Hans is a pretty standard deli with a nice selection of chips and Asian treats(seaweed crackers, and that kind of thing). They make pretty standard sandwiches, have a pretty standard hot-bar buffet, and pretty standard high SoHo/NoHo prices. It can get pretty busy around breakfast time at the grill, and there is no great way for people to wait for their sandwiches to get made, so sometimes it’s a bit hard to traverse. And with it being that busy and the guys being pretty rushed, my sandwiches are very rarely wrong(and when they are, it’s not offensively wrong — for instance, Monday morning my egg whites and turkey on whole wheat ended up having cheese on it). Far be it from me to complain about extra cheese. Han’s is what it is, nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes, that’s just what you’re looking for.

Lady at the back register needs to chill with her attitude. Ugly woman with an ugly heart. No way I’m ever going back to this deli. And I’ll tell everyone at my company to stop patronizing this deli.

Very rude to customers. Tried to pay w credit card. Instead of informing me about their CC limit just slapped the cashier and went away. Than came back after a while and gave me a huge attitude.

i live around the corner from this deli and it’s the only place open late at night. it was cool until the dudes behind the counter making the sandwiches started getting a little creepy. there’s one very sweet and polite korean guy(usually wearing the hat) that is always friendly, but the other guy with the glasses is super obnoxious and rude. i’m not one to call anyone out but you guys gotta chill out and stop making females feel uncomfortable if they go in to simply get a bottle of water. there’s also a credit card minimum.

terrific breakfast menu here at Han’s Deli. Don’t try the bottle organic cola that they sell here, it’s awful!

Torn. Have always had a good experience here — good price on a variety of fresh hot food from the buffet. Granted, my time here was always in the early afternoon. Perhaps if it’s before 4pm, you can take this as a 3.5 star. Tonight was a miss. Just wanted a quick bagel between classes. First, gave me the wrong bagel. Took quite a while to find the veggie cream cheese, which ended up being somewhere under the counter :/Not toasted, and the bagel tasted like cardboard. Cream cheese was not bad though. Hot buffet looked dead. This was 7pm.

I love this place! Their sandwiches are fantastic and very reasonably priced. The staff are also very helpful and courteous! And they have a cat, which makes the place a great shop to celebrate Caturday at!

Standard bodega with two very charming morning cashiers(front) and one not so charming(back register). Tasty breakfast options fast and my favorite iced coffee in ny. Happily spend $ 20 a week here.

Every morning I go here for breakfast. The cooks are unnecessarily rude and get my breakfast sandwich order right seriously one out of every 4 times. When I have a gut feeling they’re going to mess my order up, I repeat it loudly but they all legitimately pretend not to hear. Silly me, I must be a stupid customer who should be grateful of the service they’re providing, even though I’m paying for it. So I usually take my sandwich with my foot in my mouth for thinking I needed to repeat my order. When I get back to my desk and unwrap the sandwich, the instant anger is almost overwhelming. I asked for 2 eggs and got one egg, but paid for two. The onions are uncooked and the bacon is piled on one side of the sandwich, almost as if they seriously prepared it with their eyes closed. I wish so badly that there was another option within walking distance to my office. I will regrettably return tomorrow morning for another dice roll of a breakfast experience.

I worked here for 2 months when I came to The country in 2010. The counter korean guy used to be really a douche bag at Night with me(I don’t see him anymore), I am not Mexican I guess He liked them more than any other nationality for delivery & stocking job. Beer & soda would go fast & I couldn’t keep up with the speed coz I still need to learn types of beverages at night. When I started a conversation with a customer, he would look at me like I have done something wrong !! WTF. I have a mop handle on my hand but still talking to them, what’s the problem with that?? One time he blamed me I was sleeping downstairs instead of taking the garbage out, before you accuse me of something that I have not yet done He needs to speak proper English with me. Lol.!! Don’t F**# with me bro, need to see my real side. I was struggling to have my American dream & bugger is Killing it. Mr Han was a nice guy & I still see him. I go there as a customer now, 1 star is for Reuben who offered me sandwich at midnight I got as snack & second star is that douce bag who gave pretty nice customer to deliver condom, ice cream & beer at night, made good tip though ! Super thanks

Great NYC deli/bodega. 3 dollar egg whites and avocado on a roll. Price can’t be beat. Always good, fresh and hot! They have a great selection of sour candies/snacks/chips /soda juices. I love this place

Stopped in for lunch and grabbed a turkey BLT Panini. The service was super fast and friendly enough. This place is running at the speed of NY so i won’t complain about the lack of smiles. Food is tasty and served hot when appropriate. The portions are good with fair pricing for the area. I will be back for more lunches :) I would have given 3.5 stars if I could.

Quick and painless. Many many sandwich options — I opted for the ruben just the way it comes. The meat was good, the sauce and cheese were perfect, and it took about four minutes from ordering to having it in my hands. A great selection of drinks, chips and other various things to add to your meal. A good quick lunch spot for not alot of money(~$ 8 for chips and a sandwich)

It takes a great deal of talent to mess up a toasted bagel with cream cheese, but the crew behind the sandwich counter know how to pull it off. First you start off by taking the fluffy bagel and smashing the dear life out of it by pressing it to death in the panini toaster, even though the regular toaster is sitting there in the other corner all warmed up and waiting to go. Then make sure the burn the bagel after flattening it to the height of toast. Then carefully lightly coat with cream cheese to get a 1 mm thickness on the burnt surface on one side. Then wrap up and give it to the customer. Well I guess to be fair he did a good job of wrapping it…

Fast sandwiches, wide assortment, consistently tasty. Their rolls are typically $ 7.00-$ 8.00. I had their King Grill, which is chicken breast meat, bacon, cheese, roasted red peppers, and some sauce. The sandwich was freaking packed and the first half was quite delicious, but by the time I got to the second half the dryness of the meat caught up and I could barely finish chewing to swallow. I’ve had some other sandwiches there though and they fared much better.

The $ 3 credit card minimum is what keeps me coming here… otherwise… Café Mercato across the street is a better option. Limited variety. Overpriced packaged fruit and the self-serve is pretty limited. The cashier to the right of the deli when you enter always looks at me like I’m stealing something. I go in there all the time; I think one would’ve noticed my thievery by now! Good place to go if you’re short on that strange paper money people still use from the old ages. Otherwise, head to Mercato.

I live right near here, which obviously means I live near a ton of other 24 hour bodegas as well. Han’s is my go to neighborhood spot, though, at least in the bodega realm(it’s a convenience store, not a night club). First and foremost, they’re fair. That may not sound like a lot, but at least around here, it’s nice that they don’t try and screw you over based on your state of inebriation or the time of day. They always charge the same price for beer, etc., that they always do, and they don’t try to guess what you’re willing to pay. There are places nearby that will charge you $ 3/beer, or $ 5/beer depending on the hour, but Han’s is consistent. The one thing I wish they would work on is their sandwich pricing, but whatever. Some afternoons a ham sandwich is $ 6.50, the next it’s $ 7. Not my favorite, but not the end of the world. They have a hot bar. I’ve never had it, so no comment. They also make a ton of sandwiches, and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s a pretty standard NY sandwich, but nothing wrong with it. It’s fresh, quick, and cheap. Based on selection, quality, friendliness, etc., I’d say they’re a four star Bodega, which is pretty much my top rating for a Bodega.

Han’s Deli place serves up pre-made sams when you ask for the«specials» during lunch hours. That’s not so fun, is it? But they do give you a «free» bag of chips when you get the«special» so maybe you can get down with that. As for the sams themselves, with such a bevy of sandwich options in this area, they are run-of-the-mill or slightly below average. But at least this joint doesn’t serve you months-old cole slaw in your sams .
