My go-​to hair salon. Everyone that works here is so friendly and helpful. No wonder I go here so frequently. I get my hair blow dried here frequently and also have gotten hair color done here. They always offer tea and candy :). REALLY love this place!

I’ve been going to Elaine for a couple of years and she does an terrific blow-​dry with styling and was thrilled for her to partner in this new salon.
J & E Hair Salon is Fabulous! This Columbus Avenue salon is SPOTLESS, and very well lit inside. There is something reassuring about a hair salon that cares enough to install great lighting! Elaine and her business partner have truly put the customer first in designing this location.
The nice things I could say about this location could go on and one. I wish them the best and hope the neighborhood welcomes them.

Jun and Elaine are a great team. Not only are they excellent at hair styling but they are nice, honest genuine people.
This is a great place for men, women or kids to get a haircut.

I have known Elaine and Jun for many years. They are terrific at what they do and always make you feel important and taken care of. I always get compliments after Jun has cut my hair.
I am so happy that they have their own salon now!

My husband and I have been working with Jun for the last seven years, and we always get complements for our haircuts.
Jun is patient and professional. Best of all, he always gives good suggestions to keep our hairstyles updated!
His new saloon is bright, clean, and have good music playing in the background! If you live in the neighborhood or nearby, this is absolutely the best place for you to get your hair done!

Jun is great. Really listens to what haircut you request.
Before, my hair was a mess (I have annoying thick heavy frizzy asian hair) but after leaving J&E my hair was light and neat!

This is my first ever review on Unilocal but I am happy that it is for J & E. Jun has been cutting my hair for the past couple years and I have never been disappointed. Jun always takes his time and never rushes through customers. I am very happy that he opened up a new place with Elaine. The highlights in my opinion include:
— Professional /​attentive haircut
— Brand new salon with comfy chairs and large TV
— Delicious tea
— Friendly atmosphere /​good music
My only complaint is that the new salon is a couple extra block walk from my apartment. Overall, a top salon that I will definitively continue going to.
