This is a nice, small-medium sized [gravel] dog run with an ADORABLE dog/human combination water fountain aaaaaaand that’s about it. There’s a small gazebo with two benches at one end of the park but the two benches at the other end are completely exposed(which is NOT fun on hot summer days). Again, the water fountain is the cutest and every dog park in the city should have one but overall, the run is «Meh.»

Roy’s Top 5 Things to Know: 1. They have a water fountain for dogs and humans. 2. Good sized dog park with 8 benches to sit on with three of them being under the shade. 3. They have disposal bags so you don’t have to bring your own. 4. They have coffee and donuts(dunkin) on Saturdays at 9am sponsored by a local pet store around 181st and Bennett I believe. 5. There’s no separation for large and small dogs here however.

One of the better, if not the best dog runs in Upper Manhattan right now. Things it has going for it: — Not a lot of wear and tear yet — Seating for humans — Has dog drinking fountain — Arbor for some shade — Great fencing, gates and entry area Things it has against it: — No bathrooms for humans nearby — No separate large & small dog runs — No poop bags — Can get a little crowded at peak times on weekends — Parking on the street can get a little frustrating — Crushed granite litter material ground cover is better then dirt or wood chips, but if you have a wet long haired dog it is a pain to clean it out of their fur Just redone a year ago, it has a concrete pad were the seating area is so there is no mess from wet crush granite ground cover. If it had separate large and small dog runs, pea gravel or synthetic turf as ground cover, poop bags and a canopy for some shade, this would probably be the best run in Manhattan. Dog runs/parks I have been to so far:
