Go Burger? More like No Burger. They only do delivery now. No more sitting down and enjoying the food. The burgers are still really delicious, though.

They don’t do business very well. The bun was terrible. They forgot an item to our delivery. Sides were average.

Great place to watch the games on Sunday with your family. Why cram into Stumble Inn when you can sit at a big, clean table, with whatever game you want shown on a nearby TV, at Go Burger? Delicious wings, great sweet potato fries, and very friendly service. The bathrooms are also super-clean, which you will appreciate if you have kids. We go as a family every Sunday in football season — great way to catch the game while spending time as a group.

Per my co-worker, I was strictly told to come to Go Burger and try the mac and cheese burger. It sounded like the heart attack that I had hoped I never would have to go through. Five seconds later, the rumination kicks in and images of warm cheesy mac and cheese bits are dancing around in my head. Then, it donned on me. I enjoy eating celery with peanut butter so who is to say that the mac and cheese burger wouldn’t be absolute yum. Fifteen minutes later, I was staring at a succulent mac and cheese burger along with its side kick, deep fried pickles. Ordered a beer with the above and the rest is history.

My lady and I went the other night, after a friend of ours had suggested it to us, and we were not disappointed. Good variety of beer on tap, bartender was extremely personable and made our night very enjoyable. Wings are very big and very tasty. Definitely making a trip back.

Eh. It’s whatever. There aren’t enough servers or something, because the service was so slow. It took about 10 minutes for us to get water. It took another 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Took another 30 minutes to get our food. What’s with all the waiting? It wasn’t even busy. At least our server was very friendly, so our overall experience wasn’t a complete fail. I had their Kobe Beef Sliders(BBQ, Maytag, BLT). The BLT one was the best. Good seasoning, good cooking on the beef, and everything was proportional. The other two were kind of bland. They didn’t really taste all too different from each other, and weren’t memorable. Their fried pickles were ridiculously salty and greasy. Do not order it. Their sweet potato fries were good. Probably the only thing I recommend if you happen to go here.

Great burgers Fake fries Warm beer Sloooow and apathetic service. Been there several times because the burgers are terrific. Stopped ordering a beer cause it is always NOT at all COLD!(although they will assure you it is) Went there today at 4:00PM. Hardly anyone there but took them ten mins to come to my table and almost 20 mins to bring my burger. Not going back again

The first time I came here I fell in love with their burgers. I ordered a smashed burger with some toppings and a side of sweet potato fries. I was most impressed by the texture and taste of the meat. I have been back a few time and the meat was a little inconsistent but still delicious. My absolute favorite is the ultimelt. I am amazed at how thin they cut the bread for the grilled cheese part of the burger. Prices are decent. Service hasn’t always been the greatest but never bad. Definitely a good place to have in the neighborhood. Will be back.

I don’t think I understand the appeal. I mean, I love burgers and I happen to enjoy beer/wine with burgers. I just don’t get why one has to make a burger so complex. Mac & cheese on a burger? The cheese part I get, the rest loses me. And, at its core, it’s a burger place; no need to be tres chic.(Oh, and why is the house beer, the Burger Ale, is Magic Hat. No problem with that at all, but why not just say that it’s Magic Hat?) I got the simplest burger I could find, with pickles and ketchup. The burger tasted fine, but the bun was falling apart when they set the plate in front of me. The waffle fries are pretty redeeming, though. Overall, yeah, I didn’t get it. I can get a good burger and beer elsewhere, without the vague pretense.

First night in Manhattan, walked out of my building and decided to have a low-key dinner at Go Burger. When I first walked in I was confused. It was really dark inside and the hostess stand is at the end of the bar, not right when you walk in, so I kind of stood there looking lost for a few minutes before the hostess walked over to get me. AWK It was a Tuesday night around 9:30pm so the place was pretty dead. I wasn’t really sure what to expect from the food so I just ordered a Blue Moon, Barnyard Burger and fries. I was surprised that an $ 8 burger didn’t include french fries, especially considering the burger was nothing special – literally bun, cheese and burger, but I was hungry so I paid the extra $ 4. The atmosphere was pretty chill and casual. Made sitting alone and reading after a long day of traveling quite relaxing. A-OK sums it up.

Burgers here are good but they are also smallish and pricey. I got the BLT burger and my son got the Mac and Cheese Burger. Burgers do not come with fries; those cost extra. My daughter got the caesar salad with grilled chicken. They gave her a fairly huge salad with a lot of chopped /diced grilled chicken. My problem with the salad was that the chicken seemed to have been sitting around awhile and /or clearly not fresh of the grill. We drank tap water(from bottles) and split an order of waffle fries. The fries were good burt also pricey. The bill for everything came out to just shy of 50 bucks. The place was not very crowded and yet the service was slow /addled. I think the food here is decidedly overpriced for what you get; however, if you stick to burgers(and fries) as opposed to other non-burger menu choices and if you are not in a big hurry to be somewhere or otherwise pressed for time, this is not a bad choice on the UES. Go Burger is not a bad option for a burger but I heard Shake Shack is a far better choice for burgers in the city(but I don’t think any of those are in or close to the UES).

I returned to my old Sunday stomping ground for lunch yesterday and relived my milkshake-burger dream combination! Service here has always been friendly and the quality of food has always been excellent. If you’re coming here for a burger, I strongly recommend the Smash Burger. I usually get mine with extra jalapenos, red onions and a fried egg — very tasty! I also ordered the Rocky Road milkshake, spiked with some dark rum. It is one of my favourites! My friend always gets the Grandma’s Treat, which is also pretty good. I have the had the wings here before, and they are very underrated! They are VERY good! Overall, if you’re looking for a low-key spot to get good food and drinks and hang with friends in a location where you can actually hear each other, Go Burger is a great choice!

The grilled cheese for $ 6 was pretty standard. This place is pretty spacious, and just looks like a nice bar/diner. I liked how some food was written on their ceilings too, haha. Btw I noticed they said no strollers yet a lady with a stroller did come in. Don’t people get worried that they’d get stolen?

Holy Moly Guacamole! Stuffed and satisfied. Went for lunch with the husband… Any place who FRIES a mac n’ cheese patty and throws it on a cheeseburger(which you could replace with a turkey burger if you’re like me and don’t eat beef)…is a friend of mine! Seriously. It’s genius. Food: Spinach/Artichoke Dip for App… YUM! Waffle fries and the Mac n’ Cheese Burger! Take the first bite right into the burger, then pick up your knife and fork! It’s just so amazing, you cannot explain it. You just have to try it. Drink: We had Narragansett beer… so very fruity and light. Perfect for the summer. Then we had the Spiked Cookie Monster Shake(to share). This was it… this was the straw that put me into a food coma. What was supposed to be a day date and walk, turned into day date and nap! haha Price: We shared everything, so for 1 app, 1 burger, 1 sides, 2 beers and 1 shake we spent like $ 60. Not expensive but it’s not a cheap. Staff: SONICE! SONICE!

Came here on a nice, sunny day and decided to sit outside. Seeing that it was the first pleasant day of spring, the place was empty inside, with everyone hogging the seats outside. The place was nice. I wasn’t too hungry so decided to order a few appetizers. We started with the Jalapeño Poppers. They were good, but had way too much cream cheese inside to even enjoy the taste of the jalapenos. We then tried some wings. We wanted 2 orders of different flavors, but they said we could only order 1 flavor(huh?), so we decided to go with the Tangy BBQ. They were a little dry, but they weren’t bad. Then we tried the Kobe Beef Sliders. Decided to try the BLT and the BBQ flavors. The BLT was good, and the BBQ was excellent. I really enjoyed the sliders. Service was good and pretty fast.

I thought the burger here was OK, I think it sounds better than it is. Two grilled cheeses in between a burger? The burger was cooked med-rare but after have Burger Club I know expect every burger to just pour juice out, which this did not. The grilled cheese parts of the burger are super thin, and to me it tasted more like a reuben than anything else… not that it’s a bad thing. They have beer and also spiked milk shakes which seem pretty interesting.

Decent burger place– it’s a rather large restaurant so it’s good for large groups. There are multiple TV’s around playing sports as well. The staff was super accommodating when our group kept growing. and growing… Definitely 5⁄5 for the service. Our waiter even comped a sundae for the birthday girl! Food is pretty good. The fried pickles, while crunchy and oily and delicious, were a little bread-y. My Turk burger was not bad Maybe the patty was a little bit dry, but the herb mayo was enough to make up for it. There wasn’t too much mayo– just enough to compliment the burger. The buns weren’t hard, and the tomato fresh. If you check in here on Foursquare you get a free Bud Light or shake. I got the coffee shake, which was yummy(you can’t really go wrong with a sundae)…They also have a pretty creative drinks list from which my friend got a salted caramel martini. It has pumpkin syrup in it and it’s really good, but on the sweeter side. They rim the glass with salt. They serve beer at an average of $ 5/bottle which is great, and have wine as well. All in all, a solid burger place with a good variety of drinks. It’d say a 3.5, but bumped it up to 4 because of the great service.

On our way to JG Melon, my friend tempted me to give GO burger a whirl since I had never been there before and it’s a mere 2 blocks away from my apt– OK, let’s go! Well, my patty melt was very tasty and I enjoyed the«special sauce» that compliments it. The waffles fries were delightful, BUT I was NOT happy at all when I saw the bill with $ 0.75 added TWICE: BBQ and a ranch dipping sauce. Are you kidding me!!! First of all, who charges for BBQ sauce in a burger joint? I do not like places who try to make $$ off these little items. We didn’t even use their ketchup and mustard– should we get credited back for that? The only reason I would go back is for the milkshakes, but with the penny-pinching going on over there, I will skip over to any other places on 2nd ave or even 16 Handles! I missed you for dinner, JG Melon!

Another new burger joint that has joined the ranks of the many restaurants and bars that line 2nd Ave on the UES. This place has a well thought out décor and design aspect. Sleek bar up front, fun signage on the ceiling, large garage door front opening, flat screens, nice tables and seating, and even some outside tables and chairs. Nice selection of craft beers on tap, and a full bar with cocktails. But the thing is, what does all this matter if the food itself does not hold up? That is what I thought as I sat down to eat a meal here tonight. It was about 10:30 when I dropped in here tonight to try it out. Sat at the bar so I could watch the games on the tv’s above it. Ordered The Classic Burger which is 100% angus beef on a brioche bun with red onion and cheddar cheese. Had a side of fried dill pickles, and a black and white milkshake. The presentation makes everything look great. Here is the verdict — Totally not worth the overpriced rates they are charging. Sorry to say, this place is more like a Ford Pinto all tricked out and trying to come off as a Porsche. I had no problem with the service as the bartender was attentive and the food came out quickly. It was with the food, or lack of it. The burger, for $ 9 and and extra $ 1 for cheese was more like a slider buried in a dry bun. There really was not much flavor to it, and as the old saying goes — «Where’s The Beef?». The fried pickles were decent but way too greasy. The dipping sauce was the best part. The shake was ok, but it seemed that it was 2/3rds shake and 1⁄3rd whipped cream in the glass. The total cost for the underwhelming meal before tax? $ 22.00! WTF!!! For what was basically a lame mini meat burger, a shake, and fried pickles. Seriously, for a $ 10 burger I expected so much more of this place. There are many other spots in the area to get a tastier burger at a better price. Also, that is just for their regular burger, as others on the menu are in the $ 11-$ 13 dollar range. Plus, you have to pay $ 3-$ 5 for fries. At least you get a spoon full of coleslaw and a pickle with the burger. Whoopie. Skip this one. Many other places close by to get a better burger that will actually fill you up at a lower cost. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — I won’t even get into the piece of bone/grizzle that almost broke my tooth biting into it. Ugh!
