Awesome burgers, some guys in the office go there everyday for lunch.

I had the vegetarian burger. It was flavorless and it just sucked. The fries were great though. Their bathroom light wasn’t working so they informed me to another bathroom down the hall. I would come back only to eat their burgers. But as for the vegetarian, not worth the price you pay.

NAUSEA! This is what I felt after I ordered my food. Why, you may ask? Okay, so I’ve been here before and the food is decent — just decent. The staff is fine and the place is pretty big. Today, after a class, me and a friend went to eat a burger before we went home. Worst mistake. I ordered a basic plain hamburger and cheese fries and my friend ordered a cheese burger and regular fries. Then we went to take our seat to wait for the arrival of our food… We put the napkins on our table and look away. After I look bad, guess what I see on my napkin. A COCKROACH! As I jump up with disgust, I see another one on the wall. WHYARETHERECOCKROACHESAT A RESTAURANT. It was so absolutely disgusting. They need to call an exterminator or something maybe the health department because I will never eat there. I’m pretty sure not a lot of people would want to eat where there are many cockroaches just hanging around. Beware. if I had the option to give negative stars, I would.

I came here for lunch before school and i ordered a hamburger with fries. The line was short unlike shake shack ever is. The burger was very good! The same as shake shack but less lines! The prices were decent and they even bring the burgers to your table which was nice! The only downside is the fries were kind of regular. Nothing extraordinary. However, i enjoyed my lunch here. Kudos!

We were in the neighborhood and decided to give Schnippers a try for lunch. Ordering at the counter was easy. The employees were friendly. After we ordered we were told to sit wherever we liked. We were given a sensor and told our food would be delivered to our table. I ordered the Chicken Filet Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. My daughter had the basic Cheese Burger and regular Fries. We both thought the food was tasty and filling. They did run out of ketchup. No one kept the dispenser full. My fries came to the table late. I ate them for desert. I’m not sure what the hold up was. They were worth the wait! I did feel the place could be cleaner. Especially at the front door. The door windows had grease hand prints all over them. It looked like the doors had not been cleaned in a while. Same for under the tables. The table top was clean where I went to sit. I didn’t check out the rest of the place. It was only a little after twelve pm. My opinion the space should have been cleaned the night before. It is a big space. I’d like to try Schnippers again. My next visit will be the Lexington location. From what I could see looking in the window the space on Lexington looks more intimate. Less space to keep clean!

Steps away from the overrated, long-lined Shake Shack and just as good. I’ve had a lot of burgers, and this place is as good as any for the price. Right across the street from Madison Square Park and its overrated Shake Shack, this place is just as good, if not better, without the lines. Do yourself a favor, if you’re craving a burger in the Flatiron area, come to Schnipper’s and get some takeout, and eat it in the park. You’re welcome.

Never a disappointment when you get their sloppy joes, this time I got the«sloppy fries,» it’s sooooooo* good. It definitely filled me up and love their happy hour $ 2 Brooklyn lager to go with my fries! A must try!

With all the fierce competition of burgers in NY, I have to say Schnipper did not hold it’s own weight when it came to the other giants such as Shake Shack, Bearburgers or even McDonald. When I had their burgers(for delivery), I found my burger to be saturated with fat. Not only in my patty but in the buns and cheese as well. I felt like I was eating a ball of grease. So much so that I had to throw at lease 1⁄3 of my burger away. I also had their side mac n’ cheese and it was absolutely gross. More worst then airplane food. My cheese was all dry up and harden. It was so tough that when I was trying to pick it up with my fork, it was stuck and would not come off. Flavor wise, it was lacking. All I felt like I was eating were slices of cheddar cheese melted on elbows.

Great burgers, hot dogs, and salads at a fair price. I love Chop’t but sometimes tire of their salads. The ingredients here are particularly fresh and the onion rings are among the best I’ve eaten anywhere. A friend wanted to stop for lunch en route to Lazzoni in Chelsea and I went along. He claims that I stole four rings. This is a lie. He gave me one. I stole the second. I’m not in the area much but when I am and want a quick bite, I will stop in again.

I am a regular here(mostly because off the Mac and Joe), because the food is so great, the service is quick, there is tons of seating, and the prices are pretty good for the portion and quality of the food. I go to school really near the area and this is my go-to spot for dinner. They have great $ 2 draft beer specials during the week, which is even cheaper than a fountain soda and the cashiers and staff who brings you your food are always really friendly and nice. I also love the technology they are using that finds your table. You don’t need to wait for your name to be called or wait on line for your food to be ready. You can relax with your friends(or by yourself, which is what I do mostly) and wait for your food to arrive, hot and fresh to your table. It’s great to bring friends or grab a quick bite in between work and school. And it’s a better alternative to all of the bad fast food chains in that area.

No longer spending a lot of money on food. Too many let downs. I am happy to say my first fast food trip in this new year was quite excellent. Shakes, and the burger with cheese and bacon was juicy, the meat was very flavorful and the roll was soft, fresh and full of flavor too. Overall a very good burger. Nice, friendly workers too all saying ‘thank you and ‘happy new year’. Yeah, my type of place. Give Jean/Georges Nougatine some lessons, would ya. I don’t normally eat red meat or bacon but hey, life’s short, friends. Give Schnipper’s a visit. I’m starting this new year unhealthy, stuffing my face with whatever pleases me, and ending it… fat.

Came to Schnipper’s on a Tuesday night with a large group of friends. There is plenty of seating and I am surprised at how big the space is. Between the ten of us, we got a variety of food, burgers, fries, sandwiches, mac and cheese and sloppy joe. The food is overpriced. My order of a crispy chicken sandwich and regular fries came out to be ~$ 14. The sandwich was bigger than I expected and probably needed a little bit more sauce. I got the fries thinking they were the shoe string fries(as the menu claims in the description) but they were just usual fries… They also have a wide condiment selection available. The service is also a hit or miss. I was the first one to order food within my group of friends and it took 20 mins for my sandwich to be made and brought to me. Although I wasn’t in a rush, I did expect faster service considering this is a fast food joint. Not to mention how there weren’t that many customers coming in.

Essentially, a fast food burger joint. Each location of Schnipper’s may have a slightly different menu, some larger, some smaller. Mostly, it’s burgers with some salads, a few sandwiches, and a speckle of other items such as fish & chips, and their infamous mac’n sloppy joe. I ordered the Green Chile Burger, which had a plain burger bun, inferior beef, a clump of «special cheese blend», and a few measly diced green chiles($ 6.99, 2.5 stars). The chicken, lettuce and tomato on ciabatta bread looked great, but left me high & dry($ 7.99, 3.5 stars), onion rings were beautiful but overdone($ 4.75, 3.0 stars), and the mac’n joe was way subpar($ 7.99, 2.0 stars). Spacious, the interior is worn and just not a great experience. Overall, it was a disappointment. «Quality kitchen» sure wasn’t seen by me.

When Shake Shack is no longer a viable options due to the agitating chills of the New York winter, Schnipper’s becomes a great option. Bonus points for the lack of long lines, plentiful seating areas, more food options, and delivery service on Seamless. Everything I have tried here so far was worth the money — the milkshakes and sandwiches are filling and full of fresh ingredients. My regular is the veggie sandwich and the strawberry milkshake. The staff aren’t the friendliest, but they get the job done. The store has a spacious space for mid-Manhattan and plenty of seating unlike nearby sandwich/burger joints. I definitely recommend for a lunch break/snack/serious milkshake cravings.

I don’t come here as often as I would probably like to — but Schnipper’s Quality Kitchen is definitely quality for being a few notches up from fast food places like McDonald’s or Burger King. I’ve had the cheeseburger here about 2 times, tossed back a few beers, enjoyed their Crispy chicken tenders, french fries and most recently, tried their side of mac n’ cheese. Their burgers are actually really, really good. Although it’s been quite some time since I’ve eaten it — I do remember it being quality meat that was seasoned throughly, cooked well, super juicy and flavorful. You can tell from just walking by that their burgers are going to be great since the aroma of seasoned beef tends to wander outside of the restaurant and straight into the noses of unsuspecting New Yorkers nearby. Their Crispy Chicken Fingers are also juicy, flavorful and really great. Their Crispy Chicken Fingers meal with french fries and a side of sauce(your options include honey mustard, ranch, ketchup, mayo — the usual) makes for a yummy meal that — although not healthy — really delicious and filling… definitely a solid portion. Their mac n’ cheese is okay. It’s no Popeye’s or Boston Market, but in a pinch it gets the job done. It has good flavor, creamy saucy texture, the elbow pasta is nice and reminds me of childhood but the cheese itself is a tad powdery — even more than Kraft box mac when I’ve made it… I feel like if they added actual melted cheeses into the mix, made it a 3 – 4 cheese blend and added $ 2 more to the price in order to compensate for better quality — their mac could really have some potential. All in all, employees here are really friendly, customer service is great and the quality of their food is consistent. Two thumbs up for Schnipper’s!

3.5 stars. I usually just get burgers here(and they’re amazing) but I wasn’t too hungry so I got the side of mac & cheese yesterday and it wasn’t great. It tasted like it came out of a can from summer camp. If you want a solid burger without any hassle you’ve come to the right place. If you want literally anything else… don’t bother. Burgers are what these guys are great at but that’s really it.

Soooo overpriced. I got a salad… I think it was chipotle or something else that was spicy. To add chicken it was like $ 3. I got my $ 14 salad and it was ok. The chicken piece was super small. It was tasty, but definitely not worth $ 14. My friends all got burgers and they spent a lot of money for just a plain burger. It didn’t come with fries or anything, either. I won’t be back.

Just a fast food place that serves an array of fatty items. Burgers, fried chicken, chicken sandwiches and cheese fries. Nothing amazing and nothing special. The chicken bacon melt is served on a brioche bun. Lots of bacon but unfortunately the chicken was charred and burnt. Tasted terrible. Cheese fries and sweet potato fries are good. Servers must be new, since they had no idea if the chicken on the chicken bacon melt was either fried or grilled. Pass on another visit.

I came here with some friends in between classes. I ordered a cheeseburger, sweet potato fries, a beer, and root beer float. Yas! Fatty day! It was so delicious. I polished off the everything without a hitch. I love American food, especially since one of my friends did NOT wanna go to Shake Shack, which is sacrilege to me but she could do Schnipper’s. It was a great substitute. I will definitely be stopping back here again. It was my first time to Schnipper’s. I know they are known for their sloppy joe’s but I really wanted a burger so next time I will order a sloppy joe. We came here at about 1:30 p.m. and the lunch crew just about to be done at 2:00 p.m. We didn’t have a problem finding a seat for the 5 of us.

Honestly, if I had to choose between this place and the shake shack that was once in Madison square park, I would totally choose this over shake shack. The burgers are less greasy(still juicy) and you don’t have that long line to wait in. The burgers as also bigger and the buns .Yum! The theme is industrial like, pretty cool and different. You order at the register and they will bring your food to you. Or of course you can order to go. It is a big venue, so if you have a big party, this will be a great place to take them. Hickory bacon clue burger –I am not a huge fan of blue cheese, but I am a fan of this burger! –Very juicy and I like the blue cheese sauce is not over powering. –The sauce and cheese was very runny so I suggest getting a lot of napkins and definitely have a plate under you or it will be a big mess. –I absolutely loved the fried onions. –Make sure you ask for medium. Bacon cheese burger –I had this one medium just like the Hickory. –Was not as oily as the Hickory bacon, but I think it was because the cheesed used here was different. Still had great taste and flavorful. –The bun, like the Hickory, was soft and tasteful. Not like a normal burger bun, less fluffy, but I loved it. Fries –Love these skinny mini fries. Same type that they have at McDonalds, but of course they taste fresher. Overall great experience and I enjoyed everything I have gotten here so far.
