The crepes did not disappoint! I loved that they use organic egg from their own farm! I picked the Farmer’s Crêpe for my vegetarian choice. The crêpe itself was a perfect balance of soft and crunchy with just enough filling which turned out to be healthy and delicious! Be aware of the small restaurant capacity as they share the space with another restaurant, so this is not a place for big groups. Otherwise it is a unique location and perfect for brunch or casual date.

Came for lunch. It’s an intimate space, as you may gather from the other reviewers. We each had a savory crêpe: she had the crêpe complète and I had the chicken and asparagus crêpe. Hers looked delicious, runny eggs, ham and cheese — seemed like a good bet. Mine was decent, but on the dry side. The chicken was shredded white meat, and there was definitely a good amount of protein. I also love goat cheese so that was a nice touch, however, it could have used a sauce.(There’s a lemon caper butter mentioned in the description, perhaps they forgot it? And if not, it was still too dry.) In any case, it was a pretty good portion, not a dainty meal that you might imagine when you hear«crêpe.» Two cocktails and two crêpes runs you about $ 58(w/o tip). Service was acceptable, but the drinks took some time to arrive and we ended up chugging them to get out within a lunch hour. I may return to try a sweet crêpe, but for the price, I’m not sure I’d run back.

Really good spot for a crêpe, if you’re in the mood for a savory(or sweet) snack. This place is somewhat tough to find, but it’s worth the search! I had the crêpe du nord(salmon and egg) with dill cream and some greens on the side, pretty much an upscale version of the lox bagel. The salmon is ridiculously good along with the soft, fluffy crêpe and lightly seasoned scrambled egg — though I do agree with Lou K. that it could use some more acidity, but no complaints otherwise. Will be back eventually for a dessert crêpe!

If you’re ever in the mood for a crêpe brunch, great value, and a beautiful setting, you’ll like this place. The entrance is a bit deceiving, as the place is bigger a bit inwards, and it was a surprising set up. The crepes themselves are good, but the savory crepes felt safe. I ordered the crêpe du nord(originality overdose lol) because I wanted to see why the place was named after it(or vice versa). The salmon was perfect, but the eggs were a bit dry. If some capers were added, or maybe a bit more lime, it would’ve made a huge difference. The savory crepes were actually the perfect balance. I ordered another not-so-original choice, bananas and Nutella. Usually, other places drown their crepes in Nutella, which I never liked, because there’s more to this dish than chocolate. And this place knew exactly what it was doing. The sweet banana Nutella crêpe was delicious, and felt original in a market filled with duplicates. Overall, this place is the newest addition to my bookmarks, and it’s definitely a place I’ll commute to.

I work right around the corner from Crêpes du Nord and it’s such a shame I don’t get in there more — I’m always pleasantly surprised. It’s a small place so I certainty wouldn’t recommend it for a large group or going at a very busy time. It’s a railroad style restaurant with little room to spare between tables. My two favorites are probably the Prosciutto di Parma and the Chicken and Asparagus crêpe. The prosciutto one is filled with ricotta cheese — can’t go wrong with that. They come out hot, fresh and are quite filling. Most come with a little side of greens. Last time I went was the first time I tried a dessert crêpe there. We got the lingonberry and cream one(this is a Scandinavian influenced place, by the way). It didn’t disappoint either. This is a great little spot if you have a crêpe craving or want to have a nice lunch on Stone Street.

Perfect for sweet or savory. The crepes are just perfect for lunch or dinner. The specials are usually great, perfect for friends or an informal date. Great financial district spot and near to the ferry for all you Staten Islanders

Wow the prosciutto crêpe was heavenly! My friends got the sweet crepes and they were just as good! Solid food with a great atmosphere and excellent service.

My crepes were cold in the middle; the cheese wasn’t melted and mushrooms were also raw. The salad lettuce didn’t seem to be fresh and many leaves were wilted. Service was just okay. Overall a mediocre experience and I would not return.

Dessert: Banana nutella crêpe with strawberries… SOOODELISHHH. The crêpe was cooked well, as in, it wasn’t too dough-y. It also wasn’t drenched in nutella so it brought out the fruits’ flavors! Service: Great! She was friendly and attentive but didn’t bother us too much. Glasses were always full. Ambiance: This place is way bigger than it looks in the entrance! There’s more seating past the kitchen area and there’s also outside seating in the back of the restaurant. Pretty lights on the outside give it a romantic/intimate setting. No question about it — I would definitely return for their delicious dessert crepes :)

This place rocked! We went for brunch — I had the Crêpe du Nord and my boyfriend had the Lingonberry Crêpe. The Lingonberry Crêpe was a bit sweeter than he had expected it to be, but he ordered a DESSERT crêpe for brunch, so I think that’s fair, haha. It came with ricotta cheese and was also topped with an absolutely delicious dallop of whipped cream. Yummy, but not incredibly memorable. The Crêpe du Nord, on the other hand, was really superb. The egg inside had been cooked really delicately, and had a creamy, pillowy texture, as if it was something between scrambled and steamed. Contrary to some of the other reviews, I thought there was plenty of smoked salmon. It had a light, fresh flavor and complemented the dill crème well. I do think that it was quite heavy compared to what I expected when ordering, but it was delicious so I barely noticed until I was nearing the end of it. I have to say that the place was pretty packed, though… The waitress was nice, but definitely seemed a bit rushed. I’ll definitely will head back here again, when I’m in the area, and if it’s less busy.

A decent crêpe place in the Financial District. My coworker and I had been meaning to come here and since I’m headed to Midtown East soon, we decided to come for lunch. The entrance leaves you by what appears to be a to-go counter, however, it’s where all the food is produced, including the food for the people dining-in. The staff is friendly but a bit rushed. The space is long and narrow so it can feel a bit cramped. My coworker and I both ordered the savory crêpe with salmon and eggs. The crêpe itself is just okay, a bit too heavy for my taste. The eggs were good and the salmon was a nice touch. The dressing on the side salad was delicious. Overall, a decent crêpe place but could be a bit better.

Small, cozy place in Fidi that has delicious savory and sweet crepes. I’ve had the crêpe vegetarianne and the berry chocolate crêpe, both very good. A bit pricy for crepes but it’s nice that they give you a side salad for the savory crepes. The seating in the dining area is a bit uncomfortable since they are high bar stools. I also noticed that my hair and clothes smelled weird when I left the place but I’m guessing that’s because they make the crepes a few feet away from the tables.

Even though it’s only been 4 hours since I ate at Crepes Du Nord, I’m still salivating at the thoughts of the delicious meal I enjoyed and trying to figure out when I can go back! I came here with one of my coworkers during peak lunch hours. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were able to keep things moving(which was good because we only had about 45 minutes before having to head back to the office) — while also being super friendly and not feeling rushed. Most of all, the FOODWASSOGOOD! I ordered the prosciutto di parma savory crêpe — it was out of this world delicious. The crêpe was stuffed with yummy ricotta and then topped with arugula covered in a lemon-parm dressing, which was topped with proscuitto. It was a good sized portion so I was totally stuffed after I cleared my plate. My friend ordered the ham, egg, and cheese crêpe, which looked so good that it could have been on the cover of a magazine. Despite being stuffed from our savory crepes, we still decided to split the nutella and banana sweet crêpe. It was very yummy, but I think I will explore other sweet crepes in the future. Looking forward to coming back!

Great freshly made crepes. You can literally watch them make the crêpe for you. Freshly made and with an abundance of options ranging from savory to sweet, you are bound to find at least one item, if not all, on their menu to be worth at least one try. Little lanterns hang upon the walls of a narrow corridor that seats high tables and chairs. A small nook, tucked amongst the tall financial district buildings. Sitting in their seats, it’s easy to imagine yourself far away from the busy streets of New York especially when you have wonderful company, such as that of my fiancé. We dined upon their crepes, of the savory kind. Their original Crêpe Du Nord, made with scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and dill crème. The smoked salmon had great flavor and aroma. The lightly scrambled eggs wrapped within their freshly folded buckwheat crêpe brought a good balance to the salmon placed on top. If you like crepes and want to have some, this will be the best place to go if you’re in the financial district.

Loved eating here in a Sunday. Great, friendly service, very nice wines by the glass as well as overall wine list. Delicious overall experience! Enjoyed breakfast crêpe and chicken with asparagus crepes and we shared soup special. Very good!

Met up with my cousin here on her lunch break on a Thursday around noon. there was a wait for a table so we sat at the side bar area. not too bad for a party of 2. We ordered one savory crêpe and one dessert crêpe. BOTH were delicious. everything is made fresh and it seems very healthy for the most part. Savory crêpe we ordered was the chicken and asparagus with goat cheese. Goat cheese was really over powering but we both LOVE cheese so that was not a problem. If you don’t like cheese, please don’t order it because goat cheese has an acquired taste. The sweet crêpe we ordered was the nutella/strawberry one… can never go wrong with that combo! it also came with a scoop of ice cream so we had to eat this one first because the ice cream will melt fast. YUM!

Freshly made crepes range from savory to salty flavors. It’s a small cozy café. My two reservations for not frequenting this place as much as I’d like to – 1) high bar style chairs are not comfortable to sit and enjoy a meal and 2) the vent is awful! My clothing and hair smelled so badly after I spent 30 mins dining at this small shop.

This may be my new favorite lunch spot! I almost never go out for lunch, so that might not say much, but this is a great place to go with a friend or small group(four people or fewer). My friend and I came in at 12:45 and it wasn’t very busy. Our server was friendly and efficient. I had the eponymous dish, which consisted of scrambled egg, smoked salmon, and dill crème. It was well made, but I was hoping for more salmon. I would come back another time to try some different crêpes.

I’m sooo glad we found this tiny crêpe shop in the financial district! It seats less than 20 and the back is connected to the back of another restaurant(I think they use the same kitchen?). FOOD Prosciutto Crêpe: Delicious! The goat cheese went really well with the arugula Crêpe du Norde: A lot of scrambled egg inside the crêpe with smoked salmon on top. Not my thing as I don’t like scrambled eggs. Comes with a side salad. The crêpe was made from buckwheat so it’s healthier than regular crepes Berry Chocolate: Looks just like the picture! Sooo good! Get it! AMBIENCE The restaurant is very small and only seats 18 people but that makes it cozy. It shares a bathroom with the restaurant behind it. There was trance music playing when we were there. The small entrance is easy to overlook. SERVICE There was only one server but she didn’t really check up on us. Food came out quick. OVERALL I’d come back again! This shop is so cute and I’m really glad that we found this little gem. Definitely worth the search for crepes!
