My bf texted me that we would meet up at Kiabbaca for beer & pizza and i was looking forward to it all day. I’ve been here about 5 times and have always had a good experience. Jeff is great, we came one day when he wasn’t here so we had a quick beer and went elsewhere. He is a big part of the reason why this place has such a fun & warm atmosphere. My beer is always full and served with a smile and funny banter. Sorry Keeke K that you had a bad experience. I don’t quite believe it. Jeff keep up the great work.

I would like for this review to be served as a note the Managing Partners of this Establishment. This place is great for groups. Loved my pizza, it was delicious. However i had THEWORST experience there for my friend Kristina’s birthday party restaurant and bar crawl. This was the final destination as she lives a block away. the bartender Jeff was totally, absolutely RUDE out of this world! I’ve yet to see any bartender act this way in the line of service while dealing with a group of nice people including parents!!! He had the most unpleasant face when i walked in. I already knew he would be rude. He seemed bothered as if he didn’t want to talk to, help or serve anyone! This is unacceptable in the line of service! I am sure this is not the first or last time people will walk out of that place and never return! There were 15 of us. That’s 15 lost customers including two who lives only a block away! Not good at all! She lives in the neighborhood and had been there before, You would think this prick would be nice to her. She only returned because the other bartender is pleasant and she thought he’d be working.

It’s my birthday and we are here late, we came after seeing a Knicks game. The place is empty but the atmosphere is nice and there’s cool music playing at a decent level. It’s seat yourself and order at the bar but the bartender is nice, charming and really attentive. The bruschetta and garlic knot appetizers were delicious. Our pizza came out about ten minutes apart so I had to sit the and eat one slice while my friend watched and then wait and let it get cold until his came out but otherwise this place is awesome. I recommend it to everyone! The pizza is really good, like really good!

I’ve been to the Kiabacca Bar twice — once for a few beers at happy hour, and once for a pizza(and a couple of beers). They have a larger than most beer selection, but nothing too extreme(at least when I was there). All of the beers I had were Singlecut Billy 18-Watt IPAs. It was a pretty decent IPA. I was pleasantly surprised at how hoppy it was, and it was even better because it was only $ 5 at happy hour and they have true 16-ounce pours. For my pizza I had their«Conflicted», which consisted of prosciutto, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, arugula, and mozzarella. The crust was good — crisp and chewy, and the quality of toppings was appropriate. They were a little heavy with the garlic, but I didn’t mind. Overall I enjoyed my pizza. Décor is on par with other bars in the area — meaning pretty basic furnishing, but stylish enough. If I lived in NYC, I’d probably be a regular at the Kiabacca.

Did the Halloween Bar Crawl NYC for this halloween. Took an über from out hotel. Was actually planning to go to another spot but we passed this one and say PIZZA so we halted the über to get out. It was late and I was hungry and Pizza fixes everything. The bar has a great layout. It goes throughout the whole place so you can always find a spot to squeeze and order a drink. The bartenders were very nice and attentive. My friends ordered a pumpkin beer and a sangria. The sangria was super wine-y oh my. It was ehhh blah. The wine took over the whole drink but it was a wine that was too sweet and tart. Gave you a fishy face when you drink it. I did not try the beer but my friend said they have had better. The personal pizza does not take long at all to come out. I ordered the white pizza with chicken and tomatoes. I wish I got the red sauce pizza because something about this pizza was just dry. It was crunchy and the chicken and tomatoes had a great flavor but there is nothing like having that red sauce to tie it all together and make it less dry. Womp. I shall try this spot again! Bathrooms are clean and look pretty new.

We dropped in here today with our two hungry three-year-olds because we were desperate and in Hell’s Kitchen. Cory the bartender gave us such a friendly greeting, talked to our kids and made them laugh and then sat us and asked if we wanted to put in a pizza order right away for the kids. Perfect. How good can bar pizza be? Generally, not very, but this place completely took me by surprise. The pizza was great, the wings were really good and my wife’s bloody mary was spectacular. Clean place, good music, nice atmosphere and great service. If we’re in the area, we’ll be back.

We stopped after walking around most of the day. We had been to the Pony Bar a while ago and thought we’d check the place next door out. Same beers as Pony Bar, but with pizza? We’re in. We ordered beers and shared the honey delight pizza — spinach, sun dried tomatoes, ricotta, and honey. Great! Also fun fact: they probably have the cleanest public bathrooms in all of New York or maybe it just felt that way after that day’s earlier experiences. Definitely keeping this place in mind next time I’m back in the city.

This place is a cheeeeel spot right outside of times square. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my birthday party of 10, they put tables together and were okay with extra people(late stragglers) coming in to join us. We all got different pizzas and shared~~ I got the CPR and it was the best decision at the pizza table. +craft beers +great staff +cute bartender +fun music/chill vibes +so many varieties of pizza, can’t wait to go back and try more

My bf and I came upon this place when he was taking the NY bar. He was staying at a hotel nearby. We found this place through Unilocal and we’re so glad we did! We loved the vibe of the place and luckily for us, we were there on Monday during the one large pizza for regular price deal. I was excited! We sat at the bar and got the broheavy pizza because we both love meat and it was great. There were so many types of meat and the pizza was thing to our liking. They also have a great selection of beer. My bf and I tried two of the sweeter, fruity beers, but they weren’t as sweet and they were tasty. I would definitely come back again!

Venue: Kiabacca Décor: Your bar/lounge like Service: Solid Environment: Cool, Friendlly, Fun Food: Pizza Prices: Pretty good, fair Debbie Downers: Not really any that stood out, straight! Conclusion: Like this spot. Has a 21st century Cheers vibe in the vicinity of Hell Kitch. Good Crowd. Official and tasty pizza. The establishment is not stingy where they do give out discounts for the grub and beverages as well. Get the personal pies for self if you going here for the beverages as well. This is what a local on the way home or weekend spot should be all about. Overall: B+

Stopped by here with a friend while I was in NYC for work for a week. The bartenders were very friendly and I loved the whole vibe! Great beers & an awesome selection of whiskey. If this bar was in Denver I would be there all the time. Wish I would have gotten a chance to try the food. I will absolutely be stopping back here next time I’m in town.

Tasty pizza and wide selection of craft beers on the menu… a fun neighborhood pizza joint! Our group of 3 split 3 personal pizzas(of course we all shared — what else would we do?). The vegetable pizza is a little bland, but the white pizza was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and we were easily able to get a seat on the weekday we went. A little on the outskirts of HK(10th Ave)…but a great spot to come before going out in HK(a show at Terminal 5, for example) PS– ask for the rewards card if you think you’ll come here enough. You’ll eventually get a free t-shirt. Because who DOESN’T want a Kiabacca t-shirt?!

If you like craft beer and pizza, this place is for you! Always a great selection of beer AND wine on tap. The pizza is really fresh and tasty too. I’ve had the opportunity of trying the bro heavy, the clam digger, and the buffalo chicken. All amazing. Come here on a Monday night for a pie and a beer for $ 9!!! Best deal in the city! P. S. — Pony Bar now has a bouncer? Calm down brah. Kiabacca is where it’s at!

I had my husband’s 30th birthday here and it was terrific! It was casual, we had an attentive waitress and we took over about 4 tables with our party. We were there from 8 – 1:30am and no issues at all. People raved about the beers and the pizzas and the owner Dan, even made an appearance and buy us a round of drinks. It’s a great friendly atmosphere. Will definitely come back for more pizza. *and the hockey game was on!

Nice place. Great beer and very tasty pizza. Have tried to set up an event from beer club but can’t seem to get a response from them unfortunately and the guy I spoke to when I was physically there said he couldn’t help me. So that was disappointing. But if you just want beer and pizza, this is a nice addition to the neighborhood.

From the guys that brought you Pony Bar next door, here is Kiabacca. Similarly outstanding beer list, with the added benefit of not being as crowded as their neighbor(also, pizza!). Came with a group of five so we can get some pizza to go(and some beer to wait). Ordered the Scruffy’s Hell’s Kitchen Buffalo Chicken($ 16). Twelve inches of pizza-ness with plenty of ingredients and strong blue cheese flavor. While waiting for the pizzas, the bartender happily gave us free 6oz samples of their house beer(not bad, but light for my taste). Not that we waited long though; the pizza came out in 15 minutes. Environment is nice as it wasn’t crowded. Each table has its own power outlet and roll of paper towels. The seating was comfortable, reminding me of a big tasting room that breweries usually have. Definitely want to come back to enjoy a pie in house(pizza got cold fast while I made another errand before returning home).
