Incredible coffee and cozy little shop by the seaport. Highly recommend. The service is good, as is the ambience. It is a much better deal to buy a large than a small, but the coffee is well worth it. They have lots of fun and unique drink options as well.

Ordered a whole milk cappucino, almond milk cappucino, a peach muffin, and a chocolate croissant. The cappuccinos both had a lot of foam but tasted fine. I prefer a more lightly toasted espresso than what they made. My favorites continue to be Blue Bottle Coffee in Chelsea and Bluestone Lane near Bryant Park. The pastries were perfectly average and left something to be desired.

Neat little coffee spot. Selection was decent and coffee was okay. It was overpriced for the quality and options, hence only 3 stars.

Jack’s is a cozy South Street Seaport coffee shop[1]. Tasty espressos, and cappuccinos with charm. If you’re not into coffee, they’ve got juices too. Pricing’s what you’d expect, and they take credit. Perfect for solo-ing a newspaper[2], catching up with friends, or casually canoodling a confidant. Tourists abound, but that’s typical for the neighborhood. Last I was here, I had super friendly service. I’m glad to have them as an option for caffeination in the ‘hood. [1] Think you’re seeing double? You’re not. There are multiple Jack’s Stir Brews in NYC. [2] Is that a legit phrase?

Small arty but not quite hipster coffee place close by the water at the edge of the financial district(not from nyc so if its a different district… chill) Nice range of different blends available and finally a place that uses beans that have taste, well more taste than Starbucks or dunkin donuts but not quite Melbourne standard. My coffee was ok, that muffin a little dry. Limited number of seats and even though it was mid afternoon on a Monday it was empty when we arrived but full when we left. Service somehow mixed up my friends coffee for an iced tea of some description that was green otherwise an ok place

I cannot say enough about this location. I work around the corner and come here 2 – 4 times a day. The team is ALWAYS on point with my order. When they see me come in and if there is a long line they already know what I need and have it ready for me by the time I pay. Khali makes a drink for me that we’ve named«Crackalicious» I don’t know what’s in it… but it’s so so so good! Jimmy ALWAYS greets me with so much love when he sees me and the rest of the team is AMAZING!!! I love them and I love Jack’s and as an avid lover of dare I say it «SBUX» Jack’s has a very close space in my heart… always. XoXo guys and thank you for your incredible service.

After a few visits to this neighborhood favorite, you’ll feel like you’ve got friends behind the counter. I don’t drink coffee so I come here for their delicious oatmeal and teas. Have Kahli make you a chai latte — she’s got a special method that results in the best-tasting chai I’ve ever had there.

They make a really good cup of coffee. I especially like how if you ask for milk, they heat it up with steam even if it isn’t a café au lait. It makes the coffee nice and creamy. However, the staff can be a bit rude.

To be honest, I didn’t love the Green Hornet drink. I quickly found myself with the big clump of ice you get at the bottom of a blended drink when it’s too watery and you’ve sucked all the flavor out. The space itself is very nice, though. I’m not sure I’ll be back, but willing to give it another try!

I really love the coffee and ambience here! It also helps that it looks out into a quaint cobble road street which makes me happy. It’s usually pretty crowded and challenging for people to find a seat though. My friends and I really lucked out today because some people were leaving just as we were coming in so we managed to snag a table. The baristas here are very friendly and genuine. They obviously enjoy what they’re doing and it shows! They explain their various drinks patiently to customers and are also very attentive to what’s going on in the café. While we were there today, a guy from another table accidentally dropped his pastry on the floor, and the barista immediately told him that she would get him a new one(without him even asking)! Such impressive service! Jack’s has been my go to coffee place whenever I’m in the area, and I don’t think that’s gonna change anytime soon!

Best coffee in NYC. It’s a hidden gem in south street seaport, every coffee is a work of art. Highly recommend making this part of your list if you’re anywhere in the vicinity. No more Starbucks. Khaali makes an amazing cup of coffee– make sure you get there now!

What an excellent little place for a weekend morning. The coffee here was great, I got a regular iced coffee and it definitely had a distinct flavor/aftertaste to it that was good. It’s was almost like there was a hint of a baileys flavor(without the sweetness or alcohol content obviously). The seating area works just fine, although if you’re closer to the counter it’s pretty crowded. I wouldn’t suggest coming here to read or work on focus-intensive thing, it’s more of a social environment. I’ll definitely be back.

Really good coffee and treats. I had a latte and an apple cider donut. Both were excellent. It’s a nice little coffee shop and the servers are very friendly. They close a bit early on Saturdays but most people probably aren’t looking to drink coffee after 5pm anyway so not really a big deal. I’ll definitely be back here next time I’m at South Street Seaport.

Incredible coffees here! I got the Happy Jack and my wife got something similar but with maple syrup instead of honey. The maple syrup one was killer! I swear I walked into this coffee shop feeling like I just stepped into a café in Lancaster Pennsylvania. They had awesome apple cider donuts and the baristas were all dressed in plaid button ups and were the absolutely friendliest people I’ve ever met in New York. Anytime I’m downtown I have to stop in this place. Whatever they’re selling I’m sold.

Hah, love the nicknames for all the drinks. Great marketing tactic. Sometimes you order it just to say the name. Or you think it’s something super unique but really its just an extra drop of syrup to the latte… still wonderful, though. Went for the Teddy Boy. The perfect fix. So good! … so small. The barista warned me though, so fair game. Knocked off a star because it seemed like they were in closing mode an hour and a half before closing. Understandable I guess, but since it was only like 4pm it felt kind of weird. No more pastries by 430pm. Also, they were out of matcha. Might check out another location.

I was absolutely impressed with this place. The coffee and pastries here are good, but not as good as the service and the impeccable attention I received when i came here looking confused at the menu. The cashier patiently explained the popular drinks and didn’t mock me for feeling like such a noob. They have names for all their drinks! I absolutely love the atmosphere and décor. It is a bit out of the way, but this is a perfect place to study and chill. I will definitely be coming back here.

Stopped in to grab a hot drink before taking a stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge with my boyfriend. What an adorable spot! The lady who took my order was super friendly and quick to answer some questions about their baked goods. I got a hot matcha latte– I cannot emphasize enough how perfect it was. Beautiful green tea flavor without the artificiallly sweetened taste so often found elsewhere. I’d go back to drink this again and again.

Um, maybe I hit it on a bad day. The service was terrible, they forgot a toasted bagel and acted like it was my fault. Maybe I’m used to friendlier and better service here out west but I was not impressed.

Cute little café. Decent coffee. Also has a selection of fresh squeezed juices as well. Good place to stop by and recharge with some quality caffeine or sit and chat with friends. Lots of guys in suits line up to get their«usual.» No outlets, no wifi and tiny tables, so not ideal for working. Got the cold brew and it was quite good, though I couldn’t tell how it’s different from a regular brew. I would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.

This used to be goto place for cappuccino; just stopped by thinking about past cappuccinos… present one not the same anymore. This is my third try, hoping the last bad one was just a glitch… but I’m very sad to say doesn’t seem so… all three occurrences cappuccino was water down, more like latte, way too milky…
