If you life coffee that tastes like lukewarm bile, you’ve found your spot. If, however, you were unfortunate enough to be born with taste buds, take your business elsewhere.

Not impressed when I went there. Also, the owner is on video threatening an innocent cyclist with violence

$ 13 for a mediocre sandwich with a «side of green salad»(several pieces of mesclun with no dressing on it) and a tiny chai latte? This place is a personification of why living in NYC is so damn expensive; measly portions at ridiculous prices. Will never go back.

This place is very pricey. about 8 – 9 dollars for a medium sized juice. I asked if their fruits were organic, they should be considering the price, but they barista just shrugged. I asked her about one of the drinks and she just read the board for me… thank you for nothing? Anyways, I randomly picked something and it was okay. Nothing special, it wasn’t sweet, it tasted like some type of fruit juice. Not a memorable experience.

This place is way overpriced and I just watched the manager take his bags of garbage and deposit them across the street on the corner next to the public trash bin. Lots of other good coffee places in the neighborhood. Don’t let the nice planters outside fool you.

One of about five soups were available that were on the menu, which was lamb with lentil. When I got the soup, there was no lamb in it, so I basically spent $ 8 for a bowl of what tasted like canned lentil soup. I told them they should update the menu and in return I got a laugh.

I’ve always wondered what establishment would get my first review. Would it be a secret spot, a perennial favorite or a tome of warning to other potential customers? Well. it is the latter. STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE!!! I GOTGLASSINMYICEDCOFFEE! It all started so simply. The counter help had zero to negative personality. No problem. I don’t need the smile with my coffee. But then the price of my large iced coffee was a bit sky high($ 3.80 for plain iced coffee). La Colombe Torrefaction is up the street and that coffee is incredible and a hell of a lot cheaper. That said, I gladly got the coffee and it was decent. I just said to myself I probably wouldn’t come back. No bigs. THEN, I felt a scratch down my throat. Upon inspection I found SHARDSOFGLASS in the bottom of my cup. I know I’m not going to die from this, but it is super uncomfortable. What did I do? I didn’t freak out. I just walked back to the store with the cup o’ glass to show them they need to change the ice. Once I got there, I showed the glass to the guy behind the counter and he just gives me the ol’ deer in headlights. Not because he is shocked/worried about serving glass to people. I just think he wasn’t the brightest bulb. I didn’t get an apology and thats not even the issue. The issue is: WHEN I TOLDTHEMTHEREWASGLASSINTHEICEANDTHEYNEEDTOCHANGETHEICE, THEYDIDNOTCARE/UNDERSTAND/DO ANYTHING. From what I saw, they are most likely still serving the same glass filled ice. As I told this story to coworkers. a bunch of them had similar stories that started with«oh yeah, you shouldn’t go to that place. I had this or that happen…» STAYAWAY. Brew, I hope you close asap. You suck.

Tis a scam I tell you. I used to come here 4x a week since I work so close. Ever since I started coming here, I had to replace my credit card 4x in a matter of 2 months. Someone kept stealing my card number, replicating it and using it at weird as* places. Its been 1 month since I havent been back here and I havent had an issue with my credit card since. If you have your credit card numbers stolen and have weird charges, then you know its Brew. Not worth the hassle of getting a new credit card. I will stick to Water and save me $$$ and hassle.

We stopped by here after walking through Soho. We were exhausted from shopping, so we pretty much settled for this café because it was the closest to us. I ordered a mocha which was very bitter. I ended up having to add sugar to it. Most of the employees there were very nonchalant and a bit snobby. Not to mention the smoothies were $ 7.

The place is small, but cozy, nicely decorated, has a nice bench outside with some small plants and the staff is great. The grub(sandwiches and salads) are good and the coffee is great. But my issue is pricing — it’s expensive even for Soho standards. I agree good coffee should cost more than a couple cents, but $ 3.27 for a shot of espresso is outrageous. There are other excellent coffee spots in the area and nobody is charging even 70% of that.
