As a result of the recession, this story hardly had any food during the first 8 months of 2009. If you asked management why, they would get an attitude. They occassionally run out of some brands and don’t replace them frequently because they don’t have the money to do so. I understand, but it’s still disappointing from a consumer standpoint. Can’t help but to wonder if other neighborhoods have the same problem… I prefer Fairway and Whole Foods, but those are out of the way. So in the meantime, I just have to suffer… Also the cashiers are so hood and never say hello or thank you. They are always on their cell phones. How unprofessional.

Better than the Associated around the corner, this one gets some major grade inflation due to the sorry grocery offerings in Central Harlem.
