The star reviews here fascinate me – after finishing our food, my sister turned to me and said, «This has to be a front for the mafia. No way is this a restaurant.» Came here with my mom and sister on Black Friday for dinner. The restaurant was EMPTY except for us. Our waiter was very nice(shoutout to Tim), but that’s where this restaurant ends. My mom’s order: A BURGER with no bun(we asked for it that way) My mom recently had gastric bypass surgery and she ate this no problem, but she also can’t taste anything. My sister’s order: SPINACHKALEARTICHOKEDIP Sad, sad, sad. It was a bowl of warmed up cheese with, I kid you not, one green thing in it. My sister laughed. It tasted awful, too. My order: HALF A SOUP&SAMMY: CHICKENNOODLEANDGRILLEDCHEESE Okay, okay. Chicken noodle soup and grilled cheese are two things that are pretty much impossible to make taste awful. To put it into perspective, I eat 25 cent Top Ramen for dinner about once a week, so I’m not looking for great chicken noodle soup, nor is it hard to make. But this chicken noodle, man. Wtf. It was chicken, diced veggies, and two pasta noodles(like, Italian pasta noodles) in lukewarm water. I took one spoonful of it and thought it was a trick, maybe the top of it didn’t have flavor or something? So I took another spoonful. Nope. Even worse. It was chicken shreds with veggies in water. Listen, I understand not liking something because it doesn’t please your tastebuds. But this was quite actually water and chicken. I gave my mom a spoonful to try and she laughed. Half a grilled cheese – really, how can you mess up grilled cheese?! I took a bite of it and it was obvious the bread had been frozen. Frozen bread has a weird taste to it, and this was it. Maybe they thought grilling it like a panini would disguise frozen bread but it doesn’t. I ate it because I was hungry and the other Black Friday restaurant was full(go figure), but it was awful. When I got home I had severe stomach problems. All in all, I am ready to say with almost 90% positivity that the only way this place stays in business is something really very sketchy.

Went there for a late brunch on a Saturday. Fortunately they had a table open and we were seated right away. Hostess and waitress were both very nice and assisted us promptly. What we got: BKC punch: this was really delicious, i would highly recommend it. Mac and cheese Lollipops: basically fried mac and cheese balls. these were good, nothing crazy though. Cornflake crusted French Toast: really soft and delicious french toast logs/sticks. also good. Overall great experience, next time I plan no trying something else off the menu.

Went for brunch on a Sunday. It was just about right with the amount of people — no wait, maybe 1 or 2 tables available. Ordered the soup and sandwich combo — pulled pork with fried pickles with some kind of bbq sauce. It was pretty good, however we thought it was a small order for the sandwich. They ran out of coffee cups… so we had to wait a while for coffee, I think at least maybe 30+ mins until they had some more cups. We had a table of 6, so our food came out — not sure but I think about an hour. Our service was a bit scattered… but maybe it was because we had 6 people… but we did end up waiting for about 30 minutes for the server to come and pick up our credit cards. Food was decent. The bar downstairs is pretty epic, but it’s basically $ 8 beers. but then again prices are pretty standard for the area.

I got The Benny. My wife got something else that looked amazing, but to be honest I stopped paying attention to everything but The Benny once it arrived. This breakfast was triumphant. It brought together every different kind of breakfast. It’s a classic Benedict, with toasted sourdough that would be a treat by itself. On top of that are large crispy chunks of pork belly, as thick as a pack of cigarettes, and then perfectly poached eggs drizzled with a tasty sauce. The salad is the real genius, because the eggs and bacon quickly get mixed into that, and then your hearing fails and the room is switched off. Eat perfect breakfast is the only thing you know. Go there. Get The Benny. Thrive.

Sunday afternoon, sit at the bar after boxing(across the street at Work Train Fight) for brunch w/some fancy drinks… and let Anthony take care of you. He’s the BEST.

I can only speak for the cocktails in this review. I ordered a vodka tonic and my friend had the house frozen margarita. Wow!!! These folks can pour a serious drink! And their house frozen margarita also packed a serious punch. Bravo!

Cute place. Love the open doors. Our waitress was great. I like that they serve brunch during the week. I had the poached eggs with pork belly and maple Hollandaise sauce. I didn’t think it was all that flavorful. It was fine but was missing something. My coworkers were all happy with their meals. I’d be back– it’s a fine place.

Ordered: Root beer braised short ribs, Mac & cheese, and BBQ pork buns Pros– Tender and flavorful meat. Cons– A little disappointed that the root beer flavor wasn’t distinguishable.

Went here a while back with a friend and had one of the salads that they discontinued. It was pretty good — not superbly memorable, but it satisfied my expectations. Nice ambience. Good service — a little slow.

Let’s talk about this place in some quick words. Delicious, great service, filling but light enough where you’re not bursting at the seams. What we had: cornflake crusted French toast, the Benny and the egg omelet. French toast is completely yummy! Crunchy outside with a soft fluffy inside. Topped off with a light peanut butter mousse and a grape compote. Delicious to the last bite. The Benny, we got it the way it comes with pork belly. Not my favorite, the pork belly was fatty. Overall the eggs, spinach, and muffin were delicious. The omelet had goat cheese, spinach and mushrooms. Definitely a great collaboration of favors. They accompany it with home fries and a side salad. Final verdict: 5 stars across the board. How amazing!

This place was nothing special. Me and my boyfriend and I happen to stumbled upon the sign that says two for one drinks. So we thought why not. The overall feeling of the restaurant was nice and modern. After going in the place, it wasn’t busy at all. Maybe two tables and maybe two at the bar. We thought that the two for one drinks were for the seated tables as well because it did not specify that we had to sit at the bar to get the special. We ordered the Mac and cheese which was extremely dry on the top and the cheese sauce tasted like it was Ragu out of a can. The drinks were flavorless(the rocky mule and the golden age). The staff was overall nice and fairly attentive, but after realizing we weren’t going to be ordering entrees they didn’t seem to care about us. They never came over to see if we were okay.

We came to Bleecker Kitchen & Co as part of the LOADed Cocktail passport. When we entered, the staff asked if we would be dining with them. And when we said no, they just ignored us and started talking to the people behind us. So we navigated ourselves to the bar and ordered our drinks. First, the bartender gives us Zacapa Rum and Wild Turkey Bourbon neat. The whole point of the passport was to create cocktails from the listed alcohol. So we were expecting a Zacapa cocktail. When we told the bartender, he said he could serve us the rum either neat or on the rocks… Not the point. Because I couldn’t stomach the rum. I ordered the Tuna Tartare. After a long wait(I think there was a mix-up because we were at the bar), it came and it was passable. Small portions plus the tuna was not very fresh. Definitely not worth the hefty price tag. We promptly got our bill and left. Never to come back.

Service was nice at first but then waitress hardly came back to check on us. We wanted to order a side and more coffee but she didn’t give us the chance until it was too late. The food was very mediocre. The French toast tasted fried and oily like something from a street fair. Not sure why it was so recommended. The baked eggs were fine. The tomato and onions overwhelmed the eggs. Nothing amazing but also not bad. The breadcrumbs were good. I would rate this a little under 3, but rounded up. The people around us ordered the burgers and those seemed good

Solid new-ish option for weekend brunch on the corner of Broadway and Bleecker. We were walk-ins but they found a table for us pretty quickly. The bartender was a friendly fellow with a fine sense of humor. Food was solid all around – brunch burger, benedict with pork belly, steak and eggs, and the lobster roll side order – love that they offer that, even at a smaller size than usual. The Bloody Mary was up to snuff as well. Service was great as well, for such a frantic pace and table turning. The scene was a little too young and sororittyish for us, so you may need earplugs to drown out the sound of high-powered 20somethings catching up on their urban lives.

This was a really nice restaurant. Wait staff was helpful and then the food was great as well. We had the French toast which was really good. You can tell that the chef uses quality ingredients and pays special attention to every detail of his plates. Overall, it was a great brunch meal

This cute place in the Flatiron area is one of my favorites for brunch. It is intimate, not too loud, charming and has fun and friendly service. I love the chicken, the french toast and the omelets. But it wins my award for my favorite Bloody Mary in NYC for 2014, and you can keep ordering them! If you’re looking for a nice and fun brunch option in the Flatiron area, Bleecker Kitchen is a good one.

I ate brunch here the service and the place is very nice but the food isn’t good, i ordered two sunny side up eggs, they were oily, the rest of my family ordered scrambled eggs, it wasn’t fresh egg, they used frozen-baked eggs, the potatoes that they give you with eggs is very weird is like pie with onions inside and tasted old. For emergency brunch it is okey but not if you have time to choose a good restaurant for breakfast or brunch.

It was a very cold and windy Sunday and I was meeting 2 friends here. Ended up being the first one to arrive so I took a seat in the corner by the windows(it probably wasn’t the best idea because it was the coldest by the windows). We were HUNGRY! All of us ordered the bleecker burger and scarfed it down like we hadn’t eaten in days. It was just what you expected — a very large burger and fries. Not sure if the place next door is affiliated with this place, but you had to leave the restaurant through a side door and go downstairs to get to the bathroom. There was a cool bar vibe downstairs. Both the restaurant and this downstairs area were not very crowded on a Sunday, which was nice. Our server was great, friendly, and checked in on us multiple times throughout our meal.

They really tried to be outstanding but they were not(there is great potential). It was pretty loud and we had a small table right next to the bar so it was busy. The red wine selection by glass was not great(mostly wines from France if I remember correctly), it was served too warm and the wine glass was not clean. The food was good but it also had its price, I really liked that the plates were preheated.

Food: Benny [poached eggs over pork belly, sauteed spinach, & biscuit w/maple barbecue hollandaise; also served with small salad] $ 15: the eggs were cooked perfectly, but the pork belly was so thin that it was difficult to taste when you ate everything together. The side salad that came with it didn’t taste that fresh. Baked Eggs [avocado, spinach, roasted tomato, caramelized onions w/crostini] $ 12: overall, this dish was OK. I really liked the roasted tomato and avocado that were baked under the eggs. Steak & Eggs $ 17: Steak tasted pretty good; you choose how you want your eggs Corn Flake French Toast [french toasted breaded with corn flakes creating a crunchy exterior, served with peanut butter mousse and grape compote] $ 14: It comes with 3 pieces of rectangular shaped french toast, so great to share. IMO, this dish would be too heavy for me to finish. Judging from eating just one piece, it was pretty good! The peanut butter definitely went well. Crunch on the outside, soft in the inside. We ate it as our dessert :) Breakfast Pasty $ 5: Assortment of bite sized pastries; all the pastries were hard. Highly recommend against it. Coffee: Strong and always refilled! I don’t know why but chicken & waffles weren’t on the menu! Waitress: Super nice, friendly, & attentive :) It was pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon. There was still a short wait even with a reservation. I definitely recommend making reservations just to secure a spot. The restrooms are really nice and on your way down, you’ll pass an underground bar! I took a peak. It looked cool!
