Cool and funky shop. Totally fun to browse. They have some real gems inside. Definitely for the funkier, hipper, more fun you! When you get tired of shopping just go through to the bar and grab a drink. Nice space to hang out.

Apparently this place is a boutique by day and an art bar by night. I noticed on the mirror someone had written«Art +Community= Venue. My friend informed me that they have several artists come there to perform or have listening parties. I must say that I probably wouldn’t have come here on my own but I’m glad that I was exposed to something different last night. You don’t know what you like or dislike unless you try it first.

This review is for the bar behind Gureje, not the retail storefront: I’ve attended several events at the bar behind Gureje. I love the space and will definitely be back for their monthly comedy nights. Every time I go the space looks different, which I find fun and exciting. The drink specials also change often and always sound delightful. Unfortunately, every cocktail I’ve had there has been just slightly disappointing.(Mulled wine that wasn’t warm. A sweet cocktail missing a hit of acid to round it out.) This may be part of their growing pains as they get comfortable with their new bar space. Cash only(but if you don’t want to trek out into the rain or snow to the atm, they’ll take a card for a tab over $ 20.)

This is a nice little boutique with custom made jewelry and clothing(men and women). A great spot to rent if you want to throw small parties or photo shoots. And Jimi, the owner, is the nicest guy ever! I can tell when it gets warmer, I will be showing my face there a lot.

I’ve been living in the area for 4 yrs and have always wanted to stop by… so the day before my 27th birthday, I did! It was such a great experience(and there’s a sale going on too!) This 10 yr old boutique is the epitome of what BK is — custom, locally produced goods with a music vibe. The owner produces tie dyed African inspired clothing, of which he can tailor for you on the spot. I recently bought a linen dress that I love & can’t wait to wear. and pair of funky huge star earrings. Def a place to go to for unique, well made items. Prices are on the high end but if you take into account the craftsmanship and the quality. it’s reasonable. Anthropologie items can cost 2 — 3x what’s in the store… There’s a spot out back that is used for classes /workshops /events but I haven’t attended any yet. Found a great article on this spot:
