Not impressed in the least. The only redeeming item was the shake and that just barely.

Not bad for a quick breakfast sandwich. They had a number of options and the prices were reasonable. Seems a little fresher and healthier(though probably not) than a lot of other quick stops.

The place is very clean and prices are reasonable! The meat of the burger def don’t taste like outside fast food burgers, haha. They actually ask if you would like it well done, medium or rare. Normally a lot of places that aren’t restaurant-like and is a fast food kind of place, wouldn’t even bother to ask and that’s one thing I like about it here is that I have a choice of how I want my burger patty to be done. Plus they have a lot of self serve different kinds of sauce. It’s very good! Def, the Bowery burger :)!

New York has too many fabulous places to eat to bother with this place again. Tasteless Black Bean Burger. Pass.

Nothing great, overpriced burgers that don’t taste any better. The kitchen resembles a car assembly line with Mexican workers assembling standard burger recipes.

Check it. I rolled up and was hit with that bright red of the place like WOAH. You get there, decent service in the front. The girl took my order and repeated it to ensure it was right. You walk over and the wait was long, but worth it. They made my burger and chicken sandwich right there! CONSISTENCY. This place kills it every time with delicious food. I get the burger well done, and it is perfect. My chicken was cooked well, juicy and cooked all the way through. BIGFANOFTHESAUCES. Check the NY Burger Co sauce, it is delicious on a slab of beef. Mix it with bbq and ketchip and it’s DYN-O-MITE. Only downfall is it is a little pricey. I paid $ 18 for two sandwiches and a soda. Besides the price, it tasted delicious. Money well spent I guess.

Came across this little place while visiting NYC. Burgers cooked to order and very yummy fries. I had the Bacon, cheeseburger. I ordered it med-well as I like my burgers more on the well done side. It was cooked perfectly. The fries are between McD’s skinny fries & thicker steak fries. They were excellent!!! As others have mentioned the«sauce bar» offers wonderful options. In addition to a lovely pesto, creamy horseradish &1,000 Island they also served red onions & pickle slices. Great little lunch place on a quiet, rainy weekend. Highly recommend.

I subjected myself to being a victim of the shameful $ 15 dollar Manhattan Lunch special– it was pretty tasty but definitely not worth my $ 15 bucks. I ordered the Tribeca Burger — avocado, bacon and blue cheese with a side of fries and a fountain soda. I liked the flavor of the toppings together but the burger itself was burnt in a few places. It was also made lightening fast so that made me give them the side eye as well. I liked that you could do the toppings yourself at the condiment bar — so I was able to try a few different sauces with my fries — I think I enjoyed the honey chipotle the most. A cool thing that they do is give you a 10 visit /$ 10 minimum punch card to get a free meal after reaching 10 visits. I guess it gives incentive to those who don’t mind spending that amount of money on lunch all the time. I’d return but if I’m ever in the mood for a burger I’d probably just go to shake shack which is way more affordable and tastes better.

Decided to try this place for lunch since it’s right by my office. I’ve never been a huge fan of burgers, but places like Chewy’s(a food truck in Philly) and Shake Shack have recently converted me. The burger I had here reminded me why I never used to like burgers — though it wasn’t that bad, it was a bit dry. Also tried the sweet potato fries… they were so greasy and disgusting that I ate less than half of them before throwing them away. On the plus side, there was no line on both occasions I came here so I never had to wait long for my food.

When did it become cool to charge ~$ 9-$ 10 for a burger. Sans fries. And then not serve it to you at your table? Maybe this is a(block away) shake shack phenomenon. Its going to be tough to impress me at this price point for this kind of food, and this kind of(lack of) service. It wasn’t bad service per se, it just didnt exist. Sorry I don’t buy this gourmet burger fad. Nothing against ny burger co, but I think the whole concept sucks. If I’m paying $ 13 for my burger + fries, it will be at a sketchy yet trendy bar. Or I’ll go to McDonalds.

There are a lot of great burgers in NYC. This isn’t one of them. But it is among the pretty good burgers of NYC, so it’ll do the trick when you’re broke and in a hurry. Also, it poops all over most of the burgers in its price range, if only because the condiment selection is FAR superior. Chili ketchup? Chipotle honey? C’mon now. In my experience, the staff also is surprisingly personable and efficient, and sometimes they even cook your burger correctly. You’re OK by me, NYBC.

Wanted to try it on a whim. My wallet took a punch… Six dollars for an «OK» burger. It was nothing special. I got the combo of onion rings and drink. Totaled up 11 – 12 dollars. Spacious inside. Staff did their job, as speedy as possible. I think there’s 12 – 15 complimentary sauces for you to choose from to go with your burgers, pickles, etc. Bunch of stuff in the back to add to your burger/fries and such. I think that was the pro of this place. Minus two stars: –OK food. Wallet took a hurting. –Just felt like a regular Manhattan lunch.

I’ve eaten here a couple times, but both times I’ve been underwhelmed. This place does different burgers(mainly beef) that can be taken out or eaten at the tables in the front or back. It gets crowded around lunchtime, but I’m not sure why — the burgers here are unremarkable, which is bad considering that the basic offering goes for near $ 7, and you’ll brush double digits if you get one of the specialty burgers. The turkey burger is pretty standard, but it doesn’t really stand out for anything other than making me wonder why I have to pay $ 7 for a standard-sized burger. I also got a beef iteration of the Tribeca burger, minus the blue cheese. The beef patty is one of the plainest I’ve ever had, and somehow the avocado was turned into something lacking any flavor. Even adding the ‘burger sauce’ from the assorted choices didn’t light up the sandwiches with flavor. It’s nice to have a shop devoted to the art of the burger, but I’ll stick with a closer choice(like Shake Shack, or, if there’s a long like, Fresh & Fast) that does a better job. New York Burger Co. pales in comparison, and the price they charge doesn’t justify the quality.

They raised the prices since last coming here and the burgers were never amazing to begin with. Like I said in my previous review I used to come here once in a blue for lunch and get a mini burger with a handful of fries it’s called«little deal». It made me feel better about eating a burger because the burger is tiny and it only comes with enough fries a perfect lunch without feeling overly full and obese. It use to cost about $ 6. Went in recently and it’s now about $ 8 for a tiny burger and fries and drink. The portion is enough for me but it makes more sense $$-wise to get the larger burger Combo for a couple bucks more. Dammit I don’t want a larger burger! The larger burger is about 3 times the size of the little burger. I also branched out and got a burger with avocado on it and guess what it’s avocado paste not pieces of avocado ewe. If u are watching your waistline and have a fat wallet you will like this place.

Based on word of mouth, most said NY Burger was a good alternative. Came with Unilocalers Sam B. & Hans H. Food: 3.5÷5 –Tribeca burger(cherrywood smoked bacon, blue cheese & avocado). The combination of bacon, avocado and beef was delicious. I’m neutral about blue cheese but I’m thankful it wasn’t overwhelming. –Sweet potato fries: you get plenty of fries and they’re delicious. I just couldn’t finish it all cause the burger was oversized. Dips: 4⁄5 –Curry mustard: hint of curry and not overwhelming –chipotle honey: okay, not sure why people like it so much –basil pesto: this was delicious, light and flavorful At $ 13 for a meal, I’d recommend going over to Shake Shack.

Just tried this place out for the first time today as our company bought us all lunch for coming in on this snowy day. Had the Mango Grilled Chicken which came on a brioche style bun with mango pepper salsa. Also had the sweet potato fries. A decent lunch on a cold a wet day, plus it was delivered to our office pretty quickly. Can’t complain as the chicken was juicy and tasty. Others here ordered the burgers and said they are pretty good too. I’ll have to try this place out again to order a burger and taste all the sauces.

Maybe it’s just me, but i don’t think so. I’ve had burgers here a few times and neither time were they amazing. I though they were pretty basic burgers and the prices were quite high for just a decent, basic burger. I’ve had much better burgers, in fact my my mom makes burgers that top this place. I wouldn’t avoid this place, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Nothing special.

3.5 stars. 67 burger in Fort Greene is so much better. New York Burger co is ok. I like that they cook the burgers to order. I love that they have a shitton of sauces, and sauces are awesome… not the sauces at NY Burger Co necessarily, just sauces in general. Anyway…here’s what I had: 1) Chicago burger– This came dressed with thousand island dressing and bacon, two ingredients which should have made the burger out of this world good, and it was good enough… but 67 burger in Fort Greene is so much better. Not enough bacon either. The one thing that was really good though was the bun. I’m all about buns. This was a quality bun. 2) French Fries– They were good I suppose, but I prefer my fries less heavy, and more crispy… but hey… this is coming from a person who thinks mcdonald’s has some of the best fries anywhere so take that for what it’s worth. 3) About 15 different sauces– They were all pretty interesting and definitely worth a try but my favorites were the chipotle honey, mango curry, and horseradish. Final note… I found the servers to be rude. And I am not at all high mantinence. Maybe they were having an off day, who knows. Overall: hm… did I mention 67 burger in Fort Greene?

Working up the block from here helps when you are craving a good burger and don’t want to stand on line for an hour and a half. My lunch break is an hour so when I’m in the mood for a fresh burger, I hit up this small chain. The burgers and sweet potato fries are always fresh and served fast. You CANNOT go wrong with thousand island dressing all over your burger, fries and your face.
