client for a few years now and just love her. Also had her style my hair and my wedding party last year. She did a fantastic job with an array of hair types and my family just loved her. She was a tremendous asset to my special day. I can’t recommend her enough.

This beautiful private salon/​studio offers a personalized experience which made me feel like a million bucks. My appointment was on time and I was greeted with a smile and an offer of a beverage. I enjoyed the one on one attention without a room full of other clients running around with foil all over their heads.
Kristeia took the time to listen to what I had in mind and offer her professional opinion which turned out to be right on point! She has an eye for the details, and she pointed out exactly what style would work for my face.

Finally got my hair cut after procrastinating for a year! Really loved the one on one attention of this hair salon. It’s a private suite so no distracting noises, people walking by, etc. my hair cut is what I wanted, layered med length hair. Appointment was right on time, so no waiting around. got right to consultation after I was offered a refreshing beverage. Very happy I found this salon. Definitely recommend to everyone! I get my color and cuts done by Kristeia. She’s honest and passionate about her work. I get a lot of compliments on my hair and I have to thank her for that.

I decided I was going to stop straightening my hair and let my natural curls grow out, I found Kristeia on Unilocal through her old salon and I told her I wanted some beachy blonde highlights and a good face framing cut for my curls and she did exactly that and the compliments have not stopped coming!!! Totally recommend.

I have been going to Kristeia since I moved to New York in 2014. She is a fantastic hair stylist, cuts quickly which I like and styles hair beautifully (challenge for me as I have very straight hair). She’s now branched out on her own and her space is charming and tranquil. Kristeia will ‘get’ your hair right away and give you the perfect cut/​colour/​blow dry. She’s also warm and relaxed and great to talk during your chair visit! Highly recommended.

Kristeia is awesome! Prior to meeting Kristeia, I had wandered New York for 2 years from hairdresser to hairdresser. I am so glad to have found her. She has a great style (it’s so hard to get a simple, clean cut with my head), personable, and also hilarious. I came to see Kristeia after some mutual friends told me about her. I’ve always done my own hair because I’m extremely picky! She made me feel right at ease. I told her I wanted layers all over and she suggested partial layering to ad volume without looking like an 80’s rocker lol.
Her blow out was SO relaxing and honestly lasted for 3 days! Her scalp massage was da bomb and to top it all off she’s very personable and funny!

It was my first time yesterday to visit a salon since I transferred here to NYC. I wasn’t hesitant at all to go and get my hair done with Kristeia since she’s been the hairstylist of my friends and my spouse, and their hair looks absolutely gorgeous!
When I told her the hairstyle that I wanted, which i kind of badly explained to her (dont blame me, I’m kind of confused!). Well, despite of my confusion, Kristeia looks like she already know what to do. She cut my hair carefully and expertly (without the tugging and that brisk brushing that I get from the former stylists!).
After, a couple of minutes, I was really impressed! I got the haircut that I actually wanted! It wasn’t longer nor shorter than I wanted it to be, it was just perfect!
