i have been a customer of J’s Cleaners for over 2 years, regularly sending them fine clothes. Last month, i sent them 3 pairs of suede pants and one suede jacket, all in excellent condition. I let them know i was sending suede items and they said fine, but the cleaning would take longer. About 2 weeks later, i received 2 pairs of suede pants that were burnt with the color unrecognizable. The suede was shiny almost like leather. The waistband was practically stripped of color. The third pair of suede pants was stained with brown dye that appeared to come off one of the other suede pants (did they dye them?). The suede jacket was also burnt and white at the shoulders and seams. I have repeatedly tried to get J’s to reimburse me for the ruined items. They refused, despite my being an excellent customer who has never complained before.
