A Korean fried chicken place in Hell’s Kitchen? I had to try it. I ordered the drums for lunch take out. The chicken was moist however it wasn’t as crunchy as other Korean places like Bön Chon. I elected for the spicy soy garlic sauce which had a nice kick but wasn’t as flavorful as I hoped. My order was ready 10 minutes after I called in. This is is a good option for lunch as they have a lot of options for a reasonable price.

LOVE Hell’s Chicken! I’ve been for lunch and dinner. The wings are amazing but don’t overlook the other items on the menu. We shared the first bulgogi dish and it was DELICIOUS.

Pretty decent chicken wings here! They have a great happy hour where you get 6 wings and a beer for about $ 10. We got the Hell’s sauce and the Spicy soy ginger sauce. The chicken was pretty moist and easy to eat off the bones. I wish there was a little more crunchy coating to it, but the sauces on the chicken made up for it. The Hell’s sauce is very mild and I wish it had more of a distinctive flavor. I really enjoyed the soy ginger. It had the right amount of spice and good balance between salty and sweet. Service here was fast and friendly. Would stop in again if I’m in the neighborhood.

I was excited to try this place, as I love Korean food. Ordered takeout and was just not impressed. Kimchi pancakes were a bit soggy and not that flavorful. Japchae tasted pretty good, but a surprisingly small order. Got the regular order of drumsticks, which is a decent portion — more than enough for two people — but I didn’t even eat that much because the smell seemed a bit off… My boyfriend ate his though and enjoyed them OK.

After a day of drinking in Williamsburg we headed over to Hill’s Kitchen for some more libations and drinks. We decided on something different and went to Hill’s Chicken. After going through their menu we decided to snack on wings — they were good, but not the best we’ve had. I know it is sacrilege to say, but I wish they would have had boneless. Probably will not go back due to the amount of other good restaurants around. For more information and pictures check out our site:

I’ve ordered from this place twice, and I guess as the saying goes, shame on me right? The wings/drumsticks are just ok, if you’re not willing to travel to K-town, which I will be doing in the future. They held up alright during delivery, but the sauces are overbearing and you will get a tiny piece or two that count as separate pieces. I’ve also ordered the pa jeon, or pancake, which was small and soggy. Their Soondubu Jjige is watery and comes with very few bits of beef(there is also choice of kimchi, seafood, or vegetable). The tofu crumbled into tiny pieces that felt like I was eating baby food. It came hot at least and you also get rice and little bit of banchan that was separately packaged. Overall, they overcharge for very mediocre food. Will not be returning.

Pretty good wings(like Bonchon but cheaper). Bar is tight like everyone said but tight is not necessarily a bad thing…

tofu soup = tofu + water. It was flavorless and expensive for tofu soup.

Soy garlic chicken. Light, crispy, and tasty. That’s all I can speak for, but it was good!

First of all, it’s a chicken wing place but I was REALLY craving bibimbap and kimchi pancakes(and kim bop but we take what we can get!) and this was the only place that didn’t charge OVERFIFTEENDOLLARS for a bowl of bibimbap at lunch. I placed my order, popped down to Duane Reade for 20 minutes and by the time I walked back my lunch was sitting at reception. Food was hot. They have my little banchans separated in their own containers and a large container of gochujang for me to slather all over. For $ 10($ 12, because I got beef) you cannot beat it. So impressed for what I thought was going to be a mediocre lunch day. Also, my first Unilocal review ever because it is that conveniently delicious.

Eaten here twice and the second time my girl got nasty food poisoning. I reckon I ate 20 drumsticks and no problem so you have a 5% chance. Good odds and I’ll probly go back for that crunchy chicken and garlic chilli sauce.

My friend and I came here on a Tuesday night so the place was empty when we came(around 6:30) and started filling up about an hour later. The menu was pretty straightforward — options to mix drums & wings and the 2 sauces to choose from. Their happy hour was until 7pm. We ordered a large mix of drumsticks and wings, large fries, and 2 beers. The sauces we picked were soy garlic and soy ginger. Now, I have been to both Bön Chon and Kyo Chon. Both of their soy garlic chickens I thought were tasty. But Hell’s Chicken’s did not do it for me. First of all, the size of wings and drumsticks were so disproportionate — it was as if the wings and drums came from two diff sizes of chicken. The wings were unbelievably tiny and the drums were huge in comparison. The difference was striking and it made the whole meal feel unbalanced. Good thing we have beer. The soy garlic did not taste like anything that I expected. There was a dark undertone to it that I didn’t care for. Soy ginger is pretty much like the soy garlic but with a hint of ginger. I was glad that the ginger taste was not overpowering. Nonetheless, both flavors slightly less than average. The fries were good but nothing special. I have had better Korean Fried Chicken — that’s for sure. I would much rather go to Boc Boc at Queens Mall. The service was great though. Friendly and attentive server. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. =/

Hell’s Chicken is my go-to place in Hell’s Kitchen whenever I crave Bonchon, or what is fondly known as Korean fried chicken. The restaurant décor is modern with a touch of sophistication. Upon entering, you may choose to sit at the bar, which is both a drinking and eating station. It is a great place to seat when dining solo. I found the tables at the back more intimate and ideal for a date night. My all time favorite is always the spicy Bonchon, Japchae(Korean dish made from sweet potato noodles,) with white rice and radish relish on the side. I highly recommend this place for its freshly cooked dishes, value, location and customer service.

I’ve come here a few times and wasn’t THAT impressed with the chicken BUT I decided to give it another try this weekend and ended up really liking it! Chicken is pretty big in size and I love the soy garlic taste :) My only complaint is that they had a waiter who didn’t really do his job well(but he was scolded by the manager later). When we walked in and asked for a table of two, he said that«they were fully booked right now» instead of saying«the wait time is _____. May I get your name?». At that moment, I felt as if the restaurant didn’t need me as a customer so I almost turned around and walked out. But my hunger made me wait the extra ten minutes. He then proceeded to say the same thing to a group of six that came in after me and added that they couldn’t be seated right now. Well that’s obvious. They instantly turned around and left. But this review isn’t for that minor slip up. Other than the chicken, we also ordered the japchae and kimchi jigae. Japchae was great! I wish it had more noodles than veggies though. I don’t recommend the soup because it was so sour, it was almost bitter. My whole experience here though was a positive one and I’d come back if I’m in the area :)

some people ask me how I can keep so slim figure while eating so much food, but I have another question: how I can deny oneself so tasty food? P. S. fried chicken is fantastic!

For some reason the food looks real good in the pictures. I did take out for their 6 piece wings and the fried veggies as appetizer. A bit over price for their quality. Very mediocre. The wings were extremely small and pretty soggy — but this could be due to take out. even though the flavor is not bad but the size of the wings still… service was good though. Anyway I would prefer Bön Chon over this…

Came in at 9pm on a Wednesday night for take-out: — $ 24 including tax for 18 wings/drumsticks for 2 flavors — Wet naps included — Wings were super small… and not very meaty at all. The little meat that there were, not very tender, and seemed overcooked or overfried. Overpriced and quality is okay. I won’t be back… Gotta give them props for the good restaurant name though

Hell’s Chicken is not what I expected. I expected a Korean«chicken» only, walk up to the counter and order. This is not the case, Hell’s Chicken is a full restaurant with a bar in the front. When I tell you my waiter was on point? Man, I still can’t say Bibimbap! He was all over the menu and telling me his likes and dislikes, he was the Korean«bridge» if you will to the Hell’s Chicken menu and pronounced every item professionally and accurately. I tell him I’ma starvin’ and I want to try the chicken wings as well as a meal. We start going down the menu and I see Bibimbap with rice cakes and BBQ beef. Oh yeah, EVERY beer is $ 5 bucks for happy hour. Every beer??? Sold! Everything came out of order. First came the piping hot Bibimbap. Man. Is this dish off the chain. Hot hot hot! I mean, burn the roof off your mouth hot. Chop sticks? They burned like matchsticks when I put them in the bowl. Once everything cooled down I was able to enjoy everything. And it was plentiful! I ordered a Korean Beer, Hite. Great malty beer. I picture Kim Jong-Un sending his cronies out for a beer run. DANCEBREAK!!! East bound and down, 18 wheels a rollin’ a’we gonna do what they say can’t be done We’ve got a long way to go and a short time to get there I’m East bound just watch ol’Bandit run Whew. Lets continue. Next came out the Chicken wings. I ordered the Spicy Soy Garlic Chicken Wings. Show me the heat! These wings were meatier than the typical Korean Chicken wing. The spicy/sweet sauce works. It’s all working in Hell’s Chicken Finally they bring out a small tray of kimchi and bean sprouts? At the end??? Ah, I’ll knock off a half star for that move but I’m overall impressed with the quality of the food, the prices and more importantly, the excellent wait staff. Some say Hell is for Children. If they’re hungry then Give ‘em Hell, Harry! (Chicken that is)
