My boyfriend and I came here with a groupon. The service was horrible, maybe it was because we had a groupon, The food was phenomenal though and we were able to get a seat near the window overlooking the ice skating rink. I must mention the blue velvet cake. I’m not a an of red velvet but not only was teh blue velvet pretty, it was delicious! The atmosphere was nice but again, i can’t stress how horrible the service was. Also, without a groupon, I WOULDNOT recommend coming here because the prices are outrageous.

I love this place. Very organized, of you’d like to have food and drinks you can sit outside under the lamps otherwise they have a great lounge inside for just drinks. We came here on a groupon 115.00 for one app, two entrees, two drinks and a desert also included was ice skating and skate rentals. The food here is decent 3.5 stars, everything else is 5 star icluding drinks service and price(regular price without the groupon isn“t all that bad, usually around 60 bucks for a couple drinks and some food) Our server last night was Talia and she was great, very attentive, the busser was very attentive as well. My cauliflower mac and cheese was sooooooo good, and they have decent wines which are average price for the city, try the chai caramel donuts soooooo delish. Unfortunately they close march 2nd so this was probably my last time for the season, but really try and go at least once its a great experience and a great view.

Ok so why 3 stars… Let’s start off by saying it trendy for any age, I would definitely recommend skating 1st then dinner because of the laid back atmosphere in the Resturant and being able to relax and look on to the ice skating ring. The Food: Appetizer we had Shrimp Ceviche which tasted good but was pricy for the amount. Dinner I had Chicken Cobb Salad tasty but not a salad that stands out. My bf had the Hanger steak Salad and he says he liked no complaints. Drinks strong small over priced. Dessert was Great!

The only good thing about this place was the nice staff, the amazing view and… that’s about it. My mother and I had the Pan Seared Salmon, My husband had the Short Rib Pappardelle, and daughter had old fashioned meatloaf.(That’s $ 104 not even including the drinks and dessert). Not only is the food pricey but its not edible, my salmon was OK but I had way better salmon for a better price. My husband only took three bits of his short rib and couldn’t eat it, I tried it(it tastes disgusting). The meatloaf was pretty dry and tasted funny also. The food was seriously not worth the price, what you are really paying for here is the view and experience. $ 16 margaritas is also ridiculous but they did taste great and where strong. For dessert we had the Molten Chocolate cake and Bartlett Pear Cheesecake, the chocolate cake was ok, but the pear cheesecake tasted horrible!!! Please never get that! It had this bitter taste i’m not sure what that’s on the menu. All in all I suggest just coming here for drinks,(their hot chocolates look great by the way) and just have the experience without the big price attached.

I went to Celsius during the winter and what an experience. Very sheek and modern. They have heated outdoor seating with super comfortable lounge sofas… Nothing more cozy than heated lamps and watching people slip and fall on the ice rink a few feet away. The drinks are strong and the food was decent. The cauliflower Mac n cheese was the best. Definitely coming back next winter, great date spot as well.

I wish this place was open year-round! I was nervous to try this restaurant, fearing it would be full of tourists and too upscale. But I came here on a Wednesday night. It wasn’t packed. The view was cool. The decorations were fun to see(the big hanging balls as lights.) The servers were attentive and nice. The avocado stuffed with quinoa was refreshing. You definitely know you are eating a healthy option, but how can anything be bad with avocado and yellow corn? I had the mushroom Cavatalli in garlic sauce with gouda shreds. The gouda was actually generous slices and the pasta itself with the sauce was«hmmm, good» I was getting full, but still loved the sauce, so finished all the mushrooms at least. For dessert my friend and I shared the S’mores dessert. I thought it was would live up to its hype, as a popular dessert, but it was meh. The graham part was stale and the chocolate was good, but it is the combination that should work. We stayed until the restaurant was completely empty and the staff was putting up the chairs. but they weren’t rude and besides telling us when the kitchen would close, didn’t rush us.

The food looks nice but doesn’t taste as good. Too pricey for pretty weak drinks. I would give one star more if the drinks were stronger. Good for tourists(I guess!) but wasn’t a great experience.

I’m giving 5 stars to a seasonal pop-up restaurant, I know! But the food was so good here I wish it would stay year round. I’ve come here twice, once for a work lunch and once for a work holiday party. The service is friendly and the views of the Bryant Park ice skating rink are amazing. Now for the food — who knew that a pop-up restaurant would strive for and achieve perfection! Celsius was a win-win-win. My short rib pappardelle was phenomenal. Plentiful and large pieces of meat, perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked pasta. My lunch mate couldn’t stop oohing and awwing about her pork chop. It came with a piece of bacon on it — bacon on pork chop a little redundant? I think not! My other friend loved her deliciously juicy burger and fries(I stole a few). Dessert blew us out of the water. You must get the s’mores. I have no words. You just have to trust me and get it. The apple turnovers with cinnamon gelato were heavenly as well. The only miss were the mini doughnuts, they’re not good, even when I tried them again at the holiday party, they weren’t good, steer clear of those and you should be fine. This pop up disappears first of March(I believe), so try it before it’s gone.

Went for a little romantic date with my boyfriend & we both work for this type of industry so we consider ourselves a little picky when it comes to food or SERVICE. I honestly loved that we were sitting outside with the view to the ice skating rink. It was a nice view along with the Empire State in the back. To start of with the drinks the apple cider margarita was really really good, I loved it. The appetizer was the chorizo croquettes which I wasn’t that amazed with, they were good but too dry and the consistency made you feel like you were eating just a not completely boiled potato. Just painful to eat because of the consistency. Then we had the pork chop and a salmon with side of French fries. I loved the entrée and the French fries were addicting, the coquette flavor was forgotten after this. We topped it off with the chocolate cake which was soooo good, we were actually thinking about getting another BUT to make a reference to the service: he never asked us if we wanted anything else, we had also planned to have another drink but I guess we couldn’t. He just dropped off the check. Nothing was to ruin my date we just paid and left but I wish the service staff would be more considerate, I was planning on spending more getting a couple of other stuff. Other than that I liked it. Ps. Bussers and food runners were very sweet, so was the manager but just the waiter dropping off the check when we weren’t even done just bothered me.

Cool little pop up bar in Bryant Park. We only stopped in for one drink … the place is made up to look like an ice palace with white décor and clear ceiling. Drinks were pricey but good. I had a pineapple vodka drink off the menu that was dusted with cinnamon and delicious. My friends got wine and Moscow Mules. There were high top tables and a little couch area, in addition to bar seating. I saw a lot of people eating as well. Very festive place to hang out, especially if you are waiting for friends or family on the ice rink.

The place was very busy, but was able to get in upstairs and seated immediately. I had the Chambord hot chocolate with vodka — and pricy at $ 15 a cup. My friend ordered a dessert which came out looking and tasting like the .99 cent 5 to a-pack you buy at a gas station with just caramel drizzled on the plate. Giving this 3 stars instead of 2 only because the area and views of the ice skating were pretty cool.

We went there after the walk around in Bryant Park to drink some hot chocolate and warm up. The place is nothing special. The minimalistic, modern décor seems cold and uninviting. They also have a really strict division between dinning section and bar section. And it seemed to me that if you don’t want to enjoy a full meal at Celsius you are the second class client and they don’t really care if you stay or leave. We wanted to grab a cup of hot chocolate and some cake and go outside near the heat lamps but they send us to the bar area. And the bar area is really small and uncomfortable. The table was crooked and my friend damaged his camera when he had put it on the table and it slid to the floor. We ordered hot chocolate but not cake as it turned out you can only do it in restaurant area(lol). It was nice, but not worth a trouble as I had way better.

Oh, Celsius. We had high hopes. I feel like so many 1 – 3 star reviews start of like this«I came here on a group-on» Well… Here’s another! Yes, my bf and I came here on a GroupOn. Sometimes, I do feel like the wait staff, managers or bartenders hate no words more than«Groupon», «Living Social» or another one of those faithful deal sites. I know sometimes people don’t realize they should tip on what the amount would have been. And I know sometimes people don’t treat the wait staff appropriately, but its hard to have a waiter just COMPLETELY ignore you. I don’t know if this was because we came on a groupon or if he just is always like this with his tables. We met up with another couple, the entire deal was an app to share, two entrees, a dessert to share, two cocktails(or beer or wine) and then a VIP skating package. Sounds like a lot right? Well, we got there hoping to skate after our dinner, but by the time we managed to finish our meal with our absentee waiter, the skating rink was closing so we weren’t able to go skating, making the deal barely a deal. 2 stars. Some of the food was awesome– for example, my boyfriend had pot roast short ribs and they were *awesome*. The other couple with us ordered the Mediterranean platter for their app and we got to try that out– it was good. The hummus was really tasty, the eggplant dip was really great. My bf and I got calamari(I have mentioned in reviews how much I love calamari). It seemed like we got the remains of everyone else’s calamari. Just crumbles with very few real pieces of squid. For my entrée I got the salmon– the flavor was pretty good but it was barely warm! I blame our server for this. Seriously. he was just MIA the whole time, even coming around and asking WAY after we had gotten our apps, eaten them and had them cleared, if we had ever gotten our calamari.. . Oh dessert– He tried to force the blue velvet cake on us as it seemed he was doing with everyone, my guess is because it was what was left. The couple with us instead got the pb cake and we got the donuts. Both were tasty, but I wanted more. Redeeming the night was the company and the view. I liked watching the skaters below. I just wish that I had gotten to skate. :(

Nice place to stop in for a cup of hot chocolate or warn drink, they have a full bar. It overlooks the Bryant park skating rink. I did not try the food. Good spot to people watch or while you wait to skate.

Awesome little spot to go if your looking for something wintery to do. Ice skate at Bryant park, then get a good meal with some strong hot drinks at celsius! The décor is cozy, wintery and gives a great view of the rink and the city. Stopped in here while waiting for friends and ordered a snow cap and the hot spiced cider. Soooo good! Hit the spot perfectly! The service is friendly as well. We didnt get to eat here, but I certainly plan on being back for dinner! Highly recommend!

Pros– * good view of the skating rink. * good view of the Rockafella tree * Lots of cute stores close by. * inside and outside seating * Close to Subway system. * 2 stories. Cons– * Pretty pricey drinks, paid 9 $ for a beer bottle. * Super small bar area. It’s an ok place for a cocktail but catching a buzz here could leave you broke. Cheers

Review for bar only. If I could, I’d give Celsius 2.5 stars, for convenience and location. Freezing in Bryant Park(for the 2nd time in 3 days) for an hour and half while 20 students wander about and try to ice skate is not my ideal way to spend the early evening. Enter Celsius! Unfortunately, I was unable to sit outside(under the amazing heat lamps) to watch the skating, as those table were for dinner only. I was lucky enough to grab a seat at the bar to have a cocktail or two while waiting. The bartenders were smugly polite and not entirely in a hurry to provide service. Sadly, both of the drinks I ordered – the Pineapple Thyme and the Snowcap – appeared to be pre-made on some level, which made for less than amazing tasting(and quite weak) drinks. I mean, muddled pineapple sounds awesome, and the chocolate shavings on the Snowcap would’ve been nice; neither of those things made their way into either drink. Disappointing. I was glad, however, that the drinks weren’t priced as high as they easily could’ve been. There’s that, at least.

After brunch nearby we headed over to see what the Holiday Market had to offer. I was thrilled to see that there was ice skating for those who wanted to do so. All kinds of vendors selling their fare. I love all kinds of jewelry and there is no shortage of it here, some beautiful glass art, all kinds of food(had I known, we would have just come here to eat instead of a crowded restaurant) and much more. There was some art that I had seen at the Union Square market, and had asked the guy there if it was his, he said yes. The person at Bryant Park was someone else and the art was the exact same stuff. so… boo on lying to me dude — its mass made. I love supporting new/struggling artists and often buy prints but this was uncool. Aside from that, we had a great time walking around and purchasing gifts for the holiday!

Winter time in Bryant park with its ice skating rink, little holiday stands, hot cider, Frank Sinatra playing over the loud speakers. It’s magic. And of course Celsius. As usual I was giddy to come out here for the first time this year. After watching the skaters for an hour, Celsius is the perfect spot to have a hot(or cold) drink. The Snow Cap is my favorite but there are a lot of other great cocktails — or you can just have plain hot chocolate, minus the alcohol. I love the bar upstairs since it’s cozy and looks down on the rink. This place is truly a lovely NY winter experience — whether you are visiting or live here.
