Came HUNGRY, left HUNGRY. ANDANGRY. YO, SOMEONESHUTTHISPLACEDOWN. Tried calling in an order to go at this«24 hour» IHOP like 12 times. Kid you not. Never got an answer or anything. Then, I decided to go to the restaurant in person, only to find a cashier-less register, and the manager in the back of the restaurant laughing with customers and working SO hard. NOT. I waved him down and he gave me a one finger«hold on» and kept chatting up with whoever. Finally he made it to the front where I was and made excuses(without apologizing for the wait), then goes on to say I had to wait longer because he had other customer’s orders to pick up !!! Ok, I’m done. Don’t go here unless you want to wait forever and ever, and ever. I won’t be returning under any circumstances.

This has to be the worst ihop I have ever been to they take forever to get your food or your drinks. What we really got me mad is that we got the food before the drinks ! How is that possible I’ve never been to a restaurant that had that happen. Also I went with a friend and she ordered chocolate chip pancakes but got double chocolate chip she also made it clear to the waitress that she didn’t want that. It’s also not in the best part of Manhattan just take a few minutes and hop on a 4 or 5 train south bound to 14th street and go to ihop there they are more professional and speedy

If you read any of my reviews you know I belive that a restaurant should all ways be clean and I know that you can get real busy at times buy that should not stop you from keeping this place clean.

I came here to get my usual Chicken Fajita Omelette with pancakes. The waitress totally forgot to bring out certain food items that was asked for. She seemed a little checked out. So maybe she was going through something but she was way off. She didn’t ask me if i needed anything or how my meal was or if I’ve received everything because I didn’t. She also just dropped the check off while i was still eating! Who does that? Not to mention that she gave me the wrong check. I had to tell her that it was incorrect so when she came back. She actually stood there waiting for me to pay smh. Just a hot mess. Some people don’t need to be servers. I work in hospitality so I know all about that. There is no excuse. At the end of the day. My meal tasted good but the service was horrible.

Horrible service. Waitress was responsible only for 4 tables. The rest of the restaurant was empty. Instead of doing her job, she decided that talking to other customers was what she needed to do. I did however leave a tip of $ 1.00. That’s 98 cents more than she deserves. I don’t recommend this IHOP.

This is the worst IHOP I have ever been to! You have been warned! My sister and I had been craving I hop for a few weeks now, so when we passed this location we were excited to check it out. Our order was simple since we are vegetarian; grilled cheese and hashbrowns with a side a spinach. I think my sister got the same thing. 1st off we waited to be serviced for about 15mins. Then the waitress flirted with me the whole time, giggling with the other employees and staring(to be fair I am a very goodlooking man but that is besides the point). Then finally when our food came I couldnt believe that we had waited sooo long for THIS. The grilled cheese sanwich looked like it came from the County kitchen. The hashbrowns tasted stale and were mushy even though we had asked for them well done and the spinach was waaay overcooked with barely anything nothing left of it. I’ve had better food at shitty public schools and I’m not even joking. We paid quickly and walked out after eating just a few bites and on our way out the security had stopped us claiming that we didn’t pay. We had to wait for the waitress to set us free. Pathetic!

Don’t ever go here!!! This is a horrible establishment, I went to have breakfast with my 5 year old son and my husband. I accidentally spilled coffee on our table, we asked for help from a server. We were given napkins thinking someone was coming over with a rag to help us clean up the table so that it wouldn’t be sticky. Since no one came over and our server brought us our food her arm was burning with plates so we made room on the table for the plates and put the pile of napkins we used to clean the table on the table next to us. Another server by the name of Shanae(not sure if the spelling is correct) got very upset and started to say we were supposed to wait for a busboy to come over because they had just cleaned that table. My husband said no one ever came over to help us clean the table and we were just making room on our own table so that we can eat she continued talking and started to argue with my husband. He finally said to me lets go and«Shanae» continued to say yes leave please leave you should leave!!! This is unacceptable. I’m extremely disappointed, my son was screaming that he didn’t want to leave he wanted to eat his breakfast. The manager tried to intervene and«Shanae» wouldn’t even listen to the manager. I was given the owner’s information Corey Lawrence, and I have reached out to him just to make him aware of the way this particular employee has treated his customers and the impact this can have on his business. My disappointment is that she didn’t even take a moment to realize we were with a child and all my son keeps saying is why did they tell us to leave!!! Horrible place!!!

I walk by this restaurant everyday on my way into the office where I work. Normally, I really like IHOP — what’s not to love about pancakes and coffee? But you couldn’t pay me to eat in this joint, based on their very obvious disregard for public health. The sidewalk outside their loading dock on East 126th Street is a foul-smelling oil slick. You can see their porters drag leaking garbage bags to the curb. What you won’t see is this sidewalk being power-washed, ever. I understand the owner of the building, Nina Demartini-Day, is very active in the New Harlem East Merchants Association, which is working hard to «clean up» the neighborhood. Well lady, why don’t you start with your own back door, in the very literal sense. Hint: power wash.

This IHOP is okay but like some of the others, they bring your pancakes almost raw. They look good but are too doughy. The other food is okay to good but the wait service is not too good. The wait staff seem greedy and do not take handle complaints at well. So yourself a favor — eat elsewhere.

IHOP NY Manhattan East Harlem 1:45pm 7th July 2015 Four Stars In celebration of IHOPs 57th anniversary, they are giving away 57 cent pancakes. There was only a twenty minute wait. The people’s reaction to the wait ranged from indifference to anger about the number of people wanting cheap pancakes. People were noticeably upset by empty tables but probably didn’t realize that the restaurant simply did not have the staff. It took about 10 minutes to take my order but again completely understandable. My order was the Quick Two Egg Breakfast: Over Medium, Bacon, Whole Wheat Toast. Plus the cheap pancakes. The waiter had to come back 5 minutes later to ask how I wanted my eggs. While waiting the 15 minutes for my food to arrive. I noticed that there were 5 tables covered with dining debris. Plus the Fire alarm went off multiple times. When my food came out, there wasn’t any whole wheat toast. The waiter said he would get them but he didn’t. The eggs were close to medium which was shocking. The bacon is clearly baked and kept on the grill or a chaffing dish. The hash browns had a nice top crunch but lacked any seasoning. I had to get my own ketchup and Tabasco sauce. The pancakes looked just like picture: Three golden brown, ½ inch thick and fluffy pancakes with the ice scoop of butter. The old fashion and pecan tasted the same. The blueberry was too thin and artificial tasting. The strawberry was much thicker but really tasty. Stick with the classic. They do have sugar syrup upon request. After finishing my meal. I waited another 15 minutes to get the check. I hope his day got better BX he got wrecked.

My typical order, which usually costs me $ 13, magically rose to $ 18 today. After some thick irritation from the cashier that I would question the price, I asked to speak with a supervisor who explained that my order had previously been on a one day special – unusual considering how frequently I’ve ordered at the same price on most days of the week. It’s cheaper and easier to walk across the street to get McDonald’s than deal with this sleazy IHOP.

Lets start from the beginning. I went in around 9:30am. Since I was off that day I thought that time would be good, the rush would be gone and the place would be kinda empty. Not a smart move. I easily got a seat but the wait for service was over 10 minutes. A lot of people passed me with ketchup bottles but no one took my order. Finally the one girl(obviously) handling all the orders in my area came by. I told her what I wanted(Eggs, sausage, grits) and to drink(orange juice with soda water.) My orange juice came with tap water. My grits were completely inedible. The plate with my eggs and sausage was dirty. That was it for me. I ate one sausage and just left the rest. Went and grabbed a breakfast sandwich from McDonalds down the street.

THANKYOU! What else can I say after a wonderful meal with a great server, Daisy! Eight of us were there for a late lunch yesterday and Daisy was calm, cool and collected while taking all of our orders. She got everything right, which wasn’t easy since we were all talking at the same time and having fun! When the check came, I realized my wallet was missing and excused myself to call my doctor which is where I had just come from. Sadly, no wallet! The bill was paid and off I went to cancel all my credit cards and request drivers license, etc. This morning, one of the 8 people at the table suggested I call IHOP«just in case» and LOWANDBEHOLD it was turned in by another server!!! THANKYOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU and remember what goes around comes around… you will be blessed. And yes I left a generous tip
