DO NOT GO HERE! Let me start by saying, I don’t even know if this is the exact restaurant I ordered from. If you look them up on seamless web, or you google their address, three or four different restaurants come up and they’re all under the same roof. (sounds like a ponzi scheme to me). Well, I ordered the food…$ 65 for chicken strips, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I was expecting some good stuff. Well, 2 hours later they never showed up. I called back and they couldn’t find where my order was but remembered me calling. They said they would send it out quickly… an hour and a half later my food finally showed up. It was okay, but everything was thrown around, the sides were mixed in with the chicken and it wasn’t worth $ 65. I called the place back to complain and they answered under one of their other names (which really confused me). They told me that they would credit me for my meal next time I called in as a courtesy… Well, I called back to get my credit and they acted like I had never done business with them. (I still had my receipt for that horrid night.) The manager agreed to send me a meal for all the troubles, and when it got there I ended up getting two small pieces of chicken and a couple spoonfuls of sides, once again mixed in with the chicken. Since I was feeding my boyfriend and I, we had to end up getting food from somewhere else that night. They ended up comping me for $ 10 with a meal like that after I paid $ 65 plus tip for my first one. If you run across this place stay away. They also have restaurants under this address called «Table 12» and «BBQ Pit.» Don’t make the same mistake I did.

The food is great, but that’s all. it’s way too expensive and I am right now waiting for a lunch that I ordered at 1PM… it’s 10 minutes to 3PM. and all they said was sorry for the delay and that of course was after I called them to ask what happened.
That’s inexcusable!

AWFUL!!! Messed up my order and refused to replace it. Also cursed at me over the phone.

I have ordered from Kool Bloo MANY times, and although never THRILLED with the food, it was quick and inexpensive.
I just received a salad that i’ve ordered on several occasions. Usually there is an entire breast of grilled chicken on it. Tonight, there are a couple tiny, tiny chunks of chicken. Certainly not what I would call a chicken breast, for a salad that cost me $ 16.
I called Kool Bloo to let them know I was unhappy. The nice guy who answers my call said he’d send me a side of chicken. 30 minutes later, he calls me back, informing me that the manager checked with the cook, who claimed that he put 5oz of chicken on it, so he refuses to send me the chicken that I paid for.
After being a customer of this place for years, I will NEVER order from Kool Bloo again.

Wow, so glad I just looked at the seemlessweb reviews as opposed to consulting Unilocal.Why so many negative reviews? I ordered the Greek Salad with grilled chicken and I found my choice to be completely satisfactory. Not only that, the delivery was very quick.
I am however deducting one star because they are pretty over-​priced for the amount of food they deliver. I’ve ordered salads this size before and they’re usually no more than $ 12 — this one was $ 16!

Stopped here to grab some breakfast because I was in a hurry. Sad mistake. First, they tried to charge me $ 15 for the vegout egg wrap, which was listed as $ 6.95 on the giant wall menu. Then they tried to charge me $ 9. Third time’s the charm, FINALLY got it right. That on its own, no big deal. But THE FOOD. Undercooked breakfast potatoes. HOW do you ruin breakfast potatoes? I only got through them because I was sooo hungry. The wrap wasn’t awful, but definitely nothing above mediocre. Really wish I had just hopped across the street to try Ciao for Now. Next time.

you get two stars for the nice patient guy with me on the phone while i complain about the food twice… first time at 2 am i went to pick up a potato leek soup and mashed potatoes… 11 dollars, I was willing to pay because i’m sick and hungry. I just want to start off saying that food from the frozen aisle is better off than the food here. The potato leek soup was potato and leeks in some cheap caned broth… I had this soup earlier today from a different restaurant and it was creamy warm and delicious but not here it was chopped up vegetables in watery msg substance. The mash was the worst mashed I’ve ever eaten. It was smothered in sour cream and tasted rotten. SO they delivered another order of food as compensation… really resistant to give me a refund… the mashed was potatoes with no salt or butter… just potatoes mashed in a container… maybe i ordered mashed potatoes but is it supposed to just be potatoes mashed up? The split pea had white stuff in it so i called and he said it was vegetables but there’s black stuff in it on the bottom of my soup… say whaaa? I can’t call to complain again dude… sick of this shit. almost 4am bro… cant do this anymore… been two hours back and four-thing.I want a refund and thier not going to give it to me… Dont order from here when you are sick, waste of time and dis-​satisfaction from the food…

Consistently mediocre food. At Table 12, overpriced tea. The only reason to go there is that you can sit for hours and are guaranteed space

Exceedingly horrible. I actually don’t know how this place has stayed in business for so long. I’ve eaten at Kool Bloo twice, once in person and once I’ve gotten delivery. The first time was at the Soho location and it wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good either. This last time, getting delivery from the East Village location, was actually the most terrible delivery experience I’ve ever had.
Here’s what I ordered: 1) a 9oz turkey burger with ketchup, mayo, pickles and tomato all on the side. I said, please make my burger plain and put all the condiments on the side.
2) a spinach salad with chicken and avocado, with balsamic dressing on the side.
3) though this is not a food item, this is important, not only did I write in CAPS to not ring my doorbell, but to call instead when the food arrived, as I did not want to wake people in my house, but I also called the restaurant personally and let them know how important it was the my doorbell not be rung. I was assured that they would call me when the food arrived.
Here’s what I got: 1) a dry 9oz turkey burger with ketchup and mayo on the burger rather than on the side. On the side I got pickles tomato and avocado, I’m assuming this was the avocado meant for my salad because my salad didn’t have any.
2) a spinach salad with outrageously salty chicken and what can only be described as a teaspoon of salad dressing in the tiniest container I’ve ever seen. Missing avocado… hmm…where could it be? Oh, there it is, two tiny slivers, which cost $ 3 in the container with the burger sides.
3) a RING OF MY DOORBELL. I was in utter shock. This, the most important part of the order, the thing I called the restaurant about which they assured me would not happen, happens. I open the door to an apathetic delivery guy and ask him if he did not know that by no means was he supposed the ring my doorbell. He shrugs. He literally shrugs. No apology, no «sorry I wasn’t informed of that,» no nothing but a f***ing shrug.
Oh, and for this beyond subpar food, the cost was $ 23. Never, ever, ever, again.

Ewwww! Extremely overpriced for the portion size and the food is rancid! I couldn’t eat it. And from the look of all these other reviews, there would be no luck in calling them to complain, cause they wouldn’t do anything about it. I cant understand how they are even in business still? It baffles me!

Not so great wings, but super-​fast delivery.

Ridiculously overpriced, mediocre food. I’d give it one star, but the 24 hour delivery is nice.

The menu is huge! Who knew there were so many varieties of a chicken sandwich. 5 of us ordered delivery and it didn’t take long — probably about 30 minutes. There weren’t any mistakes in our order so no complaints there.
I got a grilled chicken sandwich with Swiss and avocado. The sandwich was a perfect size, a little bigger than average, but the cheese and avocado barely covered half of the chicken. This made for a pretty dry sandwich. Wish they didn’t skimp on the toppings!

Ruining a midnight snack is a crime.
This is the worst and most overpriced food in the East Village. They’re open 24 hours so you might be tempted due to the smaller selection at the time. DON“T DO IT. We got two lard soaked grilled cheeses and chicken strips without sauce for $ 31!!! And when I say soaked, I mean the grease seeped through 4 layers of paper and aluminum foil and the menu in the bag looked like it had gone swimming.
I paid extra for tasiki (you know, that yummy greek white sauce) for the chicken strips and they forgot that too. Who eats chicken tenders without sauce?! I called and demanded my money back but I was already half way through my lard soaked grilled cheese. What can I say, I was that hungry. I regret it now as I write this review with a tummy ache and a plate of cold, dipless chicken tenders.
I’m contemplating wrapping my cats’ poop in the grilled cheese wrapper and give it to the delivery boy to send back to Kool Bloo when he comes back with the sauces.
Would that be bad karma?

Don’t ever order from this establishment. My friends and I ordered a chicken gyro platter with fries and a salad, after a nice out. Let’s start by discussing the salad. First off, it was romaine sprinkled with two slices of cucumber and two bell peppers slices, was there a shortage of cucumber and bell peppers in the New York, tri-​state area? Oh and a single, tiny grape tomato! Then when we went to eat the salad we realized that they had not given us one piece of plastic utensils! We had to use our hands. :/
Now we’ll move along to the chicken, if that is what you’d like to call it. We were slightly confused between which was the pita bread and the chicken. The chicken seemed to have been manufactured, flattened and then carved with a pickled shaped cookie cutter. Served a top (the one good thing in the entire meal) French fries, which were mediocre at best.

The food isn’t amazing, and I was about to give this place 2 stars.
However. It’s 3am and I just ordered a crispy chicken burger with sweet curry sauce and sauteed onions with a side of mac n cheese. I am going to be in my apt eating it in approximately two minutes.
So…yeah.

Amazingly big menu for ordering in. The wraps and smoothies are great and the mac & cheese platters they do are awesome. Delivery can be a little timely but it always arrives hot. Plus if you get home at 4am and are starving they will still deliver!
