goos drinks, great atmosphere and they have a nice variety of grill cheese sandwiches that go down smooth after some beer and shots. dark bar stick tables but its a bar. found this place after getting same tattoos and it helped!

Love the brunch tacos and their bloody Mary… They closed a few weeks ago. No signs. Are you guys coming back?

Purchased a Unilocal deal that doesn’t have an expiration date and came in last night. The tables were sticky at 7 pm. The bartender took one look at the Unilocal deal and just said they aren’t taking them any more. The hell? I noticed they have a B rating from the Department of Health on my way out. Maybe their tables shouldn’t be so sticky within being open a couple hours on a weekday. Got outta that place and immediately went next door to Drop Off Service. –BTW, for anyone wondering, Unilocal doesn’t give refunds on vouchers, so this place basically has taken my money without giving me anything in return. Thieves.

Late night find. Good service, great choice of bar food. Bartender was super friendly and we were able to watch the game on the TV. Would definitely come back

Watched the Jets game here yesterday. Main takeaway: half-priced drinks all day on Sunday, which meant that 2 Coors Lights, 1 Gin and Tonic, and a Tecate was $ 11. It’d be great if they swapped the football game sound for music, but you can’t beat the prices. It’s considerably less crowded, and cheaper than Percys across the street.

This is a bar, not a restaurant or grill. They only have snack food and cheap meals. The place is nice for a divebar, and the one guy working at the bar was friendly and mad good drinks. I was disappointed, because I was expecting some real food. They forgot to use the check in voucher that supposedly gave us an extra meal. But that’s ok, we’ve already lost our appatite by then.

This is my first review in YEARS. Partially because I haven’t been anywhere worthy of a review, but mostly because I haven’t left my apartment in years because of grad school. I finally left my apartment the other day, and after my first shower of 2014, I met up with some friends at Destination bar and grill. I used to hang out in the area and this bar wasn’t around yet; or maybe it was another bar, as is the trend in east village. I came on a weeknight, for happy hour. The food was pretty good, not mind-blowing. The beers on tap were of good variety(not just bud light). But the BEST part of my night was the bartender during happy hour. I LOVE her. I almost never get any attention at bars, and I have to wait forever to get anyone to give me a drink. I don’t know what it is – the fact that the bar comes up to my eye-level, or my bitchy resting face. Regardless, she notices and remembers me right away(I drink a lot at a very fast pace, so I go up to the bar practically every 35 minutes, I should probably be in AA instead of writing a review on Unilocal). She’s super friendly and gives me such a warm smile whenever I head to the bar. If I were a lesbian, she’d be the first bartender I’d hit on. Alas, her shift ends, and the next bartender was alright. She might have been good, but the bartender I had was a tough act to follow. Oh and the cocktails on happy hour were good(again, not mind-blowing, but cocktails for $ 6 is rare in and of itself, but in east village? it’s like finding a unicorn. A delicious and drunk unicorn.) bla bla bla, BARTENDER. If I made enough money to live in this area, this would be my neighborhood bar. I used to live in the area, but I developed an interest in having money for silly things like food and clothing. So, I guess now I will have to drop by whenever I can to drink angrily and judge everyone around me for being able to live here.

Perfect bar to relax and have a couple of drinks with friends! Their hh ends at 8pm but all their drinks are half off. Cocktails normally cost $ 10 each but I got to enjoy their ginger kid and something punch(lol can’t remember the exact name but its the last one on the drink menu, btw extremely delicious) for $ 5 each. In addition, this place has great specials all through out the week! I want to return and try their wine for $ 4 each on weds.(Wine is half off all day on wed). As for the space itself, there are many possible seating areas and they even have board games available in the back of the bar… Quite entertaining! My bf loved this place bc there are tvs so he not only got to hang out with me but he also had a chance to watch the game ;) I think this place is ideal for large groups bc I saw many groups taking advantage of their hh on a fri evening. From previous reviews the food seems to be a thumbs up and I wouldn’t mind returning to try their brunch during the wkend. I would also continue to return to try out their specials, which they have a lot of! I must keep up with them.

Solid place for drinks and random bar food. That being said, do NOT order the wings. $ 9 for 6 small wings? Is chicken really that expensive these days? C’mon son. My friends and I usually hit this place up for cheap Friday drinks and random low-key weekdays. Also, just found out about mac and cheese Mondays, when you get a free bowl of mac and cheese for every $ 6 drink you buy from 8−11pm. Overall, specials are pretty killer. Also just found out on Thursdays, specialty thin crust pizzas are only $ 7 with the purchase of a draft beer. Got the Buffalo Bleu(buffalo chicken and bleu cheese crumbles) and the Mac and Cheese Pizzas. Damn, that’s good. Crust was a little burnt, but not too shabby. Buffalo bleu was bit salty, but the mac and cheese pizza was pretty much perfect. They use non-processed cheese, which is definitely a plus. Probably gonna hit this up more often on Thursdays from now on. Bartenders are pretty chatty and attentive. They definitely know how to schmooze, and you know what? It works. Engaging conversation and is somewhat of a lost art these days and it was definitely an enjoyable experience sitting at the bar. Overall, a good place for happy hour and low-key weekend nights. And cool bartenders. Tip them well and enjoy some of those specials.

Went to Destination last night and it will now be one of my go-to happy hour spots. You cannot beat the drink special — half off until 8, although if you’re friendly to the bartender they’ll stamp your hand for an extended hour! Five dollar cocktails, three dollar beers — what’s not to love. The food was also surprisingly really good. The bacon infused sliders and Parmesan garlic fries are unreal! The bartenders are all really friendly too which is always a plus and the music was on point! 90s/2000s jams? Yes please! Love this place!

This is a small-ish bar with great garlic-Parmesan fries and a nice grilled cheese sandwich. The bartender kind of threw us off because she wasn’t that friendly and it wasn’t that busy. Also, I got a free item by checking in on Unilocal.I told her about it, but she later tried to charge me for the item I ordered about 30 minutes later. It’s a pretty standard bar.

Just a seriously chill bar to kick back in and most of all — JELLOSHOTS!!! Met up with a group of friends for an impromptu happy hour drinking binge here and had a great time. The place itself has a really cozy vibe, old wooden floors, open air front façade, and a terrific jukebox. Happy hour runs until 8PM every day and is half off everything — yes, everything! I really like this type of bar. Not too big but has seating spots all around, a worn comfortable looking décor, nice bar area, and the front has what looks to be the original windows and small porch area from years ago. Nice bathrooms. A cool mix of 50’s– 90’s music playing on the jukebox. Board games available, Bartender was super nice and took care of us. She also threw us a round of shots before getting off her shift as we paid out. It’s the kind of place you can get lost in for hours. Especially during happy hour! So sweet! Have been here a few times before and they usually have four types of jello shots at $ 3 a piece — Jello-Rita, Jello Fuzzy Navel, Jello Cherry Coke, and Jello Pineapple Paradise. Six types of beer on tap at $ 6 or $ 7 a pint — Guinness, Sam Adams, Brooklyn, Warsteiner, Coors Lite and Goose Island — not a bad little selection. Seems they rotate the beers seasonally too. They also offer a nice list of canned and bottled beers such as Pork Slap, PBR, and Tecate. With the long happy hour it makes for a great drinking spot. There are also some house cocktails at $ 10 each that are made nice and strong. If hungry there is also a small pub menu with tasty munchies such as hot pretzels, sliders, fried pickle chips, and pizzas. Perfect to help soak up all that alcohol in your belly! As I stated before, happy hour here runs late until 8PM and everything is half off! Plus, they have an everyday special of a $ 6 Genny, PBR, or Coors Light with a well shot after 8PM. Time to get your boozin’ on! Cozy bar, chill vibe, non pretentious friendly crowd and bartenders, great happy hour. Just a terrific remedy for what ails you. This is definitely a Destination Bar & Grill to pay a visit to if in the area.

Fun bar. Nice bartender. Great selection of drinks. Amazing Happy Hour! The whole bar is half price every day until 8pm and all day on Sundays! You can’t use the 20 for 40 Unilocal deal during happy hour though, so keep that in mind before buying it. It’s so cheap there during happy hour though so it’s not a big deal. My friend and I each ordered food and probably at at least 10 drinks between the 2 of us and our tab was only $ 50 during happy hour!

Half off all drinks happy hour until 8pm– wow! That’s a seriously great deal. My friend and I purchased the $ 20 for $ 40 Unilocal deal and it was completely worth it. You can’t use the deal until after happy hour ends(womp) we learned but the happy hour specials were so great we didn’t mind ordering half priced beers until 8 when our deal kicked in. I wish we’d known about the happy hour at the beginning of our evening. Apparently also if you check in you get a 2 for 1 food item? We obviously couldn’t combine deals but we still got our money’s worth. We ended up using the deal to buy a cocktail each and two food items. I had a really delicious prosecco drink and my friend ordered a ginger whiskey one, which she liked. The cocktail selection was fun, nothing fancy but the drinks are solid. The food really was awesome! We ordered the grilled cheese and the chips and guacamole. I could have used a little more guacamole for the chips(the portion size was fine, I just like guac). The grilled cheese was yummy too. I was pretty surprised at how good the food was, actually, given that we were eating at a bar. I’d definitely go back and use that two for one food deal or buy the Unilocal deal again– one of these plus the happy hour prices here make for a cheap night. The space was pretty big, with a lot of comfy couches and the music they were playing was great. Some guy tried to take our couch when we got up to use our Unilocal deal(our jackets were there!) and I accidentally yelled louder than I meant to and he got scared and spilled his beer so, that guy, if you’re reading this I’m still sorry about that.

I stumbled into here one night(this seems to be a theme with my bar reviews). I remember the bartender was really cute. I remember the food was really really good. I remember that there was a really good looking guy making out with a really ugly girl Back to the food: The fries were greasy(we added cheese and bacon to em too) The burgers were really good And we ordered something else but I’m lucky I remembered this much

Very cool spot in Alphabet City. Bartenders are among the most attentive I’ve ever seen, even in a full bar. Went on St. Paddy’s Day and they had awesome and cheap drink specials. Only two complaints– the unisex bathroom line took f.o.r.e.v.e.r. But I made some friends while there. Also, the music went from really good to really bad a few times. Not sure if it was the jukebox or just someone’s iTunes on shuffle, but I ain’t trying to hear 80s power ballads at 10pm. They also have a free phone charging station, which is really cool. The bouncer was super friendly too.
