Figure Drawing at the Village@Gureje

Enid’s figure drawing classes are terrific. Enid is extremely attentive to every student and provides the right amount of guidance and encouragement.

This is a wonderful experience. I have wanted to return to drawing classes for many years and this is exactly what I wanted. The class is a small group [no more than 10] of adults of various levels of skill, in a pleasant ‘studio’ setting with easels, with nude models [both men and women] and an excellent teacher, Enid Baun. Enid is a talented, working artist herself and liberally shares her knowledge and experience on an individual basis. She knows how to explain what I am seeing and maybe not drawing. She discusses the anatomical issues and then shows what she explains on the model. It is really a great lesson in learning every time I go. I take classes on Saturdays and Mondays for three hours each. I really enjoy being there.
