A new fan of Grady’s Cold Brew — not sure why I hadn’t heard of it earlier since Café du Monde brewed extra strong is my favorite preground coffee.(Funny enough, I learned about it in a Runner’s World profile of one of the founders.) Anyway, it is on the pricier side but it’s well worth it. I mix the concentrate with a mixture of half and half and skim milk(more concentrate than milk) and a bit of agave syrup… and voilà. Beats drinking hot café du Monde in the summer or making your own iced version! Love, love, love.

As Greenpointers, we’ve watched Grady’s grow up and we feel so lucky to have them based in the neighborhood. Their cold brew is the best you can get and we love the morning coffee cart that they run in the summertime on Banker Street; it’s inexpensive and saves the trip to Whole Foods for growler refills.

I tried their cold press at the Brooklyn Bridge Park Smorgaburg. The coffee was delicious. Strong and flavorful. I generally don’t like paying $ 5 for a cup of iced coffee, but I would again in a heart beat for this stuff.

Hallelujah the Coffee Gods are alive! First found this in a Whole Foods in MA while I was on the road for work. I had it shipped to me the next day and got the order within 48 hours. SOGOOD! I ordered both the bottles and the bean bags so try and make my own. I’m a coffee snob and have been on the hunt for just the right brew and this is it! Worth every dime. If only they had a store in the first floor of my building in DC!

After a trip to Acme for smoked salmon haul, we came here in search of good coffee. It’s right around the corner… literally in the corner. It’s a coffee stand in the corner of a street like a lemonade stand(so Brooklyn). They serve fresh iced coffee right there, and you can choose to have milk in yours. You can also get their cold brew concentrate to go, available in 2 sizes. This is kind of the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. If you like New Orleans style coffee… strong, smooth, chicory(tastes chocolatey to me, mmm), gotta stop by their stand.

Great coffee, great service! I had it shipped to me in LA because I read good things about it. Somehow, the shipment got lost, and they shipped another bottle out to me, no questions asked. The response from Grady, himself, was extremely quick and helpful.

The coffee is lovely, smooth, creamy and strong. If you like the New Orleans iced coffee from Blue Bottle, it’s similar, with the bonus that it’s cheaper and you make it exactly the way you want it. But even better, from a lazy person’s point of view, they offer free delivery to many zip codes in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Maybe other boroughs too – you’d have to check the website. Our office ordered from their website around 5pm on a Tuesday and the friendly and helpful hipster delivery person(who’s undoubtedly a budding author or auteur) was on our doorstep the next morning. He offered to carry the heavy box of caffeinated goodness anywhere we wanted and, get this, he very nicely refused a tip. But make sure you have sufficient room in your fridge because the minimum order is six of the large bottles or 12 of the smaller bottles – and they all must be refrigerated. Go. Order. Empty your fridge if you have to. Do it before they start charging or get inundated with orders.

Only tried a sample, but it’s the best tasting iced coffee/cold brew I’ve ever had! Usually iced coffee is way too watery. Not this one! I can drink this concentrated coffee straight! And it won’t taste diluted when I throw in a couple ice cubes. LOVEITTT

This coffee was ONPOINT! I am a huge fan of Grady’s Cold Brew. The chicory-flavor really reminded me of the times I’ve spent in NOLA… What I like most about Grady’s is the fact that you can make tons of different drinks with it! Whether you want to use the concentrate to make a morning iced coffee or a White Russian at night, Grady’s is the way to go! Also, the $ 2 recycling gig they have is great!

I was able to try grady’s cold brew at a Unilocal event! This coffee is fantastic. I had it iced with milk. It was super creamy, refreshing, and smooth. It was so good, it didn’t need sugar. I actually went to get a second glass — and the guy working the table remembered me – I feel no shame! If only they sold this by the bottle at a store closer to where I live :/

The *best* iced coffee. Nothing compares — certainly not your low-end deli iced coffee, not your middle-of-the-road Starbucks iced coffee and not even your high-end cold-brewed at Ninth Street Coffee in New York or Stumptown in Portland. No, Grady’s Cold Brew(which you can buy at the grocery store, no less!) is *the* best. It’s concentrated, so it needs to be cut with water and a bit of cream(if you ask me). It’s also made with chicory, which I’ve never before had in coffee, but I’m now a convert. If I go out of town and don’t have access to my Grady’s, my mornings just aren’t the same. I seriously look forward to waking up in the morning because I get to have my iced coffee. Is that weird for a nonmorning person? Yeah, a little. But it’s true. As others have said: Return your bottles to the place of purchase(Whole Foods, in my case) and you get a $ 2 cash refund. You can also buy this stuff on Fresh Direct.

I loved this product so much! I ordered two bottles initially(sent to California) and used the concentrate to make my morning coffee each day until, alas, the two bottles were finished. The coffee was smooth and delicious and it was so easy to use. I usually heated it up in the microwave after putting creamer in it, but I also tried it iced several times and it was equally as good. I was, I must admit, skeptical at first, but I will order several more bottles as soon as I have room in my refrigerator.

Grady’s Cold Brew coffee is exceptional. It is made in the New Orleans style into a coffee concentrate using chicory; it is smooth and delicious. If you’ve been to NOLA you know what chicory can do to coffee, if not and you love coffee trust me. If you are a fan of iced coffee this is some of the best you will get. Since it is concentrate use half Grady’s and half milk or water. You don’t even need to add sweetener, it’s that good. Don’t forget to recycle and bring back your large bottle for a $ 2 discount off your next bottle. Grady’s can be found at Smorgasburg as well as shops like Fairway Markets and Whole Foods.
