Worst place ever. Will never return. We got the genuine Groupon treat you like a red-headed step child treatment and flat out had to leave. The staff could not have been more unprofessional once we told them we had a groupon.

I arrived at this restaurant at 12pm. There were only a few customers eating. I saw down right away as the place wasn’t that busy. The waitress gave me an iPod to order food. Using it was straightforward. I ordered the taro tempura, shumai, fried fish, peanut avocado hand roll, Philadelphia hand roll, sweet potato hand roll, spicy crab hand roll, spicy tuna hand roll and mango pudding. The lunch was $ 16, which can be considered cheap. I would recommend coming here again.

We finally ate at my favorite sushi joint. Our experience was sub par from our previous 5 visits. We had the AYCE sushi dinner. –Service was slow and our orders came out 15 minutes later for multiple orders throughout the night. This felt unusual because our previous visits weren’t this bad. The downside is that we didn’t get to really enjoy our dinner since our food was limited with more wait time. –The servers were nice to let us know there were delays. –It was very busy when we visited. –Another guest from across the room was giving me the stink eye for no reason. I think she was having a fight with her date. –Food was good but prepared a bit messy. I did enjoy the selection. The sushi wasn’t presented as nicely as before. –Unfortunately, we didn’t get to eat much and so I didn’t feel it was worth $ 28 per person, tax and tips. –I enjoy the deserts and for me the green tea ice cream is a nice way to end a meal. Perfectly bittersweet and creamy. I’m disappointed with my experience and feel the service quality has gone down. We like this restaurant as we’ve been locals for two years now, and hope our review can bring improvements in the future.

This place is by far the best sushi AYCE I’ve been to in NYC. They have unlimited sashimi, that is a plusplusplus! Although the price went up from 15 to 16 for lunch, I think it is still very worth it — because SASHIMIIIII!!! The way of ordering is very neat, because it is via the ipad! The wait time is reasonable and according to the amount of customers. Compared to dinner time, the lunch price is more worth it unless you are down to pay 28 dollars to have the same menu + tuna sashimi + cold crab legs. **CON: I also went with my little sister who’s 9 years old, she didn’t get a children’s price because she was a little taller than the set requirement — which is the only downside, because she doesn’t eat a lot and still was charged as an adult — which didn’t seem fair.

I recommended Kikoo Sushi to a good friend of mine who happens to be African American. He told me that he had an extremely bad experience there with the staff, who made him feel very unwelcome and discriminated against while dined with his wife. I am truly very embarrassed to have recommended Kikoo and I will not be returning in the future. Shame on you, Kikoo!

Average sushi taste. Nothing great or out of the ordinary. The all you can eat is a good thing but let’s be honest. Who eats that much anyway lol. The service could be definitely better. On 2 different occasion I literally had to call the waitresses for taking my order and asking for my bill.

My prayers have been answered! AYCE sushi is a-plenty in NJ and even in the boroughs of NYC, but I had not seen an AYCE restaurant in NYC before(no folks, Ichi Umi does not count. That food is not prepared to order). Then I come across Kikoo, and I now have reason to celebrate. Kikoo adds a more modern(and environmentally-friendly) touch with the ability to order via iPads. It’s very easy, you just hit your selections, and then it is automatically sent to the chefs who will prepare everything for you fresh. We must have ordered 20+ pieces of their salmon sushi. Same goes with the eel avocado rolls. Those were our personal faves. The crab salad was good, but the quantity is a tad stingy. The ONLY downside is that they limit you to order 10 rolls/items at a time. But once you select 10 and submit the order, you can immediately order another. We did not realize this our first time around, so we sat around waiting for the order to come before ordering again(silly newbies).

Had a groupon and was a great deal for AYCE. I recommend this place if you have the Groupon but the price is the same in the store only you don’t get the free drinks. Their sushi was decent and their deserts were pretty good too(got 3 orders of the green tea). For those complaining about serving sizes, you realize you can just order more. right? The ordering via ipad was awesome and so convienent! I do compliment the waitresses. The table next to us had some drunk mid-20s hooligans that made an absolute mess of their table. One boy(I refuse to call them men) had their shoes off and was stretched on a chair. Disgusting. Also that boy poured beer all over the table when he was done. After that fiasco, the table was disgusting but the waitress cleaned it up promptly. I think that the resturant should have stopped serving them alcohol before they got to that point even if they are paying customers.

Groupon really sealed the deal for this, along with Groupon 20% off local deal, Ebates, etc. The Groupon included two hours of all you can eat sushi, sashimi, apps, AND your choice of 2 beer, wine, or cold/hot sake. Typically it’s $ 27 for dinner, all you can eat no liquor. The place could have used some better ventilation and AC. When we first walked in around 6:00PM on a Thursday evening the place was pretty busy. Still managed to cop a table. We were handed the iPad of iPads, the holy screen of ordering. Sashimi Kikoo actually has on their iPad because their website mentions a lot more besides the following: Kani, salmon, red snapper, egg, seaweed salad, avocado, tofu skin, tuna, BBQ eel, cucumber, yellowtail, oshinko Yup, they have avocado sashimi… Ordered the red boy roll, pink lady roll, rainbow roll, spicy yellowtail, the rose roll, and two other rolls I don’t recall the name of. All great, chunks of fish, no bones in eel. The pork belly bun was surprisingly good. The deep fried fish balls were okay. You literally get one piece of whatever you order for the sashimi, sushi, and apps, so make sure you tap away till the number of items you want appears. I also enjoyed the chocolate mousse cake, cheesecake, and the lychee and red bean ice cream were good too. The red and white wine come from boxes of Franzia, while the sake gets watered down just before it’s served. This was probably my favorite experience at an all you can eat sushi buffet because there was regularly sized sashimi, the rolls were packed with fish and not rice, the pork belly bun was good, service was fast, and there was liquor involved. They also just give you a small bowl of ginger and wasabi instead of adding it to every plate you’re served. If you want to throw in all you can drink with the all you can eat it’s $ 10 more I believe. Be aware it will cost you an arm and a stomach if you don’t finish your food.

I love this place, reviews here are mixed due to complaints, possibly due to the fact these patrons are unsure where they are. First off, the servers are just that servers, your waiter is the iPad, thats where you order your water/soda and refills, if you need a fork or extra plate you call the server from the iPad, if you need extra ginger or wasabi thats done from yup you guessed it the iPad– places like this(AYCE) look forward to filling up seats with few servers to make tips, typically you’d be waiting a while to get order in and food on table, the method done here simplifies it and is being used in more places ~ if your not ready or willing to use this automated method then this place isn’t for you, or return when it is slower. Now off to the food– lunch is dirt cheap @ $ 16 yupp in Manhattan the offerings are limited but there is sashimi(salmon, kani. No tuna), dinner has the whole offerings @ $ 28 there are groupons but don’t work on Friday/Saturday. Salmon is good, they dont over stuff with rice, and avocado is fresh and creamy, This place is clean, bathrooms are beautiful And well maintained, I will return for Dinner!

AYCE for $ 16 lunch and $ 37 for dinner(drinks included) I went for lunch and the rolls were simple, good and well made. During lunchtime there aren’t many special rolls but there is a good choice of basic rolls. Sashimi is included and there is a pretty good choice of nigiri. Overall this place deserves 4 stars for the price and the fast service. (You order from iPads)

Food was flavorful. Ambience was moderate, well lit, and clean. Quick service received. The avocados were fresh. The Salmon sashimi is ok. The Red Snapper sashimi was fresh. Chicken Tempura was not bad. (Breaded exterior a little bit dry on the inside-a passing grade.) Mushroom Tempura received was not what is advertised(photo shows whole pieces of mushrooms). We received two mushrooms cut in half. The rolls(sweet potato, salmon avocado, and avocado) were good. The Mango Pudding should be called Mango Jelly. The fried banana was excellent. –texture is light and crispy on the outside and a little bit mushy, hot, and firm on the inside. Yum! Accommodations for dining, it’s roomy and clean. There’s two toilets available. If you sit opposite of the vents, be prepared to get a draft-in front of you and in the back of you. Bring a light jacket to cover the back of your neck. Manager, Yes. AYCE. Also, as I’m reading other reviews, thank-you for your attentiveness and concern about customer care. — — — — — — — — — — — 6/11/16-Don’t come! We did use the IPad to order cups of water and soda!!! It took over 15-minutes for two cups of water and a cup of Sprite to arrive. We had to reorder the same items on the IPad. It took 5 minutes for one cup of water to arrive, no straw was given. Then we placed another order for a cup of water and a Sprite. 15-minutes for the cup of Sprite came after we complained. The waitress took our IPads away at 4:30pm. We said wait we were still waiting for our food. We didn’t want to order more food until our previous orders were fulfilled. The waitress just grabbed the IPad and took it away. The waitress who collected the IPads said, too late to order, it’s passed 4:30pm.“ When we entered at 3:45pm, the hostess should’ve informed us that the last order is at 4:30pm. My son and I said we spent most of our time waiting for our orders: fried mushrooms-whole pieces now; sweet potato sushi-over fried; The Wait time to receive our food was tremendously slow. The couple who sat to the right side towards the supply counter were upset and left. They were waiting a long time to get their orders fulfilled-more than 15-minutes. They complained and they didn’t leave a tip. We left the minimum amount of tip because we did Not want to be stopped and be embarrassed in front of other patrons. We asked the people next to us. They probably opted for the dinner menu. (They didn’t speak fluent English.) After the waitress told them, «you placed the order after 4:30pm, the paper stated 4:32pm so this order(waitress had shown the paper to them), You cannot get.» Their IPad was taken away and given back them them after a conversation between the waitress and the couple. The waitresses didn’t walk around to tell us that the all you can eat lunch buffet will close. We had no verbal notice stating, «please place your last order.» No. Nothing!

I love the iPad concept but did not like the variety. For the all-you-can-eat menu, they had basic options. No uni, lobster or any pricy rolls/sushi. I don’t mind paying extra for what I want. I had the pork bun(1) to start, that was extremely tasty. Next was the asparagus rolled salmon(2) which was also good. The salmon and yellowtail sashimi was awesome but the tuna was a bit mushy… Not a fan. The soft crab, fried dumplings and spring rolls were yummy. I found myself hating sushi after this experience, so tah tah for now.

I went there for the«all you can eat(and drink)». The food was good, the wine and saké were not. But the service was awful. The gratuity were included on the bill, and I wouldn’t have given them such a large tip ! And when you order something from the«cheapest» part of the menu, they bring it to you with twice the amount you order. They don’t do this with sushis and more expensive items. Also, when you call them on this, they… continue to do it. But alwaysd remind you that if there are leftovers, you will pay for them. All in all… not a great place, and certainly an awful service.

I generally concur with the averaged 3.5 rating this place has but I wouldn’t give it a 3.0 review since I can’t say I had a bad experience. So my girlfriend and I came tonight for Mother’s Day which I originally anticipated to be 1) very crowded and/or 2) they wouldn’t honor the AYCE Groupon we had because of the holiday. Much to my happy surprise neither of which proved to be true; the tables were nearly filled to capacity but there were still seats available at 8p. m and we were seated immediately. So for $ 28AYCE [before tax and tip] it was certainly worth the buy; I encourage all of you to go to Groupon and purchase your own as it’s well worth it. It was surprisingly convenient that all of your orders were taken via iPad — everything from drinks to sushi, sashimi, and dessert. In comparison to other AYCE sushi places I know, I happened to notice the food comes out a lot faster here. To continue on the subject, the waitresses were all very helpful and swift to collect your empty plates and bring you drinks as soon as they’re submitted. Service: 5 of 5. The [salmon] sashimi are served as pretty large cuts so if you order like ten for yourself, be prepared for a substantial amount of fish. The various sushi rolls are halfway decent — none of which were drowned in sauce and at the same time they’re not enormous either. Sashimi: 4 of 5. Special rolls: 3.5 /5. There are plenty of small eats and appetizers to choose from and they kind of come out at various speeds I suppose depending on the extent for which it has to be cooked. Nevertheless, it doesn’t take so long that you stop and think, «I wonder if they forgot about…» If you’re like me, despite how many rolls and small eats I have, despite my stomach on the verge of expanding through my diaphragm, I always have a little room saved up for dessert. A scoop of green tea ice cream was the perfect creamy texture to cut the salty soy sauce after-taste. Plus even better than ice cream scoops, they have ice cream mochi to pick from(max: one per person). I personally just love mochi so I was very excited.

I was attracted to this place because of a groupon. The groupon was the regular buffet price, but they gave you 1 glass of wine for dinner. The first time I came here for dinner, I was impressed. There was a lot of foods… tuna tartar, octopus, tuna, etc. You can only order 10 pieces of sashimi at one time. The limit was a bit annoying, but with the use of the ipad, I ordered pretty quickly and non stop. Second time, I came here for lunch expecting that it would be the same wonderful experience. Unfortunately, it was not. For lunch, there is no tuna. No spicy tuna, no tuna tartar, no octopus, less appetizers, and worst of all… NOICEEECREAAAAMM!!! Almost had a heart attack. I don’t ask for much. I just usually eat spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and tuna/salmon sashimi. Nope not coming back for lunch. How can they deny people tuna, just because it is lunch buffet time!!! There are other AYCE choices elsewhere.

Came here for dinner with a friend. I had the $ 28 dinner groupon(all you can eat with 2 drinks). Friend did not have the groupon but the restaurant offered to charge him $ 28 w/o the 2 drinks. In terms of the positives: i) high tech ordering with iPad, ii) generally clean bathrooms, iii) small portions which is good in this case because you just keep on ordering more, iv) bright/modern dining space w/TVs(NBA playoff game was on), v) fast service, vi) generally pretty good and fresh food, especially for the value. Not a lot of negatives but everything(including a refill of soda) or wasabi/ginger needs to be ordered over the iPad, which can be annoying. In addition, you are limited to 10 sashimi pieces per order, regardless of group size. Some food items we liked: tofu, sashimi especially the tuna and eel, pork katsu, dragon roll, inoki wrapped with beef, cold sake

The AYCE deal here is fantastic. The AYCE lunch deal is just $ 15 — whuuut?! Alternatively, you can get 3 rolls for an equally good value $ 13 if you don’t want to hate yourself afterwards. You order items off an iPad, and the fish is actually quite fresh — I imagine it has to be, with the high volume of customers coming through this place. I would say the variety of raw fish sushi is a little small, but they have the basics — salmon, tuna, etc. They do charge for any leftovers, so here’s my tip — don’t get too excited and order a bunch of food at the start. Since you have the iPad(that automatically sends orders to the kitchen), order portion by portion, so you can modulate exactly how much you want to stuff yourself.

$ 15AYCE!!! Many many options, fast service, clean and open space. What’s not to love? Of course sushi is very standard, nothing mind blowing. But solid. The AYCE is an amazing deal. You order as many items as you want from an iPad menu and just hit confirm, then the food comes just like that! Great place to go with a group of hungry friends. Would definitely come back for their $ 28AYCE + drinks special for dinner!

Typical AYCE sushi places. Quality is okay, but it’s a good bang for your buck if you get the Groupon deal. I like that they let you order from an ipad so it’s less likely they will get your order wrong. Each table gets one ipad and you select how many orders of an item you want and submit! You can submit as many times as you want. They try to make the pepper salmon from sushi village(in Queens), but it’s not as good. The restaurant is very clean, albiet it did open up not too long ago.
