Avoid. Ordered delivery and the food never arrived. They also left their phone off the hook so for 3 hours, no way to get in touch to check on the order.

Ordered wings for the Super Bowl several hours in advance. When they were expected to arrive — nothing. An hour later — still nothing. For the next hour, I tried calling: only to find that the phone was off the hook. Finally, two hours after my expected delivery, I received a call from Best Wingers letting me know that my order had been delayed(no, really?). No apology, just asked if I still wanted them. Terribly experience. Will be looking elsewhere next time.

We ordered wings from seamless for our super bowl party. We received a confirmation 3 hours ago that they were being delivered. Still have not received. We have 50 people here waiting for super bowl food. This is ridiculous!!!

If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. I ordered wings at 5:00 and it is currently past 9:00 and nothing has been delivered. It also seems that they are purposely leaving their phone off the hook so it stays busy. It has been busy for the past 3 hours. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had with a delivery place

Hi – I ordered over two hours ago and I still have not received my order. You are not picking up your phone — there’s only a busy tone. Being busy during the Superbowl is no excuse. My friend has already been charged for our order. Contact me immediately to resolve this issue. Thanks.

Myself and 3 other managers placed orders from Best Wingers last week, all were separate orders at different times and we order the New York style Chicken tenders and we ALL were violently ill for 2 days! I would not suggest anyone eat here as they have a serous issue on their hands. The worst part was when I tried to call and speak to a manager named Sophia I was told she would be in, in an hour so I called back and they said she won’t be coming in that day. I tried to leave a message but they didn’t want to take it just told me to call back. As someone in the customer service industry they need to get it together or they won’t have a future in the food industry much longer. Very disappointing.

Ordered Best Wingers on a lazy day. My boyfriend got boneless buffalo strips and I got the 2 piece plain fried chicken. Both were delicious! Mind had crispy skin and the meat was moist. The buffalo sauce on the strips was really good — tangy with heat but not too spicy. We had the potato wedges which had curly fry seasoning on them and were again crispy on the outside but nice and hot on the inside. The mac and cheese was not very flavorful but really hit the spot as an accompaniment to the salt and spice of the other food. On another day of lazing around, if we’re craving fast food, this will do the trick!

I couldn’t believe I just discover this gem in my neighborhood!!! The fried chicken was on point. The mashed potatoes was great. Oh and the moro rice… yum! It’s a great to-go place. What makes it better is it’s soooo cheap!!!

I used to work closer and go there more often. My visits have become few, but they are still as enjoyable. My usual is the #1 meal: chicken wings or tenders(choice of sauce), choice of side, and a drink. I go for the chicken tenders in the terminator bbq sauce and potato salad. The tenders are cooked nicely, juicy, not dry. The terminator bbq sauce is not the hottest sauce; it is second to the exterminator sauce. However, the terminator bbq sauce is hot, but not overpowering with a nice smoky taste. I also tried the blossom sauce(the next down in heat), which is okay. The sauces taste great when dipped in the blue cheese dressing. The potato salad is pretty basic, but not bad. It is filling and a nice counterbalance to the heat of the chicken. You have a choice of a variety of canned sodas, or water, to have with the meal. The cost of the #1 meal is a little over $ 10. It is comfort food for me, and I’ve always left this place full and happy. The place is small, but most of the business is take-out or delivery. I’ve always found a seat. They recently(well, recently for me, as I hadn’t been there in months) added a large flat-screen TV. The guy who was sitting next to it kept hitting the TV as he stood up. Maybe they should lift it a few inches or a foot higher, but the otherwise the tables are fine. The people who work there have been fine(polite and efficient). I have had to wait sometimes, especially if the place is crowded, but my wait has never been too long, and I can’t argue with the results. I’ve never tried their delivery. No, the place isn’t fancy, but it’s a great place to have lunch. I’ve heard great things about the fried chicken. Maybe one day I’ll check it out.

LOVE this place!!! I always opt for the value meal #1 with 3 buffalo wings, a side(WEDGES!!) and a soda for $ 9.95. I get the sauce on the side just because I’m not much of a sauce girl. The chicken is SO tender and juicy, with just enough breading. The wedges are slightly spicy. All in all, a good price for a lot of food(I always get 2 meals out of this). The workers are nice too :)

This place offers the best boneless chicken fingers and wings for delivery. Pretty quick delivery in the evening which is nice. Food is also fresh when delivered. Try them out during lunch or a late night at the office. You won’t be disappointed.

Fried chicken here gets an A+. Stuffs addictive. Super crispy. Nice and moist. Oh so oily. Finger lickin good. Wings are good too. I recommend the blossom or mango habañero, or any of the hot buffalo flavors. Their biscuits are not biscuits. But theyre awesome. Fluffy pillows of spongy buttery amazingness. Their tenders are also good. But mind you theyre huge. 4 is plenty for a person. Don’t recommend the buffalo fries or cheese fries. Like the wedges but not drenched in sauce. Also don’t recommend the mac or the tater salad.

The absolute worst food I have ever had delivered in NYC. Chicken fingers were soggy, dry and swimming in grease. Beef ribs were basically stock bones with a little bit of chewy fat a gristle, burnt on the grill and tossed with overly sweet bbq sauce. Burger, ordered medium rare was well done on a soggy stale bun, brown lettuce, unripe tomatoes and soggy ass french fries. HORRIBLE!!! –5 stars

Soggy… messy… lots of sauce… poor and cheap containers to hold everything together. My friend and I were pretty hyped about getting wings from this place. The décor and size of the joint were not impressive… but we thought the food might tell a different story. WRONG!!! Please satisfy your wing craving from somewhere else. And just to say… I loveee wings. My parents owned a restaurant growing up and my siblings and I resulted in being SuperSuper wings fans… and this place gets it all wrong.

It’s good, definitely above average for a chicken joint but I mean it’s a chicken joint how good can it be… Also a little over priced

I’ve been ordering from Best Wingers for years. The wings are pretty standard though I wish they could be more competitively priced. 6 wings for $ 6.50, 12 wings for $ 12.95. Shouldn’t you be able to save more than 5 cents when placing a larger order? Wings come with bleu cheese & celery. The celery is always fresh and crisp. The only variable that pushes me to order from here vs. Atomic or any other place is their garlic parmesan sauce. It’s wing sauce with extra garlic and it’s so addicting. an extra side of wing sauce is .50 cents. I’ve mentioned this before in my other reviews before but I really dislike establishments that try to nickle and dime their customers. Is it really necessary to charge that extra .50 cents when loyal, repeat customers are placing regular $ 20+ orders over the course of years? Fried Chicken: The first time I had them, it was dry, brittle, overly fried, and really disappointing. But after giving it another shot, they have been consistently good ever since. Chalk up the bad fried chicken to an isolated incident. For the kind of place that it is, I wish they offered better prices but regardless, the garlic parmesan wings keep me coming back for more.(that, and the fried chicken)

Pretty solid wing joint, especially for the midtown area. I’m sure there are better options in New York, but I really can’t complain about the convenience and efficiency of Best Wingers. Their buffalo tenders are quite succulent and they have a pretty large array of side options to choose from, as well. Their Mac salad is pretty good, in addition to their potato wedges. Pretty good bang for your buck. Just make sure they have your order right, especially for takeout. They’ve messed mine up a few times now!

I give this place 2 stars only because the lady was nice when I placed the order and delivery was on time. The best tasting thing I got was my can of coke! Bbq chic and ribs — I would give negative stars if I could– I feel sick after just eating it, I’m honestly starting too question whether or not the food I ordered was actually chicken and beef– cheap ranch and blue cheese packets. Corn on the cob you could tell was just frozen and lit was hard with no flavor . Onion rings were decent with ketchup. And buffalo chicken tenders were soggy when I got them. The biscuit tasted good but could only enjoy half of it cuz the other half was doused in the cheap sweet bbq sauce they smotherd all over the chicken and ribs. Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here — if you want great bbq order from VIRGILS — they deliver and are the best !!!

From the outside, Best Wingers look like your average Chinese fast food restaurant. Actually, the inside looks like one too. But who knew a small place like this serves up some decent bbq meats. Their menu focuses on the basics of bbq, chicken and ribs. However, they choose to opt out of the typical pork ribs and serve huge dinosaur size beef ribs. Value Meal #4(14.70 w/tax) ¼ BBQ chicken, 2BBQ beef ribs, 2 biscuits & choice of two side & one soda. This meal is the only one with ribs. The meat was very tender and the bbq sauce was delicious. However, all ribs require a good spice rub in addition to the sauce and these ribs lacked seasoning. The bbq chicken consisted of one wing, drumstick, and thigh on the smaller end. The bbq process made the chicken very dry and charred so there was a burnt flavor all around. When ordering sides, opt for the safer choice of the buttery and fluffy biscuits instead of the bland mac and cheese and mash potatoes. Best Wingers might look like a fast food restaurant but I feel the prices don’t reflect that. The selection is a little over priced and there is not much of a selection. But they do have many different ways of combining quantities of each item so it is easy to have a try at everything.
