I come here after work sometimes and it is always amazing. One of the best quick pizza places in the city.

Alright well we ordered from them and apparently they «don’t deliver here» even though they came up on seamless. Maybe it’s seamless’ fault but when I told them that they gave me way too much attitude so I have officially declared them assholes. #byeeeeeeeee pizza 23.
If I actually get to try their pizza I may update this review.

«It’s worth the wait» is a concept that in no way, shape or form applies to is place. Order a couple of slices and in an HOUR or more you will get 2 slices that are soggy and barely warm because they assembled your order promptly but it sat someplace for 58 minutes. If you call and ask about your order the dickhead who answers will act like… a dickhead. BOYCOTT.

I placed an order with Chelsea 23 via grubhub that the restaurant refused to accept. They gave GH some excuse about their fax line being down but then refused to accept my order over the phone. I waited over an hour to find out that my lunch would not be arriving. I called the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager and the employee who answered was incredibly rude and tried to tell me that there was no manager on duty at 1:30 on a weekday afternoon. I don’t see how that’s possible unless this restaurant is just that terribly run.
Avoid at all costs.

Perfect New York pizza. Perfect price, perfect taste, perfect slice!!! This was, surprisingly the food highlight of our quick trip to NYC!

I used to come here a lot mostly for the margarita slices. Whenever I would have group meetings, I would order several pies where they would start giving me free sodas on every order.
I don’t know if management changed but they stopped giving me free sodas even when I would continue ordering regularly and several pies. I also noticed that they’ve started to skimp more in terms of ingredients and the margarita slices are always soggy.

Yes the staff is rude and has been since it’s been «33» but the pizza is still just as good. $ 3.75 for a fresh margarita slice isn’t bad these days and it’s always consistently good.

Other than the awkward exchanges (or lack thereof) between me and the staff — which in all honesty could have been the byproduct of a language barrier — I had a pleasant experience.
The pizza was tasty and reasonably priced. Located down the street from the infamous Hotel Chelsea and Bow Tie Cinemas, it’s a great place to swing by, grab a slice, and kill some time.

Incredibly rude and way overpriced for what you get. Staff try and get as much money out of you as possible without informing you of specials for the same price.
