Bin Number 220 NY Manhattan Seaport 7:15 Saturday 9th January 2016 Three Stars On the main restaurant drag of the South Seaport, this cozy place was uncrowded with just another couple at the bar. It is dimly lit with candles and overhead filament lights. All of the seating were high tops. Whiskey Passport Stop #6 with a Buffalo Trace Bourbon on the rocks. The bartender was friendly. The best part of this menu was how the co-owners couldn’t decide on a wine list so they literally split the menu.

My wife and I stopped here two times over the past year. It’s a nice small place with a cozy feel. The prices are reasonable for some of their wines considering some bottles go for approximately $ 35 a bottle. Our experience here has been easy and relatively inexpensive. A great little stop for a flight, glass or bottle of vino.

I was here before and it was awesome, second time is even better. Joe-e was an awesome bartender. His martinis are excellent, i. recommend them. Also the forst on the tap, the best!

Great bar in the heart of the South Street Seaport. This a wine bar though my boyfriend and I don’t drink wine that much. Our favorite bartender Joey makes great cocktails with what liquor they have(and is a super cool guy) and they have good beer. Don’t let the chic look from the outside deter you; this is a really chill, place with great vibes.

Love the pour your own beer feature! Bartender could have been more attentive, though overall a cool spot and fun time. Our first stop on the summer 2015 Good Beer passport journey!

Cool venue, came here for a friends birthday party and we ended up owning the whole place. Strong drinks, good music, a little loud but that’s cool, I don’t know if it’s just because I’m getting older. It’s a good excuse to come to a part of the city that I never frequent. The street outside looks so clean it’s like a Universal Studios back lot. Or Chicago.

Great wine bar! We went in for just one drink but ended up staying for three hours drinking wine and purchased the antipasto large plate. Which was a great choice pairing for our wines. Such a melo/romantic atmosphere. Loved the music selection.

Came here for drinks with my cousin after work. Dimly lit, nice atmosphere. Wasn’t too crowded when we went, around 5. They offer Happy Hour specials, but we actually went with the wine flights. I went with white and my cousin red, sow e could try each others. For $ 16 it was pretty reasonable, especially for Manhattan and all the selections were really good. Now a drop left in any glass. The food is also pretty good. We had the bruschetta and the bakes cheese fondue. Both very good selections. I would definitely go back.

5-stars for making it back. Hurricane Sandy knocked Bin 220 down, but they got back up again, after 12 hard months of rebuilding. A true example of perseverance. Anyone who gives these guys anything less than 5-stars must first qualify their review with measurable examples of overcoming adversity in similar situations. I assure you that if you issue a sub-5 star rating, without prefacing it with a story of personal achievement in the face of challenge, your review will be personally challenged.

Great neighborhood wine bar! A gem in the seaport. We went in for some wine but ended up ordering food and it was unexpectedly amazing! Truly a surprise. We had the artichoke dip and arugula salad. The artichoke dip is not at all what you expect. It’s not overwhelmed with cheese and the artichoke is actually the star of the dish. The salad was also wonderful. I want to come back for more. The only imperfect thing was the atmosphere. It’s not scene-y or a full place. It was a little empty, but very good if you want to go with a large group of friends or an intimate hangout.

Finally re opened after a year! Glad to see them back too. My neighborhood is finally getting better again. Good wine, good cheese, what else does one need?

Awesome wine bar in Seaport. Pros: awesome wines, cool atmosphere, great music, great location, perfect for date night or just hanging out. Only cons: not so great wine glasses. But 5 stars for an awesome menu of wines and small bites as well as a cool atmoshphere. Definitely recommend!

I am never in this part of town, and I am so glad I finally ventured down here. I discovered such a fun and relaxed neigborhood with lots of small bars/restaurants. BIN No. 220 has a solid selection of beers/wines and has spacious seating inside, wiht a small front patio outside which, if the weather provides, allows you to sip on your drink as you gaze out onto Front St and maybe spot out your next spot to stop into. Venture a few blocks further to the South Street Seaport area where crowds gather at any of the many bars/restaurants to choose from.

Good selection of reds and whites in south street seaport. The blue cheese in the cheese app is delicious(the others are good too but this one is fantastic). Atmosphere is cute and did i mention the wines are delicious?!

I like the ambiance, very dark and romantic. It’s a pretty little bar with cute menus, glassware, etc. which makes it a nice date spot. Wine was pretty good, although I don’t remember what I had. The cheese platter was pretty decent. The only problem was that there was one worker who might be the owner which means service was slow as hell. It is worth checking out if you are in the area.

Took my date here last night… I actually thought it was an asian resto, duh. DAYUM…this spot is a prototype of The Room, The Other Room, and Another Room… but in FiDi/Seaport area… The ish: — Dope wine selection — Deelish meats & cheese plates and paninis — Dark interior with exposed brick and candles galore — Romantic décor promoting intimate trysts You know how this story ends ;)

Ok selection but wines were good. Just not a fan of the short and stout wine glasses… I need some surface are for my wine to breathe and to do my twirl ;) As for the food, we ordered paninis, bruschetta, and the artichoke dip. Didn’t try any but the tip and it was not appealing to me, sorry to anyone who actually likes this. First of all, who serves it w. saltine crackers and secondly, there was nothing special about the dip as it was just truly baked artichokes. There was nothing else inside so it was not flavorful and too simple. Supposedly the other two items were good, but who knows. The 2 bartenders were nice but you can tell that 1 was just more experienced than the other but good job to both.

Great place to grab a couple of drinks after work. Cute little bar. Good date spot. Came in here for drinks last night. Good white sangria, nice wine selection. Good olives, the meat/cheese platter was a-ok, nothing to write home about. Should be larger portion. The service was friendly but slow. Not good for groups.

This place is a nice find for the area. i have been here a few times with the last being on 7÷5÷11. this is a nice small place, not very fancy but comfy. the have of course a good list of wines to choose from & a few appetizers to choose from there choices are limited but if u are in the mood to just snack on a few little things while enjoying the wine it works. the antipasta was good, the brushetta could be better, the bread & olive oil was good, the olive oil has a great taste. we settled on the Roco dei Tassi Collio — Sauvignon white, which we’ve had before very tasty wine & affortable great summer wine. later on we ended up stopping by again way after we had diner & try the white sangria, we got a pitcher decent price & the sangria was delicious. this place is good to just relax have a few drinks & enjoy, i wil definatley stop by again.

Bin No. 220 is everything I love. Exposed brick, dim lighting, high seating, extensive wine collection. I love the structure & the staff. I was extremely impressed. Great place for conversation. You can answer your phone & not yell. Attentive staff, Tasty appetizers — great menu. Ugh. This place is perfect. I will be back frequently. Great place to have wine & talk. Specials are on the chalkboard. Very cute place.
