Cute place! Good food, service and beverages. It has a great little workspace in the back — keep in mind that it gets busy though!

This is such a cute place to read and catchup with friend! I had the white chocolate cookie with pretzel which was $ 3.78 quite pricey but worth a try! Their cookies and baked goods look amazing but definitely can be shared since its large. It wasn’t as chewy as I expect it to be but it was a good amount of crunch and chewy. My favorite part was biting into the pretzel with cookie! Love the ambiance, it’s so good for doing devotionals, cute place in Soho. I was there when it was pouring so that was sad but I had a nice view of trees. Can’t drink coffee cus really sensitive but it smells really good and I would try something with the lavender!

This is a very cute café however the location in West Village is better. I highly recommend the lavender blueberry cake to pair with your lavender hot chocolate. This is seasonal so get it asap! It has lavender petals on top of the purple frosting and was really moist. Their most popular cake is pistachio but I found this really dry. It might have just been this batch. The cups are really cute and the bunny décor reminds me of Peter Rabbit. However, this is not a place for you to do work due to the dim lighting inside.

Great place! Food is great. Nice environment, quite and clean. A really good place to avoid loud brunch places on a Sunday.

Haven’t tried the brunch yet so I’m leaving out one star. However the ambience was definitely hitting my heart! Delicious fruit cup with alright coffee. Hopefully the lunch could impress me next time!

Came to try their lavender hot chocolate that many people rave about. Not quite sure if I would recommend it as much as many other would. The aroma of lavender was very mild, barely noticeable. It made the hot chocolate taste… gritty/powdery…and I’m not talking about the texture either. If it were only for this I would give it 3 stars only. But I also had their pistachio cake and its was HEAVENLY!!! I highly recommend this. The ambience was nice, definitely good place to go if you’re into picture taking.

maybe i shouldn’t review this place just yet, I only had the lavendar hot chocolate, which was beautiful, delicate while boyfriend had a cappucino. But the experience of this very Soho, dreaming-of-Paris sweetness shaped the pleasure of our afternoon, down to the design of the paper cups from which we sipped. Not a large café, thankfully, or it would lose its charm, but so much loving attention to food and interior design, plus a back area for a more invested sit down. Not going to bother describing color schemes and materials. just go see for yourself.

Cute coffee spot with decent coffee and snacks. Came here on a weekday afternoon to catch up and it was pretty quiet. There are three stools in the front by the windows and a whole dining /lounge section in the back. We ordered an americano, the infamous chocolate chunk cookie and the lemon poppyseed bread. While the place was cute and the pastries looked delicious, I felt that the food fell a bit short. My americano was pretty good and the chocolate chunk cookie was alright. However maybe since their cookie was way over hyped, I felt I’ve had better cookies out there. The nuts was a good addition to the chocolate chip but does it beat levain’s chocolate walnut cookie? Nah. The lemon poppy seed was also not lemony as well. While I was a bit disappointed, the place is still a cute place to hang out(and take pics for the gram).

Cute coffee shop. Came in here for brunch and got their Lasagna and Lavender hot chocolate. Lasagna was pretty good 4⁄5 stars. It was $ 8 and the size was pretty big as well. It had eggplant inside and it pretty filled me up. After reading a lot of reviews, so many people suggested the Lavender hot chocolate, I decided to get it. It was pretty good. 4.5÷5. You can taste the lavender in the hot chocolate and it is sweet but not as sweet as regular hot chocolate. Loving the ambience. Personally came here to check out their food and their décor. I would come here again.

This place is great if you are into a Pintrest-esque ambience/vibe. When you enter the store you order at the counter. If you walk down the hall towards the back of the building there is a very cute seat area with rustic furniture, distressed wood tables, string lights, and potted plants. In addition to drinks they also sell quiches, small sandwiches and salads. We got a red pepper and goat cheese quiche, which was very light and fluffy. However it was $ 6, which alright but the food wasn’t THAT mind blowing. I think what you’re really paying for though, is the décor and ambience. If you are a blogger looking to take cool artsy pictures than you would probably really like this place.

This place is heaven for people who post on instagram often haha every corner of the shop is IG-worthy, elegant and super cute! In the front, you can order things to go, or sit near the windows on some high stools. They also have an area in the back for brunch I believe, but I didn’t get a chance to go back there since it was so busy. I’ve heard about their lavender hot chocolate for a while, and it did not disappoint! Definitely a nice treat for a cold winter day in NYC :) Good spot to catch up with friends or a brunch date! Next time I gotta try something from their bakery!

I am a lover of coffee shops, and Maman certainly does it for me. Pros: the ambiance is perfect for a coffee shop– from the atmosphere(very cozy, homey, & quite picturesque) to the packaging of the coffee cups. The entire space is well decorated and there is tons of greenery throughout. There is a very quaint seating area in the back that can seat about 13 or so people. The coffee(both ice and hot) is so tasty!!!(5⁄5) The pastries are very good. Cons: They don’t have flavorings for the coffee(i.e.: no hazelnut etc). The service is a little disorganized, but nothing to totally ruin the experience.(The barista gave me and the person in front of me the wrong sizes of drinks [both ordered smalls, they gave us larges], and instead of just giving them to us, they dumped the coffee out, threw away the cup, and gave us smalls). They don’t share their wifi network, but there is an open connection that will allow you to connect. Overall, Maman seems more suitable as a place to stop by for a coffee date, rather than a coffee shop to park at to study/work/spend the day. I really loved Maman for a coffee shop, and will definitely be going back anytime I am in the area and want coffee. If you can handle a little disorganization definitley check this place out for some coffee, and a snack.

The lavender hot chocolate is probably the best thing I ever tasted. At first sip, you literally are confused because it is such a different taste but by the second sip, you realize that you have been missing out on amazing hot chocolate your whole life. The cups are gorgeous too. I ordered a salad but I can not remember the name. It had apples, blue cheese, carrots, walnuts and some other items. I really liked the salad but my only problem with it was that I constantly found huge pieces of blue cheese and either I ate a huge piece by accident or was cutting it into smaller pieces. Besides that, it was great.

A cute French coffee shop with a rustic décor and a really good Lavender hot chocolate. Only thinking about that hot chocolate makes me happy. There have been times that I traveled half of the city just to get my Lavender Hot Chocolate fix. The pastries look good too. I will definitely try one next time. There is such a relaxing atmosphere that you want to live in that tiny café.

This place is a hidden treasure! From the outside you will see it as a normal coffee place with some stools and the counter displaying some food. As you go in you notice a corridor to the left that leads to the back where it has more tables and chairs for you to enjoy your drink and food. The place seems very relaxing and comfy. Good place to come to enjoy a drink and some reading.

Super adorable café, where you will find adorable white bunnies everywhere. Fresh quality ingredients, sandwiches, salads, and pastries. This is the first location of the two, second in TriBeCa. Back of the café has sit down dining option, with brunch severed in weekend. tried Croque Monsieur, it’s crispy toasted outside however they put this creamy cheesy sauce that is abit too much n makes it soggy. not my favorite. their salad, with beets, sweet potato is very good. Lavender hot chocolate is also good on a cold NY winter day. Stop by on ur way or after your soho shopping ~~

I love the atmosphere of this place. It may be tiny, but its rustic décor makes it very relaxing. There are additional seating in the back. I wished they opened later but most cafes usually close around 6−7pm. The lavender hot chocolate is my go to drink here. I also enjoy the quiches. They’re generously portioned and reasonably priced.

Maman is such a cute spot — it’s got that rustic, old-bottles-used-as-flower-vases vibe. There’s also a surprising amount of adorable seating in the back, so it’s a great spot to escape from the otherwise-bustling streets of LES. The lavender hot chocolate is a must-try #treatyoself moment, and I also really enjoyed my cute little financier pastry, which was made extra special with the addition of cranberries and what seemed like almond paste. This is going to sound ridiculous, but I fell in love with their beautiful to-go cups. They are simply gorgeous: integrated corrugated liners with batik-patterned custom graphics, a simple logo treatment that doesn’t disrupt the design, and re-sealable top made from sturdy, thick plastic. It’s the kind of thing I’m generally enamored with as someone who’s worked in advertising, graphic and product design. But it’s also something I’d be impressed with if, say, some special guy brought it back to my apartment on a Sunday morning after a magical Saturday evening together, which of course would also have included small-batch cocktails served in teacups and happy frolicking on tree-lined city streets. Because that kind of thing happens in real life, right?

Cookie review only. I did copious amount of research before embarking on my chocolate chip cookie tour of NYC. Maman came up several times, and even though I noticed that they put nuts into their cookies and I am not nuts over nuts in cookies, I decided to overlook this fact since their cookie got so many raves. I stepped into Maman(I really like Maman’s logo, very squiggly and wavy) and was helped immediately by a woman since no one else was waiting. It didn’t seem like any other cookie varieties were available to be purchased. I paid for the«‘famous’ nutty chocolate chunk cookie.» It was a bit confusing since I was paying but the woman set the cookie on the perpendicular counter. Why can’t they just give it to you during payment? The bathroom was very charming. I even took a picture of the blue tile because it was so beautiful. The back dining room was packed with people. All the seats in the front of the café were taken, but I was lucky enough to grab a seat outside. I dug into my cookie but found myself being let down since the dessert was practically all nuts. Mountains of macadamias. The nutty chocolate chunk cookie was $ 4.08 with tax. Levain’s cookies are weightier, can come without nuts, and are $ 4.00. Winner: Levain.

The iced coffee was not to my liking. Neither was the nutty chocolate chip cookie. They weren’t bad, just not my idea of a great product. It is cute inside, though.
