Good pizza. Friendly employees.
Perfect distance from the movie theater, so it’s convenient. Nothing spectacular but does the job when you want a quick slice.
The guy behind the counter was nice enough to tell a customer who was looking for ices that the pizza place down the block sells them (this place doesn’t). She was about to sit down but he told her about the other place, so she left. Good customer service, if you ask me. Worth to mention.

This is by far the best «hole in the wall» pizza I’ve had in the city. I live a few blocks away and eat here as often as possible. Absolutely fantastic sausage and white slices, and their regular old cheese slices are classic.

I’d consider myself a minor connoisseur of pizza and not just because I can spell the word. Truth be told there are many $ 1 slice places that have a tastier cheese slice than this place.
Very generic, very average, very weak, if you ask me. This place lives only for it’s location, i highly doubt it is any pizza destination.
Service was fast, and slice was heated nicely though. $ 2.50 for basic cheese slice.

I have a love/​hate relationship with this hole in the wall pizza joint since it is literally around the corner from my place.
Sober: the slices are mediocre at best… the sauce tastes like spaghetti and the cheese is scarce, dry and greasy. A few martinis in, however, these slices are crunchy on the bottom like the cornbread crust I favored in San Francisco and the cheese is salty, plentiful, and gooey.
This could mean I’m either an easy to please drunk OR the quality of the pizza is hit or miss depending on the night. You decide.

I’m giving two stars because the guy who served my slice was new and clearly in trouble with the boss. You can tell the pizza is not going to be good before you eat it. Before they hand it to you even. That’s probably why no one had reviewed it until now!
